  I’m giving our council 5 stars, as every time I’ve spoke to anyone either on the phone , at the reception or by email. They’ve all been very helpful , lovely to deal with. A lovely receptionist helped set my direct debit up for the council tax and couldn’t do enough for me. Even reading my card for me as I’d forgotten my reading glasses. Keep up the good work, your all doing a fab job.

  Would give HBC 10 stars, if it was possible! Had the pleasure of spending my internship away from school, here and it was brilliant! Every member of staff was extremely helpful, from the moment I came in and I had the pleasure of learning a load of stuff about local politics and how it all works. A huge special thanks to the Member Services department who gave me lots of jobs to do and made me feel like I'd been part of the team for years. Highly recommended for anyone looking to do some work experience :)

  Called in to provide info to support my 92 yr mums housing benefit claim. They won't see public at counter and refused to take copies. Not helpful and left us stressed.

  Council tax department are useless. Quick enough to bill you extra for no reason but nowhere to be seen to resolve it. Numerous emails and calls but nothing communication from them at all...

  Wow, unbelievable due to Hyndburn Councils ineptitude I have a debters letter for council tax payment which has already been paid. This is disgusting service! To try and solve this issue you can’t get through no matter which way I try!!

  Rang for hours no answer, just a recorded message repeating over and over again, this is a disgrace, Hyndburn Borough Council need to pull their fingers out and start serving the public.

  Hi, I don't know what do we pay for in every month. People working in there are not helpfull. Roads in Accrington are in horrible condition, but they want more money from us in every year. The question is: do we really need council like this one?

  Useless. Rang up to pay council tax and find out bin day. Waited 15mins for a human who said she can part me through to payments. Told me bin day. Cut me off. Cheers
