Love this place, staff really helpful, the place is clean and the animals look happy and looked after. Great range of affordable products also.

My cat became very poorly in a very short period of time and two of my local vets could not give me an appointment. Vets4pets Blackburn reception answered the phone within 2mins (unlike the other two) and had no issue in booking me in on the day more importantly the whole reception team was polite. My Vet (Marte) was very patient and reassuring, she explained what how and when she is going to do to treat my cat. Feels like she had made time for me and my grumpy cat rather than me fitting around the practice. The consultation fee paid over the phone also reassured me I was guaranteed the time slot. The store itself is always well stocked and well staffed. Great people at the Blackburn site recommend to anyone in the area, thank you very much for looking after my grumpy boy.

Always great availability with friendly staff . Animals seem looked after in clean environments with nice habitat food and water with stimulating toys etc. Nice to see ! Fish area is well kept and the fish seen healthy and happy

Great place if you keep pets. They stock live animals, fish, rabbits etc. One of the few places in the UK you're allowed to take your dog. Sadly this country is full of dog lovers, but sadly not enough dog lovers to allow as many places as the USA. best bet is just act like an American and try and get away with taking your dog literally EVERYWHERE.... Except maybe a mosque... Love you, love my dog.... Do not get a Belgian Malinois you absolute trollop. Pets at home is not always the cheapest but products are valid. Sadly not enough to cater the K9 type of dog which I happen to own. Bless Allah. The lord really works in mysterious ways. Baffles me at times

Rang to make an appointment for tonight at 5.30pm, but there weren't any available. But due to Lexi's issues I was able to take her down and wait for an available spot for her to be seen. 2 injections to help. So glad I was able to take her down 😊👍

Has the essentials but not the best amount of things in. Staff used to be really friendly but they’re not anymore so makes it awkward to go in. Only go in for convenience

You know what you're getting with Pets at Home. Very friendly service with a large selection of pets products. Also Tropical fish on sale.

Extremely rude and disrespectful staff. Went to look for an item and was told not in stock which felt more like the staff member (woman) couldn't be bothered. Was browsing for other products and what do you know the item was in stock on shelf right in front near the cashier. Never seen such a sad moody shop ironic for pet lovers!

As a General manager in automotive aftersales I understand the importance of a customer centric culture. Today we met a young girl called Becky, she was serving customers at the checkout, she was exceptional in all aspects above and beyond her job description. Displaying good customer engagement, Product knowledge, problem solving, patience, full insight of discount & promotions, App functions and even upselling. She’s a real asset for Pets at home, well done.

Love pets at home in Blackburn. The staff are super friendly and professional. It's obvious they get lots of training. Their customer service is excellent, something you don't see enough these days. Great job, guys! 🙂

Unfortunately you always have to wait in line for a while as the till staff are also advisors and spend time assisting the current customer while you wait in line behind them leading to extended wait times.

Very well stocked. More so than the Capitol Centre and Clitheroe branches in my opinion

Have ordered 2 times from pets at home for delivery. Both times have not received my item on time even tho paid extra to make sure it comes on the day that would be able to receive it. First said delayed and then reschedule for the next day and not even as a home delivery but as pick up from another shop. Very disappointed as I was counting on the delivery as my cats had no more litter that I could refill for them.

Looking for new cat stuff.. would be nice if there was info about things in the store- what are the size dimensions of cat carriers-features and benefits .. not just a load of very similar looking products with almost no info but the price. (Same w litter trays) They have an "eco" range from Beco of recycled plastic things, but only 1 bowl. Ev thing else not available, but they only do 1 other bit for cats (also available from Aldi if you're lucky). A few more Beco bits for dogs but otherwise its a plastic hell-hole. Even all the cat toys appear to be plastic/ polypropylene, so my cat can ingest all of that as she tears it up. So I've made my own out of coir. Winner.
