Unable to give Zero stars. The staff were offensively impolite and bad-mannered. They were lacking knowledge or awareness in general; (uneducated or unsophisticated). They were discriminatory, refusing to serve my wife due to her disability. She was told that she was stupid! Outrageous! They refused to listen to our explanation of her needs. As a result we were unable to make a purchase. They should ensure that they comply with all relevant LEGAL OBLIGATIONS AND GUIDANCE, INCLUDING ON EQUALITIES.

The best jewellers in this area they hsve been looking after my 2 dimond rings and i know they are in safe hands plus they only sell quality items Thank you

Beautiful little jewellers. Took my white gold engagement ring in for polishing and reshaping and has come up like new. Lovely, friendly and helpful people and great prices too. Very Happy. Ring looks amazing. Highly recommended

My First and Last visit here, they dont/won't guarantee the work on Re sizing a ring if its not been bought by them or if its been used and bought from another jeweller. The older woman gave a ridiculous example of why my ring wouldn't be guaranteed I came in with 2 rings, at 1st they said it could be re sized once with no problems, anything more then 1 size, would be risking the diamonds popping out. Then I asked if my rings would come with a 12 month guarantee or warranty. They said they do not offer that on anything second hand as they called my rings. I found the older woman to be extremely rude, the younger lady didn't really have much to say. On your website it say (No Job too small. Where possible we guarantee all repair work) also going on about you being competitive in all repairs) I should still have consumer rights, in case any diamonds were to come out of the ring. They said once the ring left the premises my ring is not guaranteed should a diamond fall out. I left with my rings, even though us consumers have rights, regardless of what she was saying. I left with my RINGS, regardless of my CONSUMER RIGHTS, because your Staff are RUDE. Why would I leave anything with your shop???? I won't be back so No need to respond back. All you do is defend your Staff, rather than address Rude staff, as per your other replies on here. Ps: if you was actually knowledgeable, you would know that any service your shop offers or undertakes, still gives consumer rights to every customer, nothing to do with the original jeweller! You are just a shoddy jeweller.

Just a quick review of this little gem of a jewellery store… you can tell from the minute you walk In that your in an honest store with knowledgable staff. I needed a repair completing a little bit complex because of the nature of the stone. But I was put at ease that they would take the best care possible of a delicate piece. Yes it took some time and it had to be sent away, but to say I’m thrilled with the repair is an understatement..and it was really reasonably priced. Thank you so much, I shall be back for any jewellery needs 😊

Mark, no offence but are you sure your reviewing Peters jewellery in Burnley. visited on Friday for some advice, and found the staff to be very friendly, professional and had a fantastic and wide ranging knowledge. The little store has been there for what seems years and years and I am sure if their customer service was so poor they would not have survived so long. No Pressure to buy just good sound advice. I didn't buy anything on this visit but left with a smile and some brilliant advice. Thanks

A Lovely jewellers which I have used for many years. With the best quality 2nd hand stock, along with real gold & real silver, unlike these new-age jewellers that sell stuff which is mostly plated. I know what I buy from Peters will last & be passed down.

Never had problem with this jewellers before but I left my ring for estimate for repair was quoted £70 went to pick it up they said £90 I questioned the price as I was told different was told the person wouldn't have quoted one price and wrote down another so it was my word against their's so they knocked £10 off not happy to say the least so I suggest anyone getting a quote get it in writing or email.

What a super little Jewellers. The lady who owns it will do her best to source what you are looking for. She has some thing for every price range. Really nice and unusual pieces. The diamond jewellry is really good value and again unique. Superb friendly service too.

Disappointing. I spoke to two people on Facebook from Peters Jewellers both of which were pleasant. I went in store to have a ring altered and i was looking for a professional valuation. The Lady seemed rushed to take the ring from me to have it changed. I asked for her quick opinion on how much she thought it was. I was not satisfied with the answer she gave me, as I had an idea of its true value. I took it to a different jewellers and they told me it was worth 2 and a half times than the quote from Peters Jewellers. I had it professionally valued with them. Lo and behold the jewellers i took it to were spot on. Will not use Peters Jewellers again.
