Been using this place for many years. One of the few places that make me a phall pizza. I used to order from these guys pretty much 3/4 times a week always asking for extra spicy dishes and never been disappointed. Very friendly staff, great tasting food and great prices. I moved away so can’t use them much anymore but when am in the area they my fave for sure. Shame they don’t deliver to longridge :p

Ordered take away via the website when we'd finished at the cinema for our son's birthday. Drove straight over to the Balti House to see how long it would be and decide whether to wait and pick up, or have it delivered so we could het home. On arrival, I was told it was on the grill and ready in 10 minutes. True to their word, it was. Took it home and, as always, it was spot on. 👌

Always hot and well cooked and portions are spot on. Best kebabs around. All the staff are always friendly and helpful. Great management

Lovely fresh food 5 out of 5 for food quality but unacceptable waiting time for delivery. Placed order at 6.30pm we phoned at 7.45pm to ask where out order was, we were told it's on the grill and it will be with you soon. We phoned again at 8.40 to be told the same thing. I was furious, they need to be honest when people are placing food orders and give a realistic waiting time. We finally received our delivery at 9.10pm

Love the curry pizza . Can make u wait a while and a little pricey but will worth it when.they get it right . Great staff . A definite recommend

Having tried many different curries in my many years, I found the one from here very disappointing. It wasn’t cooked as I asked? There wasn’t a lemon in the dish like every other place I’ve ordered from has included. The spice was all wrong and the colour wasn’t right. The rice was so bland and the starter dish of samosas were just the usual mass produced frozen ones. I won’t even mention the bread. And this was meant to be a good curry house. And to be charged £17.60 as the prices on the menu are not inclusive of VAT- I consider this as being over priced for something so bland. Aldi do better curries for under a £6

I really wish I could go here but sadly I live too far away. I can however confidently give a 5 star rating based on my experience of cooking the recipes they very kindly show us how to cook on their YouTube channel. I have been a fan of Indian cuisine for many years, I have cooked numerous dishes over the years but NOTHING and I mean NOTHING has ever come close to the 4 meals I have cooked by following Chef Hussain. I thought I knew Indian food but I knew nothing. The flavours are immense and the end product hands down beats any takeaway I have ordered from or any other chef I have followed. Authentic, quality, and healthy. What more could anyone want? I hope I can visit one day, but until then I shall keep cooking your recipes. Thanks very much for sharing them.

We stopped at rishton canal mooring last night ordered a take away at balti House the food was excellent one of the best we have had along the canal in a long time.

We have been here so many times with us living in Rishton and it isn’t too far, but after last night we will not be returning again. We ordered our food online at around 6pm where we would pick the order up from the store, we had to nip to the Co Op to get some money from the cash machine. We got to the takeaway around 6.30pm and we went in and where told that our food wouldn’t be long, we where waiting for our food. Now seeing as its winter and cold, why on earth did you have Air Con on, it was freezing cold in the takeaway waiting for our food, We could see the cold through our breath it was that cold. Our food wasn’t even ready until 7pm! We had been waiting an hour for our food, the person who gave us our food said a remark on it took so long because we ordered all the sauces, with the prices you charge I think we should order all the sauce. Now when we got home, we plated up our food, the food was cold and honestly i don’t even blame it for how freezing it was in the takeaway. But when we started eating my partner had ordered a Kebab with fries and salad there was no Salad, Which we had ordered. Now when i was eating my large fries, with garlic sauce, chilli sauce, i found a hair in my fries, i didn’t even finish eating my fries because After finding the hair in my fries it knocked me sick. We had another Kebab with Pitta bread no salad, and there should of been Garlic sauce and there was hardly any sauce when the person who gave us our food said “it took a while because you ordered all the sauce” We will not be returning here anymore.

Nothing to write home about. Waiting almost one hour. Staff kept arguing between themselves. The orders that had been placed seamed to have vanished. One customer was very annoyed he placed a telephone order to pickup in 30 mins. He had to wait a further 45mins in the shop. Definitely gone downhill. Wasn't great last time we ordered but thought it was a one off. Apparently not. Shame really.

