    Absolutely disgusting, vile together with the Darwen Services McDonald's Staff, thats took over an hour to answer the phone and then proceeded to put the phone down on me. Food hygiene course need to be taken again together with retraining or unprofessional staff.

    This particular restaurant has gotten worse and worst as time goes on. I don't think I've ever once driven away from here without something missing from my order. And sauces are never in the bag. This is a basic cost cutter exercise knowing full well that a lot of people won't challenge it over a 99p burger here or a fries there. The management needs to get a grip! Would not recommend, at least for click'n'collect or drive thru or just eat. Always check your stuff before you leave!

    It's quick and easy at McDonald's as we all know. Staff are unenthusiastic and cleanliness is adequate. The burgers never look like the pictures they advertise. My big mac for instance looked as though it had been sat on.

    My order was wrong twice and was made to feel like i was lying when I told them both times that it was wrong. Service was very unorganised and wasn’t helpful at all. Ridiculous

    Absolutely horrible sat at the ordering station in the drive thru took them five minutes to serve me then I got to the paying window the woman was sat at a stupid computer knowing i was there because she looked at me and didn’t serve us until 5 minutes by the time we got to the last window the food wasn’t even in the bag ready for us….. And that made me late for work pure ignorance🙄

    Sraff how does not know how to read, poorly educated and very RACIST! That's the level of hiring of the manager in this McDonald's? If he sees or hears that you are a stranger, he practically throws away your food and does not even say hello! Why don't you see too many foreign employees here? And if you see one, is he very withdrawn because nobody talks to him? Kind of like mobing... Individuals of color or pachistane are called indigenous. Is that normal? In 2021 I THAT IT'S RACISM? IF YOU ARE FRUSTRATED PLEASE DO NOT WORK HERE. Special the girl int this photo it's very rude!

    I choose fast food because I was short of time, so grab McDonald's. So slow, paid and then waited then asked to move to 2nd window after some time window opens and asked to pull into a waiting bay then some more waiting all this time my brew was getting cold, it would have been nice to have hot food and brew at same time, if I drink the coffee before it's cold, I probably won't enjoy my hot food as much. I know it's no big deal really just very frustrating, it's probably better to use the just eat app as the drivers were in and out with constant regularity.. To be fair my food arrived nice and hot. But the overall experience was disappointing.

    The pancakes were rock solid and the cutlery inadequate to break through them. Not sure how pancakes can be so solid. Ended up in bin as had already left. Hash brown and sausage were ok.

    Went through the Drive Through for my daughter and granddaughter. Service was good. Can't say much else as I was just the driver, so further comments aren't relevant.

    Never had a McDonalds in my life thought id give it a try. Never again, fries were cold, happy meal was cold and had no sauce inside just smeared around edge of the burger, no milkshakes left, was given a tea not offer any milk or sugar. Lettuce on burger was not fresh, if this is their standard I'm not missing much.

    Hello. We are from Darwen. We can't order McDonald's because these nutty have turned off the machine...they don't like work. Today is Sunday. KFC and Livsey branch McDonald's is open...but these nutty have just turned off Just Eat. They weren't ashamed to do this ..

    Employee, young, white gentleman with a lean frame supposed to be manning the tills walked past me and ignored me as first in line in the queue - which I have never seen in my life. Debbie had to cover for him. Someone who arrived later than me was then served before me since staff had NO awareness of the queue situation - again, shocking*. A gentleman in line confirmed I was not served properly in line. So called 'Customer Service' Assistant 'Debbie' refused to provide the staff member's name who had ignored me and then made paltry attempt to hide her own name badge, stating with full confidence that she was prohibited from sharing this information. Shocking and appalling service. Staff in urgent need of Customer Service training. Won't be back.

    Just ordered via uber from these, and the order has arrived with 1 missing happy meal, 2 happy meals have no burgers in them, and all 4 meals have the drinks missings and as usual the sauces are missing. Either the uber driver is a thief or the staff here are just stupid.

    Cheeseburger meals x 4 on Sun 28/8/2022. Not even worth 1* Cold, dry,, tasteless and thrown together. 8 - 10 hours later I was vomiting with diahorrea. So disappointing. It was our first, highly anticipated, visit since 2020 and it was disastrous. Staff need an overhaul on food hygiene, preparation.and customer service. Darwen branch is a disgrace - never again.

    Slow service through the drive through tonight, burger buns tasted a bit stale and the burgers themselves were obviously thrown together. Not sure why I expect things to be better. I live I hope I guess. Adequate. Nothing more.

    Food to usual standard you expect from McDonald's but be careful where you sit. Certain tables are reserved for delivery drivers only but this is not made clear to the general public until you sit there in error. If you do beware as I accidentally made this mistake and was (rather rudely) told by the "customer care" colleague on duty that I needed to move. Her attitude was such that I will NOT be returning to this restaurant any time soon. Thankfully this is not my local McDonald's so my kids won't miss out of the occasional Big Mac

    I visited this McDonald's on Sunday the 21st of August. The first warning should have been that my wife's plain quarter pounder pate was missing a piece about the size of a 50pence piece. It was taken back and a new fresh burger was supplied. For my self it was a different story. I has a double 1/4lb-er and after about 24 hours I was burping the foulest smelling and tasting burps I have ever experienced. It literally felt like something had rotted in my stomach and there was nothing I could do about it. Not long after I had water diarrhea for the next 2 days. I could not eat anything and found myself sipping boiled water for the duration. This restaurant had given me food poisoning. At a guess the lettuce has been known at some McDonald's to be contaminated with salmonella. I knew it was here as this was the only thing I had different to eat from my partner the entire day. This restaurant is a disgrace to the McDonald's name and I really feel like I will find it extremely difficult to eat another McDonald's in the future if not ever again.

    Far too busy and no where near the fast food experience it used to be. During covid, some staff not wearing masks properly. Many taxi drivers collecting delivery orders not wearing masks or following hygiene routines. No room for social distancing. Huge que of cars for the drive through all the way to the roundabout by Alan shearer way. Dealing with covid, deliveries, drive-through and walk in customers is too much to deal with safely during the covid pandemic. And the que of cars is obstructive for those visiting Aldi and Iceland. As well as causing congestion at the roundabout by Alan shearer way.

    I use this service facility quite a lot due to work, whether it be for food or bathroom breaks. Always clean, with friendly staff. But I must remember the very nice manager at the Shell fuel station. A really nice, friendly guy.

    Not personally a massive fan of burgers but the staff here excel. Friendly rapid service and food was quite tasty. Drive through was very well organized.

    Missing food, condiments and straws for the drinks from delivery order. Called up to be told rather rudely its was nothing to do with them and to call uber eats for a refund even though it was their wrong doing... on top of that the food was stone cold when arrived!! Needless to sat we aren't happy with the staff or products this time round

    Used for a quick hot drink via the in app ordering and the click and serve service (where your order is brought to your car). This is a great option to avoid all the hustle and bustle in store and service seemed to be fairly quick. Would most probably recomend... hot drinks are cheap and fairly reasonable quality and the click and serve option is a bonus.
