We went for the Chef Victor Yu and Steve Smith duo for their East Meets West sitting for my birthday. The menu was absolutely amazing, every dish was delicately put together for a taste sensation 👌 the service was excellent, staff waited on you and you was never left with an empty glass for long 😀

Basic non authentic Cantonese food with high prices. No tea on the menu. Food under seasoned and on the bland side. A nice cocktail bar without all the ingredients to make a basic cocktail i.e. mint. Ordinary tasting non alcoholic drinks. The service and the welcome were however excellent, thank you staff. Sorry for this mediocre review but this was a special birthday treat and I was disappointed.

Went here in a party of four, unfortunately my wife's main did not come out with the rest. To the credit of Yu they were very apologetic and removed the dish from the bill without us asking which was good of them and was appreciated. It did leave us a little disappointed. If I am going to be hyper critical, in my opinion the main dishes were a little over expensive

Visiting here on holiday, looked beforehand and seemed high end and a luxury experience. Would say room for improvement, it wasn't busy, maybe 8 tablets seated.... Firstly our drinks order never arrived and was forgotten by our waiter, we had 3 different people serve us and take orders which perhaps maybe the reason for confusion? The food was very expensive and didn't deliver what I expected, being a lover of steak and having had my far share and also being surrounded by the agricultural sector with beef production farms as my personal business.... I ordered the wagyu steak... Expected a steak like this to be respected and served accordingly, however over seasoned and over cooked, this should be lightly cooked and sauce separately served to allow the flavour of the meat to be appreciated rather than drowned in a sauce so I could have been eating rump steak for all I knew... Anyway has potential to be amazing just needs refining in preparation and presentation of the higher end dishes they offer. Would visit again if in this area.

Been wanting to try this restaurant for sometime. and it didn't fail in any way food was super. staff all very pleasant too really enjoyed our time there definatly will return

Stellar! Came here on Thursday. I had some delicious small starters that came in a brilliant time, and then I had duck which was flavourful and melt in the mouth!! One of the best Chinese restaurants in the area and brilliant service staff. Maybe a bit pricey but definitely worth that little bit more for the excellent quality, also I didn't mind the fact that the service fee was included in the bill as it was fantastic and polite. Overall I would definitely recommend coming here with 5* food and 5* service

Amazing food, but the service was out of this world. From cleaning the table after each table to being attentive to our needs. Couldn't fault the staff or the food

Excellent food and service with a relaxed atmosphere. It's a little pricey but the overall experience is well worth it. Save up and treat yourselves. Highly recommended!

A lovely restaurant to celebrate those special occasions. Very high quality food and outstanding service. Friendly staff, top notch gourmet Chinese food.

My husband and I had high expectations, but we were disappointed with the mediocrity of the food considering the heavily inflated price. The service was only ok; timings of food being brought to the table was poor and mis-timed. One of our mains was given to another table, so we had to wait longer; meanwhile the other main was left to go cold, and resulted in us eating at different times to each other; not the dining experience we wanted. We were given an excuse of new wait staff being the issue, and were surprised to hear the use of vulgar language as part of the explanation, something that was completely unnecessary. They offered a discount off our bill for one of the meals for our inconvenience, for which we were grateful, but we won't be visiting again.

Fantastic food and service. Very welcoming, staff were very attentive and there were plenty of staff working too. Food was out and served hot. Tasted lovely too. We sat down at 7pm and ate starters and mains within the hour, great service. Thank you

Absolute 💯 amazing, lovely fresh food. Didn't feel like we were eating a take away. The employees were top notch very welcoming.

The place and the food was amazing. The staff are all really friendly and very good at their job. I would definitely recommend this place. The only thing that let it down and it also let the customers on the table next to us down. It was a family that came in and it was a mother father and an older daughter. In her late 20s. They knew some of the staff there. But they kept on shouting different staff to there table and talking overly loud. I think one of the owners was even called over. I believe his name may be vinnie. All the shouting and over loud shouting in this level of restaurant is shocking. I paid £200 + for a lovely meal for me and my partner to only be ruined by people who think they are special to know the staff in there. At one point the cocktail maker was called over to there table. He was there for 20 min and my cocktails was put on hold until they finished their chat. This should not be allowed. I will go back again to see if the atmosphere is any different. Apart from the everything was perfect

Been wanting to experience Yu's for a very long time, my last visit was over 12 years ago. I have to say it was a brilliant choice. The food was devine, service incredible, special thanks to Nick and Alex who were very professional and detailed, and the other waitresses that were understanding about allergies. The decor of the place and cleanliness was to a high standard including the small details. I would highly recommend the starter of scallops, well presented and super tasty, will definitely be back. The team was that super attentive that my half glass of wine was cleared up whilst I was in the toilets but it was replaced with a smile and we had a laugh about it. Thank you team for a lovely experience, keep up the good work, excited about your new teepee adventure, hope it all goes extremely well. 😊

Second time we’ve been to Yu Copster Green and yet again we cannot fault anything!!! Food is to die for, staff are so lovely and attentive, drinks (cocktails) are amazing also. Definitely one of our favourite Chinese restaurants to eat out at! Thank you for a lovely evening helping us celebrate our wedding anniversary, can’t wait to return.

Had a lovely family meal here last night for my birthday. Food was lovely only thing service in between courses was lacking for example not being asked did we need more drinks, we had to catch staff's attention then it didn't arrive had to ask again. Other than that very nice we will still return maybe a one off as other reviews we read where positive on service.

The nicest place We’ve ever eaten . The food is beautifully presented and absolutely gorgeous also the cocktails were amazing Alex the bar tender was lovely and everyone made us feel so welcome the ambiance of the place and gorgeous food was why we will keep returning to this little gem of a place
