Alex is incredible. If anyone asked me for advice or recommendations on planning a wedding, the first thing I will be saying is “book Alex Birtwell!” Alex single handedly took what was an already amazing day to the next level - not just for us but also every single guest. It’s impossible not to have fun when Alex Birtwell is at your wedding! Since our wedding, we’ve had so many compliments from guests about him (on his singing, music, the energy he brought in ways they’d never seen before and also him as a person). Alex engaged with guests on the day and kept us both calm. He was also extremely professional, responsive and easy to deal with throughout the whole planning process, despite us having to move the wedding date twice. He even staying longer on the night to make up for some of the earlier timings getting delayed (our fault, not his) which shows his priorities are making the wedding a day/night to remember. What a fantastic day! We had always envisioned our wedding day as just one huge party from start to finish with all our friends and family up and having a good time, and our wedding was exactly that. We had Alex throughout the day till our first dance. He knew exactly how to play out the day. There was none of this ‘forced fun’, and Alex worked off the energy of our guests. We had so many comments about how great Alex was from all our friends and family, and we are both so happy with how our wedding day went, and can honestly say it was more than we could have imagined and one that our guests would never forget.

Alex and the team were absolutely fantastic, from the moment we saw you in Krakow at our friends wedding we knew you had to be part of ours. It speaks volumes when we moved our wedding date back a week to have Alex perform at our wedding, as we had just seen him at our friends wedding and knew we had to have him! We had Alex all day during our wedding on 9th June 23, and from start to finish he was absolutely amazing! He did a live set during our ceremony, sang during the cocktail hour and even made a special song up with the groomsmen for my husband, which everyone loved! He also acted as our master of ceremonies played the best games including best photo with the bride and groom and a dance off with our guests followed by songs for everyone to sing to get our guests ramped up ready to party! Particularly loved the change of lyric from “Stacey’s mom” to “Hazels moms got it going on” absolutely fantastic! The party really started from then on! He then performed an acoustic version of Blink 182 First Date for our first dance and then the band kicked in, our dance floor was heaving from the start of their performance to the very end. Lewis’ DJ sets in between the bands performing were perfect, we had said we love dance music and he smashed it. Alex and all his band mates are so incredibly talented, all our guests were absolutely blown away and we have received so many compliments about them. He really did make our wedding absolutely perfect. And the little video that he posted of our day was the perfect final touch. We honestly can’t thank Alex and the lads enough! I'd give 10 stars if I could! We booked Alex after seeing him at a wedding fayre and loved eveything so much that we actually booked our date around his availability. Super talented, versatile and a true gent. Alex Read the room perfectly and produced all the right vibes exactly when it was needed. All of our guests are talking about how wonderful you were! Alex is absolutely amazing! We changed our wedding date as Alex wasn't available for our original date and it's the best thing we did! Alex provided the best entertainment all day and night, all our guests commented how fantastic and fun he was!

If you want your wedding day to be a party from start to finish, then you need to book Alex. We have just married on Saturday and we're still on a high from the day Alex provided for ourselves and our guests. Everyone is asking where "we found him". We had Alex through the day, hosting and entertaining and then added for his brother to come along at night. Alex went above and beyond.. perfect service from the booking, to planning and even stepping in the day before, providing extra to save me panicking about our music during the ceremony. Your only regret will be not booking Alex!!

We booked Alex after he did both of our closest friends wedding last February. Alex has been incredible from the moment he was booked to the moment he left our wedding. Alex is absolutely fantastic !! He kept our wedding running perfectly from the beginning right until the end , we couldn’t have asked for more , it was so much fun fun fun!!! All of our guests have been non stop talking about how good he is and how well our day went having him there with us , keeping them all entertained from the moment they arrived , laughing , smiling, singing and dancing !!! Alex was phenomenal at our wedding. He did exactly what we hoped and more! All our guests where blown away and commented numerous times how much of a brilliant day they where having and how entertaining he was. Then in the evening when Lewis joined him it certainly got the party started. Our day definitely wouldn't have been what it was without them both and if we could do it all again we certainly would! I think it speaks volumes that when we first booked our wedding date ( and then pushed it back by a year) we did it based on Alex’s availability. He had played at a relatives wedding previously and we just knew we needed to have him for our special day. Throughout the whole process leading up to the day, from his easy to use online platform and the face-to-face meet up we were just constantly impressed. Alex just knows people and this is what makes him stand out from the rest. We had Alex all day- he played a live set at the ceremony, 2 live sets after the ceremony during the cocktail hour, acted as Master of Ceremonies during the wedding breakfast, performed our first dance live and did 2 live sets during the evening reception. He is incredibly talented and made the day as special as it was. Our guests were blown away with how amazing and interactive he was with everyone going out of their way to come and tell us how much fun they were having, and he certainly kept us all entertained during the wedding breakfast with a game of Mr and Mrs and a guess the intros game with a wild guest dance off. He even convinced me to get up on stage during the reception to do a small solo of Teenage Dirtbag and I couldn’t say no! The next morning we also received a video from Alex as a keepsake of the moment in the ceremony when we officially became married. He went above and beyond and we were really touched by this. The music aspect of our wedding was the most important thing for me when we started planning our wedding. We were so lucky to have been able to secure Alex for our day. We knew he was the right choice and even at the first meeting we knew he was going to bring the party. He did not disappoint! Alex is a lovely guy, gives amazing advice on what he thinks will and won’t work and he was right every time! He made the day flow in the right way, the music was perfect and he got our guests revved up from the start and they were wanting more even by the end!! He even enabled me to play a song for my wife, something I was very apprehensive about doing yet with him my nerves were gone as he backed me up on his guitar and played with me. Alex is absolutely amazing at what he does. We had Alex for our day time entertainment/wedding host and he performed our first dance live. From the moment we booked Alex he is just a genuine lovely person and made us feel so comfortable. He gave us advice and was always there to answer any questions and give us advice. If your thinking of booking him we couldn’t recommend enough he really did make our day and became one of the guests. Alex certainly brought the entertainment to our wedding wow, the biggest compliment I can pay is that for anyone considering booking their wedding, get in touch with Alex first and make sure he is available on your date as any wedding without him just won't be the same. Alex is very likeable, extremely professional and accomodated us moving dates. He brought so much energy and fun to our wedding and his band in the evening were absolutely epic putting their own unique spin on so many different genres to the point were we both really want to hear them live again, another must for any booking. Paddy on the sax and one of the band on the bongo's were a fantastic combination that brought that 90's clubland feeling to our wedding. So many people have commented since the wedding that ours was the best wedding they have been to and a massive part of that is down to Alex. I can't thank him enough for everything he did to help give us our amazing wedding, if your thinking of booking him stop thinking and get straight in touch with him to book, I guarantee it'll be one of the best decisions you will make for your day.

