Although it's further to travel to, I always use this post office rather than the town centre one. Nice and friendly without the hard sell pestering and intrusive questions that you get at the Abbey St branch.

I travel to this Post Office from Oswaldtwistle(I could to to at least 4 other Post Offices that are nearer) because they are always very helpful and very friendly and that it what Customer Service is all about and that's why I would prefer to go here. Thank you to everyone at Avenue Parade Post Office for doing such a great job in helping and taking care of your customers!

Where have the guys gone that used to work here? They were fantastic! The man working there now is the rudest man ever! Shouting on his phone 100% of the time and doesn’t speak to you even when serving you. Shocking service!

Always been my local post office, and always been great. Friendly, helpful, funny at times and always try to give you the best service possible. Good selection of goods on offer and a free cash machine, all you can ask for really. Hope it continues to serve the local community for many years to come.

Well, how rude is the small man that either owns it or works there, always on his phone when trying to serve customers speaking at the top of his voice, when I asked him to concentrate on customers and come of the phone he was not a happy man a completely utterly rude person, needless to say I will never cross the doorstep again. Whatever happened to customer service.

I asked my husband to take a package and post it for me, I measured and weighed it before he went it was absolutely no doubt it was a large letter 1st class £1.50, they charged my husband £3.55 small parcel, this isn't the first time that's why I started measuring and weighing them before I took them, daylight robbery, won't be using them again, if I could give a minus star I would

Great post office. No messing around here, the guys are very efficient and friendly and the opening hours are very good. Often there is little to no queue so you can be in and out in no time. Such a better experience than the branch in the town centre which is another story altogether!

Rude owner was on his phone the entire time and sent my parcel via the wrong service which is now causing major headaches and then threw my box into a pile rather than placing it with any level of care and respect, despite fragile being written on the box. Will definitely never use this post office again. Shop didn’t look great either - In major disrepair, half of the shelves empty, stock all over the floor. Wouldn’t trust eating anything from there.

Best Post Office in Accrington nice and friendly every time I go in I just live 2 minutes away from the post office which is easy for me

My daughter tried to open an ISA account with the Post Office. After checking that we could go to the post office to have her ID checked and signed by a Post Office official, the first Post Office said they couldn't do it there. We then went to a bigger Post Office and they said they couldn't do it there either unless we paid £12.65 (even though it had Savings Account ID verification for free stated on their branch details). Why would she want to pay to open an account so she can put her money in !!! We then rang the Post Office helpline who couldn't confirm which Post Office we could go to get her ID documentation verified and signed. What a waste of a Saturday morning. Needless to say we turned around and closed our application. Even if you go for a headline rate you expect some level of service and we were completely let down.

Always quick and easy service, with helpful and pleasant staff. Ample parking right beside.
