8am the surgery is suppose to open. Calling the surgery is no use the line is busy not switch board busy just leave the phone on the side busy. The surgery gets fully booked at 8:30am. At the end you get no slot to get checked. Bringing Great Harwood on aswell made them more useless. No body has a clue of what they are doing. From the receptionist till the so called Doctor that sits there is just doing Zero... There is no good doctor in Accrington... All are time wasting Happy Meal Certificate Holders. Shame on all of them. You should slap yourself 10 times and count it as one.

Absolutely shocking, being trying to get an appointment to sort out my prescription for 3 weeks. Attitude of staff is appalling, one missheard me when i called and told me i was registered there but was looking for a Tyler when my name is Tara, instead of apologizing told me she xouldn't understand my werid accent, i'm from the north east. Apprently this doctors your not able to make an appointment in advance because they don't know which doctor is foinf to be in when. So for the past 3 weeks i had had to ring up on my days off or late start to ser if i can get an appointment only to be told everyone time that there isn't any canceled that day, i'll be put on a list. But apparently when they do call you later then day with an appointment it at a different doctors and you get attitude when you explain your can't make a 7:30pm appointment because your traveling. Staff are rude, argumentative amd unsympathetic. when i explained i coyldn't make that appointment wa there anything else i was again offered it in another area i had no heard of for Monday. I had to explain i had to give notice to work to arrange cover monday was to so, this annoyed them as apparently making me travel to another area is them trying to help. Text alerts don't even give you right times of your aappointment and when you phone to eenquire there not helpful insisting you attend at the time stated which is not the time you booked. 3 weeka i have being trying to get my prescription, in a hug amount of pain without it and no futher forward bwcauae apparently the doctor that may or may not turn up that day want to review it. Mad a formal complaint to govering body and trying to find another local doctors to sort out my prescription. Awful place on gave 1 star cause 0 was not an option

Absolutely disgusted, l took an insurance form into the practice as my husband had an accident at work. This was 4 weeks ago and all the doctor had to write was fractured neck of femur resulting in a total hip replacement. I have Called in twice and rang around 8 times ,each time the receptionist said she would chase it up. I think this doctor should hang his head in shame. Needless to say I will have to collect this empty form myself

Nearly impossible to make an appointment , when i finally managed to get through to the receptionist to book an appointment I was told they were all booked up and that they had to transfere me over to Accrington palls medical centre for an appointment for Saturday even though it is shut . I find it is pretty much a joke.

The manager that runs it’s on all negative comments about this poor run doctors you ask for us to ring u to speak to u how can we wen all the appoints are book up eh I’ve had a lump on my side of my belly now doctors seen me and been four months and still no letter from you cause it was suppose to be seen done in surgery My blood pressure been sky high where I’m having nose bleeds mention it to receptions and there attitude stinks really need to do a course in customer service and still not put on list to see doctor Had shoulder pain tried to get in no joys this surgery only has two doctors on constantly on phone from eight put in que either three or four and still can’t get in to see someone Higher more staff or shut the place down No wonder people die from cancer or heart problems because they can’t get in full stop

Stopped sending perscripton to chemists .on for life have to pick up. Work nights so have to make trips that not warrented and unecessasery. Lazy , bone idle staff

Never any appointments available - receptionists not helpful at all - spent an hour and 40 minutes on hold waiting to get my test results - absolute joke of a place - another example of NHS going down the pan

Absolute rubbish the reception are stuck up talk down to you. Never give you an appointment when you need it. No point ringing at 8 in the morning because it's always engaged when finally you get to position 1 they cut you off. I am looking at changing my doctor.

first off the receptionists and nurses are fantastic but the doctor is an absolute joke. he is the most ignorant man it's been my displeasure to meet, no point having an appointment with him because his over inflated ego wont allow him to listen. I'm always having to chase things up because he never does what he says he will, naproxen and co-codamol don't work so this buffoon recommends paracetamol (already had one knee replaced and the other is knackered). my partners meds were constantly wrong so she changed practices as she was sick of having to chase them up every single time. do yourselves a favour and steer clear of this place until they get a new more competent doctor.

Rude receptionist you got more chance of winning the lottery than booking an appointment ring at 8am get through at 8.20am all appointments gone say they always busy but when you go inside theirs no patience at all just the receptionist and doctors busy chatting away 0 stars they should be investigated am sure am not the only one who feels this way its a shame the main doctor mutepali is really good.

Receptionist seem to think there a doctor write on medical records, consistently chasing for repeat prescriptions

worst doctors i have ever been to all the doctor says is what do you want me to do! can't hardly understand him and he is defo more concerned about money than his patients welfare stay well away

Everyone is quick to leave negative reviews but I've only experienced good things from the surgery, hopefully I don't need to return any time soon but both the reception team and nurses I have dealt with have been excellent! Thanks *EDIT* I Still stand by the nurses being great, the doctor however is a complete melt who can't speak any English and gets offended when you ask him to repeat what he just said, waste of time, will give you pills for the ease of getting you off the phone. AVOID!

Why am I being given medical advice by the receptionists? It's bad enough that the receptionists are really condescending but to then give medical advice based on their own opinions and without any medical expertise just takes the cake. There are people who have left reviews here praising the receptionists and slating the doctor. Let me educate you all a little, it's the doctors that put themselves through years of debt and medical school to then be able to help people. The receptionists are paid to have a courteous telephone manner so that you all can tell them about your ailments but they can't even get that right. Do yourselves a favour if you know what's right for you - find another medical practice.

I have been at this surgery for years and wouldn't want to go anywhere else. The receptionists are nice especially pauline. You need to remember the receptionists get most of the abuse and its not acceptable and they cannot tell the doctors how to do their job. If you want to take it out on anyone try the goverment they are responsible for over working gps its not just patients they have to do paper work hospital letters home visits. The doctors are under a lot of pressure and trying their best no doctor should be aggressive but there is a complaints procedure and a choice of going to another practice. You will find all doctors are going through the same stress.

What an awful experience. Dr M. L. N. Motupalli one of the worst doctors I could have come across. Doesn’t care about your needs or your problems. He gets angry and aggressive towards you making you feel that your problems aren’t serious. I do not recommend this surgery and avoid at all costs.
