To the absolute moron with the purple hair who thinks he owns Argos, 30 minutes you and your sidekick was arguing with me telling me I couldn’t return a controller that wasn’t working that I bought less then 24 hours prior telling me there’s nothing you could do about it. I went to Blackburn Argos and they exchanged without even a question asked. Sort your hair out, drop the tongue piercing and you might actually get laid and have at least a half decent smile and attitude for your customers 30years+ overweight and rude isn’t a good look! There was absolutely no need to treat me the way you did or was it because it was almost closing time and you couldn’t be bothered to waddle yourself to get a new controller absolutely ridiculous!!!!

1 star is far too much Customer service 0 Returned a Logitech Steering wheel that I had for 3 days as I didn’t like the product the blue haired manager refused return as it had “a speck of talcum powder on the plastic” Same manager again I Tried to return some faulty AirPods for a new pair and was refused as “they have been taken out the packaging” I wasn’t aware that you could telekinetically try and test items to later be re assured by the insurance company that deals with Argos’ claims that they was in fact faulty and that regardless to taking them out the packaging they were under Argos care The Blue haired fella seems to think it’s more a power play I’ve got what you want/need scenario with the smug attitude he carries aswell as the snide smirk he gives. will be travelling out my way to Blackburn for future reference

One star is overstretching the level of service I and others received! God help you if you get a faulty product, made to feel like your not telling the truth! Not sure the guy in this place even gives two tosses about your statutory consumer rights. Argos as gone down hill totally. Makes me realise why the high street is dead!

Was waiting longer than needed, whilst others came in after me and pretty much picked up straight away. Not only that, but guy that served me had an attitude, told him that I'd paid for a bag, so he took little care in putting product in a bag. All the while, slack jawed, was chewing gum. Spent a decade working retail, would've been sacked if I'd acted like that

Poor customer service.. Short old lady should be working at airport customs control with the way she inspects returns. Literally looking for anything to refuse a return. Would rather travel to blackburn than see these incompetent “staff”

Read the other comments… Adrian is one of the worst people I have ever met, let alone in a professional environment. He is a complete liability to such a reputable company. He should be relieved of his duties as soon as possible.

Awful customer service. I attempted to return a hoover that I’d had a few months that was faulty. I wish I’d never bothered, all I was greeted with was rudeness and an attitude problem by the manager Adrian, and the small blonde lady who was like his second in command, a proper jobsworth she was. He didn’t want to listen to anything I had to say, claimed he had tested the item out which I didn’t actually see, and if so it was only for a couple of minutes. He made me feel like I was a liar and was doing something wrong. He offered no resolution to any of the problems. There was visible damage on the charger which had bare wires that could’ve caused harm and when I requested a new charger he claimed it was ‘accidental damage’ despite the fact the charger was used scarcely and only to serve its purpose. Offered no help at all and all he seemed to be bothered about was arguing the toss with me about the situation, and how he couldn’t do anything about it despite the fact it was under warranty still. The reason I took it back in the first place was because customer services had told me to! Despite all this I took it to the Blackburn store the next day and had a replacement within 5 minutes, they didn’t even test the product. Adrian is a pathetic excuse of a manager, he should be relieved of his duties immediately and whilst he his still there I shan’t be returning to the store under any circumstances.

Packaging damaged after Travelleing to pick up as my local stores are now in Sainsbury's with no stock ever! Why close 2 stores within 10 miles of one another :(

Anyone else noticed that a lot of their stock is unavailable just wondering if they are closing the high street shops and moving them into Sainsbury's to save rent.

Visited our Accrington branch to purchase a printer which we had reserved online. Got to the counter after queueing to be told that if we weren't paying cash we would have to go over to the screens for ordering & pay. Asking why we couldn't pay by card some blue/green haired guy abruptly said "you can't, you have to pay on the order screens" again asking why we were told "because you can only pay cash here" even though they had just served previous customer with card machine. Certainly not waiting in the queue again so took our custom to the Blackburn branch. What a difference in customer service. 5stars Blackburn

I googlised this shop on the Internet to find it's location and my Google maps worked a treat. My friend Ben is looking for a dog crate and is very much looking forward to meeting your wonderful team and using your fabulous facilities.

