Just getting round to writing this after being poorly during the night and all morning. Never tasted food like it ever. I’m saying food, but it wasn’t fit for a human. More oil than anything, food was bland, service was silence, couldn’t wait for the taxi to hurry up cause the smell was making me feel poorly. I give honest reviews so I’m mot gonna lie, the one star is only cause I have to put a star. Wasn’t clean, food wasnt nice. Tap water was ok though. Won’t be returning.

when i was 3, my dad took me to the shop and i loved it 😍 been going every day since and im 63 now the food was very nice but sometimes its a bit too good because its almost got me in debt much thanks for this wonderful restaurant and the customer service is very good if i could give 10 stars i would

Update - Jan 2022 I did try some food but regrettably it didn’t live up to expectations. The lamb keema and chicken mix was tasty, well spiced and could easily be mistaken for home cooked food. However the achari chicken was bland and not what you’d expect from here. It tasted like it was parboiled chicken dropped into an Anglo-Indian cooking sauce. If you do try the food perhaps it’s best to order a few dishes as they seem hit or miss I’ve not tried the food from here but heard it’s good. I did however go for a couple of cups of desi (traditional Asian) tea. Service was quick, friendly and accurate by all accounts. Would recommend for a bite or simply a place to enjoy some time with friends.

We order takeaway from here every few weeks. Myself, my wife and the kids all love their food. Brilliant lamb curries, massive portion of amazing chips, great salad and mint chutney. Frickin awesome! Plus, great customer service, great prices and delivery.

If you are looking for a Dhabba style food like Lahore. This is the right place. It is a long wait after order placement always and that is because restaurant stays busy which is anyhow acceptable. So, place your order on phone, if to be picked up, well before time. Atmosphere is like you are sitting somewhere in Lahore and this is what I loved.

Ordered Vegetable Samosas on the 08. 01.23 - the most inedible portion I have ever had, unfortunately had to go in the bin. Not sure how you can get vegetable samosas wrong but the numpties at SHANDAR did, chips were not to standard either.

Re-reviewed - Easily the best Dhaba style Ghosht-Roti (the Chai was beaten by 'Chai Paani.') I believe they've renovated their once awful toileting facilities.

Stayed in blackburn for the first time. Found this place on google. Delivery was quick and easy. Food was amazing, ordered a lamb karai, samosas and chips, was pipping hot. I am missing there food its too far to travel. I will definitely go again sometime just for this place.

Next best thing to home cooking its the closest you will ever get i go from Manchester to preston to do work on my properties and when we finish in the evening we alway go to Blackburn for a meal the take away don't look all that fancy but the food is tasty

Regular customer but since recently thisbplace has seriously gone down hill. The service is non existant, you are waiting tobbe served but they answer the phone first. The food was literally watered down the ladt few times. There are many other outlets that are much better so won't be using this again.