Updated review: delivery issues resolved (🤞), EXCEPTIONAL meals of recent from Balti House. Curries have hit a new level, thin crust Pizzas top quality, fries of really good quality and portion sizes now justifying cost. Well done guys, you take your customers' feedback onboard and when you are hitting these levels of quality, I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Really disappointing, the place needs a clean, dust spider webs etc, staff are really dismissive, mainly towards anyone of colour to be fair, we really can't stand places that prioritise one type of clientele, then the prices - wooooo, why so much, honestly the food lacked flavour, such a disappointing and waste of money, never again.

The food was as tasty as always but again let down by the delivery .ordered at 5.15 pm on a Saturday night ,rang again at 7 and then at 8 to be told on its way 8.30 it cane it on the cold side. For a meal costing 45 pounds think we deserve better .I know the guys are working hard but seriously the amount of tine waiting is unacceptable.

Curry was bland. Not very tatsy at all. Chickens pakoras looked nothing like there facebook photos. They was slimey and oily . Dont fall for the Internet hype of there Facebook page. Its probably there own accounts hyping it up. It was up there we the worst ive tasted

My food was really cold and screwed up in the box. When I have ordered curries in the past they have been very oily and bland and extremely over priced. Food here is very expensive. I got charged £1.50 for delivery one time even though I was literally a couple of doors away and explained on the phone that I could not leave the house that particular evening. I get a money grabbing feel from this business. When I have complained in the past I get huge fake smiles and excuses that go on for half an hour instead of just putting things right. Also why can't there be non-halal options on the menu? How does the Balti house feel about serving food that isn't halal for those who need or want it?

We ordered a buffet for 18 to our house on boxing day and so glad we got it from the balti house. The food was fantastic and the service was also fantastic. Can't recommend enough. Thank you balti house for a great meal.🙂 I do have a picture but for some reason I can't upload it.

Myself and my husband have been customers of the balti house for around 12-13 years now. My husband has food allergies and the balti house have always gone above and beyond to help him eat their food. I’m picky too and they make adjustments to food for me too. It’s such a lovely company, the food is tasty and the staff are so lovely. Delivery does take a while but tbh it’s worth it. It’s a bit of a comfort food for us. We highly recommend it to anyone who wants quality food from a great small business. We love you guys! - Emma & Scott.

Fuming! Two hours later rang the restaurant several times to be told it was on its way! Still nothing again and again after ringing over and over £30 order taken out my bank to still have not been delivered! My children waiting for food disgusting customer service!!!!!!!

So I’ve been a customer since I was around 13 (now 40) and was always the go to takeaway but as of late, slow delivery, extra greasy and soggy pizzas and a total lack of care given regarding any complaints nowadays, as not even a response was given this last time, so after all these years, I won’t be ordering here anymore.

My family and I have been eating at the Balti House for over twenty years. Really nothing else like it. Wherever I eat Indian food elsewhere in the UK I always compare it to the BH, and nearly every time they never come close to the quality of the BH. Cheers guys!

We visited for pizza, chips and onion rings whilst moored on the canal. We all really enjoyed them the pizza cooked to perfection and so tasty. Wish we lived closer (Do you deliver 100 Miles?)

I work nearby. Ordered from there twice and on both occasions my food has been delivered too early, despite the fact that I have left the message to the staff asking for it to be on time as I have a work break on specific time. Got my order 40 minutes too early. Could understand 5, 10 or 15 mins but 40?In different circumstances I would be happy, but I was at work, asked to be on time. (They have a feature on their website when you order to message the staff. What's the point if they seem not to read them at all). My food stayed in the canteen for 40 mins, and I had to eat it cold ( microwave kebab with sauces and salad is no good). 2 stars only because it was tasty (even cold).