Shame I can't put zero stars because the service here is absolutely terrible I bought a Remington hair shaver that broke after 8 months of use (so still under the 12 month warranty) and tried to take it back for a replacement Admittedly I didn't have my email with the collection number, however I did have proof of purchase from my PayPal account which I showed to the manager He told me that he wouldn't be able to give a replacement without my email confirmation but if I rang Remington up for a "fault reference" number they would be able to replace it Came back a couple of days later with the fault reference number from Remington and the same store manager said I can't have a replacement It's absolutely scandalous that he wouldn't give me a replacement when I had done everything that was asked The manager at this store is not fit to be a manager and is power hungry What makes the Accrington store worse including the manager is that my wife had a similar situation with a faulty product and he wouldn't replace that either! But... And this is where it get even more ridiculous; she took the same product to the Blackburn store and they replaced it straight away with no questions asked I've spent a lot of money at Argos over the but it will never shop at Argos again Hopefully someone who actually cares will read this and sort it out or at the very least go and sort the Accrington store out

Awful customer service 0 stars should be an option for this store. I bought a drone and took it back because it was faulty only been out the box 2 days, took it back at the first opportunity. I demonstrated the fault to the manager who just fobbed me of with a tech help line. He was in no way helpful or even sympathetic to the issues having spent 100s on this product. I said to him over the 14 day refund policy. He said nope. How this man got a managerial position is beyond me. Not happy with my treatment and knowing he was wrong in fobbing me off I drove straight to the Blackburn store where they exchanged it no questions asked.i Will visit Accrington again only to get his name and log an official complaint to argos customer services...

I bought hair straightener from Argos which was faulty ( it wasn't switching off after 1h ) i went to the store to replace it however I have been told that it has to be tested first which is understandable. After 1 h I rang back to the store and have been told that straightener is switching off and everything is ok. I came back home , plugged the straightener in ( switching button was off ) and it started working really loud and warming up - it wasn't like this before. When I rang back to the store the manager Adrian was rather focused at the point that I should always turn it off after using it as they are the health and safety rules which I should follow at home rather than how to help with my issue. I have tried to explain that I rang because of faulty product rather advice but all I have heard is that if it was checked it should work but I can bring it again and they will test it again. After this long and unpleasant conversation I decided I will go somewhere else where staff and management are more professional and qualified. I went to Blackburn and the man who tested straightener picked the issue straight away and exchanged for another one. That's a shame I couldn't get this level of service in my local store. I am highly disappointed on every possible way

Nice and easy Argos to use but parking is very restricted outside the store. Item easy to order on line and was presented by staff pretty quickly. Service is good. The only downside is the location if you need to have a place to park to collect heavy or bulky items.

Loved the service! Was feeling super down and the worker serving me gave me an amazing motivational speech! He also gifted me with a free toaster! Can't wait to use it tomorrow in the bath tub.

I bought an Actifry from Argos over a year ago. It has now stopped working. I do have manufacturing warranty however I moved house last year and can't find my receipt for it to be repaired. I rang the store and spoke to a lovely lady called Sophie. She was brilliant!! She found my receipt and emailed it straight over to me. So now I'm able to get my Actifry repaired. She was so helpful from the start!!! Fantastic customer service! Thanks again Sophie!

We bought two floor standing lamps with a double head. When coming to change the bulbs, they are unchangeable, making the whole unit scrap! This is totally unacceptable in this day and age. We will no longer buy lamps from Argos.

Been to this Argos today due to the app not working and was helped by Reece. Got to say Reece was the most helpful, cheerful, and nice store worker I’ve ever meet. His customer service was excellent and he went above and beyond to help me with my 12 month plan. Thank you Reece Argos should be proud to have an employee like you

Worst store I've ever been to. Couldn't believe it when I went to return a faulty item which I purchased a few day ago. The staff literally plugged the item in for 5 minutes and refused the return saying that it works fine. This was a electric hand mixer BTW.. which was overheating and letting of a burning smell when it was constantly being used. My wife is a baker so she uses this quite frequently. Staff need sacking... dont deserve to be in customer related positions.
