If you want to throw rubbish in a skip & you can manage to navigate the badly parked cars & skip full don’t use signs then great. But if you need help or advice then I would suggest talking to a small stuffed a animal as you will get a more professional response. As for help - don’t expect it and you will not be disappointed. How Trading Standards allowed them to keep there “Happy To Help” slogan I will never know. The staff are rude, unhelpful, condescending and terrible at there jobs. The older bloke working there has never in all the times I have been using the place done a minutes work. Pathetic little man who try’s to do little to nothing while people struggle. SITA check your CCTV & sack the lot. It would be better without them

I visited this centre first time as it was nearest to a friend's house clearance. I used Google Maps to locate & find. I nearly turned back round as it isn't very clearly signposted on the Main Rd near the entrance as you drive up the hill it's 3/4 up on the right, opposite was wasteland, but if was coming down the hill, you would see the signage at the entrance. On e there it is towards the the right side as you drive into the site, not many containers but you are able to recycle the more popular item's from our homes 😀. I used the bottle/cans & non recycling waste, paper/cardboard also there's wood/clothes etc. It was very good. A couple of staff were present to help.

Straight in, they allow for plenty of cars. Really easy to do. Free to use aslong as you're in a car.

Arrived on-site to drop some asbestos sheets off. Eventually found a staff member sat at the back of an office. Explained what I had he walked past me down the yard and walked back up and pointed at a skip grunting the “doors open” and went back to his shed. Not very helpful to me or the woman dropping cans off.

Great. Full selection of waste receptacles, easy signposted. Really helpful staff on hand to answer any questions. 👍

Used to be okay but today a very elderly couple were there and clearly.struggling, over walked one bearded employee and walked straight past them, I ended up helping them and even I am disabled. Lazy

So I have just loaded the car checked it was open Google says till 5pm I get there at 20 to 5 and its shut. I am frustrated with this as clearly the staff are shutting up for a early finish. It's a joke the people who are working at this tip including the manager Gary. If his name is even Gary