The perfect day, Alex and his team made the day. From the start, Alex made the day such a fun time. Keeping the guests and us fully entertained, with his amazing voice, funny games and brilliant interaction with everyone. He is the best M.C ever. Honestly don’t think there are words to do Alex justice. His ability to entertain a room is second to none and on top of that he is just the most genuine and nicest person to deal with as well. We had to make several date changes due to covid and Alex supported us the whole way through. Every single guest commented on how excellent he was! The dance floor was never (and I mean ever) empty! WOW!! Where do we even start, Alex made our day absolutely amazing. From the ceremony through the drinks reception and right through the evening. Every guest commented on how amazing he was. One thing we wanted was a fun wedding day and that’s exactly what got and more. We didn’t have to worry about anything. Alex planned our whole day from beginning to end and it was just perfect. We hired Alex for the day and evening of our wedding and it was the perfect choice of singer. Not only does he sing really well, but he keeps the day active and the guests engaged. He is very knowledgeable and was offering bits of advice throughout the day which helped us alot. We asked Alex if he could learn our choice of song for the first dance and he absolutely nailed it. I would 1000% recommend Alex and his team for anyone who is looking in future.

Entertainment is the name, perfection was the game! Alex provided me and my wife with a day we will never forget. The day flowed perfectly without any gaps errors or waiting around. From live singing, to games at the wedding breakfast and dealing with request after request and flowing them into each flawlessly. Alex took into consideration our music choices, wants and the rest of the guests there and tailored the day to that. He catered for every generation of the wedding party from the classic abba etc for the parents and grandparents, to the clubland of the early 2000s and then lots of indie/rock upon ours and our guests requests. Your wedding day is always special for the bride and groom however Alex makes it one that the guests will never stop talking about either. Unbelievable entertainment, great day, highly recommend and any event we have from now Alex will be top of our list!

Absolutely incredible entertainment throughout the day and night of our wedding!! We asked for a party and Alex, Lewis and his whole team delivered on another level. Could not have wished for better entertainment for the wedding, even if my Auntie did slightly harass Alex ... apologies ha! Would recommend over and over again... and would probably plan another party just so Alex can be the entertainment again. If you book Alex and his team you will not be disappointed. Incredible, made our small (covid) wedding absolutely amazing! Complete entertainment from start to finish. Stayed in contact throughout delays due to the pandemic, dates changes, package changed. Absolute professional service. Thanks for everything Alex, you made our wedding day and even Sophies Hen Do so memorable. Even though we only had 15 guest at our wedding you made it feel like an intimate gig with all of our favourite songs and included us all. Amazing!!!!!

We knew Alex had to be involved in our wedding from the first time we heard him play! We then heard Alex with his brother Lewis at a local pub and we knew we had to have both! Alex played all day and Lewis joined at nighttime and they both made the day so perfect! Getting the groomsmen vs bridesmaids singing before the meal was the best ice breaker, to the most hilarious and personal entrance songs right through to assisting with the speech’s, organising the turn over and delivering the best night entertainment - you were both faultless and we cannot thank you enough! Absolutely amazing, outstanding - the best!! Alex had every single person at our wedding up on their feet (during the day!!) having the time of their lives - everybody needs Alex at their wedding. We went to see Alex at a wedding fair and we knew we wanted him straight away. We were so disappointed to find out that Alex wasn’t available for our original wedding date…. So we rearranged our whole wedding day to a date that he was available! If that doesn’t show how much we wanted Alex I don’t know what would! 😬 Alex was amazing from start to finish. He even managed to calm my nerves just before I walked down the isle as he bobbed by the church to say hello and was his usually friendly self. The best advice I can give is, book Alex before everything else. Work everything around him, you will not be disappointed. If Alex wasn’t free till 2030 we’d of waited. Booked Alex in pre covid times, umpteen date changes, last minute song changes. No problem to him at all, ever the gent, a true professional and the very top of his game. His repertoire of songs and styles is second to none. So glad we got this day over the line just never wanted it to end, Alex and Lewis, Jess and I can’t thank you enough for the job you did.