The absolute best takeaway in the area. The kebabs and curries are outstanding and great value for money. Their burgers and pizza are also very good, and given that they do pizzas and burgers so well is testament to their high standards. Highly recommended.

Ordered a pizza and kebab at 1830 and finally arrived 3 and half later. Not good enough in my book. If could have given them a zero star i would. Not impressed.

Used to order from this take away when I lived locally and the standard was great but a 2 hour wait for delivery is beyond a joke. Rang up after an hour for update to be told food was in front ready to be delivered. Waited for 30 more minutes and nothing had arrived, rang back to be told food wasn’t ready. Poor customer service (rude and lied to on phone on previous call). I tried to cancel order but was refused instead offered a small refund of 20% would have preferred a full refund as the food was below average.

Once again I didn't get what I ordered, walked up and waited , ordered tikka doner kebab, I got 10 small pieces of chichen more like tandoori in a pitta bread, no salad and absolutely covered like a river with chilli and garlic sauce wrapped in foil ...£10.95.. never again Balti House, bloody awful, last chance saloon has gone, new owners again...bye💩

Waited 2 hours despite trying to get through 5 mins after they opened! Kebab rolls not great at all- soggy and Tikka masala too hot to eat!

The balti house in rishton are amazing and have the best food. We travel 20 minutes to collect as we live in blackburn. The curry's are so tasty and has the best cheese garlic bread in Lancashire. Staff are friendly and the owner is such a nice person. I shall continue going here every week for a treat as its worth the drive. Thank you guys 😊

I really can't fault this place the owners are aboulsty amazing to talk to so friendly and always there to help if there any issue at all just ring them up they will sort ASAP no concerns any mix up with your order they sort ASAP all way and fresh food from here at times yet waited for a long time but there extremely busy at times but they explain on the phone there going to so long then walk and collect if so then complain its come cold when you might be a wall away 😉

Very disappointed with my order I've just received, this is the 4th time in a row now I've ordered food waited over 2 hours even after phoning several times to be told the food is ready thier just waiting on a driver, To then recieve the food soogy and cold. I've been a regular customer here for years sooo disappointed not sure if they have new staff or not but I will not be ordering again. I'm all for giving people the benefit of the doubt but 4th time in a row that was more than generous on my part.

Thank you Balti House for a delicious hot Boxing Day takeaway which included chicken tikka, naan breads, doner meat, chips, pizza & a burger. Everything was perfectly cooked, hot & was delivered in a very good time. You cannot go wrong if you order from here. 👍👍

Great food but the service is shocking. I’ve tried this place 3 separate times and each time they have not met the delivery time I’ve requested. 3hours is the longest I’ve had to wait for food, and using covid as a excuse is just a poor excuse now. Such a shame as the food is excellent.

Not been here for a while and won't be going ever again. Food was already cooked then put on the grill and dried even more. £2.50 for a tiny portion of chips. What a waste of money. I don't mind paying for good food but this place doesn't supply any.

Ordered a curry on New Year's Eve at 17.30pm, advised it would come in 90minutes, after 2.5hours I contacted them and they apologised and advised it would be with us in 20 minutes. After numerous phone calls it arrived just after 9pm. We we're unhappy to say the least and expressed we were unhappy to pay the £33.50 owed for the curry due to it being over 4hours late & lukewarm! They said they would take the money from the drivers wage! Absolutely disgusting and disappointed. We refused the curry (after the person on the phone being extremely rude and thinking a 4hour wait was excepable!). We used to be regular customers of the Balti House, however we will NEVER go there again or recommend to anyone we know. Disgusting service and treatment of there drivers! Zero star.

The services from balti House is absolutely shocking I rang at 5 when it opens and the order took 2 hours when trying to find out where my order was I was left on hold by the receptionist who never came back to the phone so had to ring an other 3 times to try and talk to someone. The delivery needs sorting out because I find it absolutely ridiculous and I won’t be ordering from here again because it’s the same everytime
