Was eating a carrot in front of a bouncer at the door, he asked why I was eating a carrot; explained to him that its fresh with vitamins and tried to give him a carrot; he punched me in the face so I grabbed him to feed him the carrot. I had power over him as he was a weakling from not eating quality food which are fresh with vitamins. The bouncers are weaklings.

Bouncers think they own the world as usual, not allowed in for literally nothing. Usually hard to believe but we had to refund tickets because bouncers didn’t fancy letting us in. Beware you have a 50/50 chance of being let in. We were all completely sober, weren’t told a reason we weren’t allowed in. Think they did it as a joke. Avoid big time.

bouncer was very aggressive with me grabbing me and threating me after taking some time to put my shoes on due to taking them off because my feet was sore, i was minding my business tbh he then went on to become very aggressive with my boyfriend. I then went up to him later to say you should not treat people like that for him to say “fucking grow up” and walked off. Most of the fights that night was with the this bouncer and customers. i don’t want to give them all a bad name there was definitely some nice bouncers it’s a shame a few have to ruin it for them. if you don’t like the job why work there. they are so challenging and aggressive definitely ruin ur night

Used to go all the time and spent a lot of money there, not any more. Went in an open shirt over a t-shirt and got told I had to put my shirt in the cloak room as it was a jacket, explained multiple times it was just a shirt but the bouncer was having none of it, even other bouncers could see there was no issue but still he wouldn't allow entry. One of the bouncers man handled a female friend out of there for no apparent reason.

I can't even give one star to this so called night club.. The Securities were being racist and making fun of my friends. They were totally mean to my friends. One of our friend was drunk and they told she can't go in. We said it's her birthday. They started saying none of us could go in and was laughing and being rude to everyone.we were embarrassed in front of lots of people.

First day in switch and a bouncer who was WHITE called me a chocolate muffin. Never going again racist

Bouncers on some ego trip, and staff very angry. Had tickets but wasn't told about the cloakroom policy in advanced (must pay £2 to store hoodies). Horrible place. Experience ruined from the get go and continued inside. Left early. Hope they close down and get replaced with a nightclub that cares about their customers. First and last time going there.

Absolutely awful experience, went in a group of 4, absolutely no social distancing on the standing tables at all. Was verbally abused by one of the bouncers when we got kicked out with no explanation, when we asked we got told we were dancing when we weren’t we just stood as we were on a standing table. Asked for said bouncers name and was refused it. Another bouncer who claimed he was a manager - Paul - told us he believed his staff over us and any complaints we made would be dealt with him and that we shouldn’t expect to get anything from it. Absolutely appalling night, all four of us were very upset. As students we paid £9 entry and then paid for drinks we didn’t even get to drink as we were only there for about 40 minutes. So sad to see adults abusing their power intimidating young women as they did. Won’t be returning.

the bouncers are power greedy. there’s a difference between doing your job and being a complete arse. doing all they can to intimidate people. no friendly faces. the man with the plait and the shaved sides shoving past people, the lady with the tattoo on the side of her head also the same. first time there and was an awful experience. won’t be going back.

TLDR they lied about prices, the security seem unhinged like they are looking for fights instead of protecting people and there aren't enough toilets leading to lines making it all the way to the dance floor. The security guard at the ticket scanner was blatantly aggressive with people waiting in line to put their coats away as well as threatening people for not walking fast enough. The drinks prices listed on the tickets where falsely advertised as they wherent on sale or sold for the advertised prices and one bartender was swiftly dealt with for looking at the ticket description and trying to honour the listed prices. And last but not least the music was ok at best.

The worst pub ever. A lot of racism towards brown people. A lot of feminism card being played. Booked a VIP ticket and faced a lot of racism and feminism. paid £180 and kicked us out after an hour for no reason at all just being racist. They even called the policeman for no reason at all. No wonder it is rated 2.6 stars. And this was not only for one person but for two boys clearly shows the amount of racism being played. Never in these three years did we face racism but we did at switch very disappointed.

Staff are absolutely horrific, from the bouncers to the lady at reception. Shocking service and never accept any fault. Purchased a booth for me and some friends and the lady at reception forced us to pay extra due to there being ‘more than 10 of us’ when there was clearly only 9 of us. She counted once and refused to recount as she was adamant she was right. I wouldn’t give this place another penny if it was the last place open on earth.

Absolutely terrible door staff a gentlemen and female bouncer who has shaved hair and tattoos all on her face firstly looks an eye sore to the business. Upon entry we purchased a £10.00 entry ticket and were then made to pay a mandatory ‘cloak room’ fee. This extends to all: hoodies, jackets, fleeces and light coats so this isn’t ideal if it is bad weather. We were then forcefully removed (before there was a verbal instruction to leave) due to people in our party not wanting to ‘strip down to their t-shirts and crop tops due to it being 2°c. The saga continues…. A polite gentlemen who was working on the front desk asked if I needed my phone charging whilst we arrange onward travel elsewhere. (Which I can assure you we did) After waiting outside for one’s phone to charge to ample capacity I was further refused entry to collect my phone all by these door staff although a member of staff has kindly offered beforehand. Overall what a decrepit establishment this is it seriously needs a major overhaul and change of external company door staff otherwise I see this place empty due to its strict management and regulations. It dumbfounds me as to why these are implemented as it is nothing exclusive nor special in fact it’s a dump.

the actual club is good, good sound and lights etc. the business is terrible. will try at every step to get money from you. once you've paid to get in...mandatory cloack room that you have to pay for. no stamps unlike any other club so i hope you dont want to leave. other general exploitive business practices. shame because the club could be great but the business ruins it

Horrible place.Lowest lever i ever seen.Horrible moody barman .Drinks were so horrible ,not able to drink at all. Squat nothing more.

Bouncer & staff are tories who won’t let you run for wearing trackies or hoodies even tho most of the attendees are young students & it was a race night, it’s 2022 not 1922 they need to get with the times. Your best off going somewhere in Liverpool where the staff aren’t power hungry tories.

Switch is 50/50, some nights are decent and staff are okay. The rest of the time the bouncers at the door and the lady on reception are egoistic. They always say 4 rooms open tonight but they never are. The bouncers around the dance floor are incompetent as can be, I've seen people throw glasses and bottles across the club and the bouncers just stand there. It's lately just a cringe tik tok meet and greet club for 18year olds to sweat about in. The bar staff are usually sound as, never had a problem with those.

Went for New years eve leading to New years day. Paid for tickets for entry before 11.30 - the line to get in was horrendous and not planned well at all, took over an hour to get in. When reached the desk the 4 of us were told our tickets aren't valid because it's before 11.30 only and wouldn't have the fact the line was so long. Charged extra £10 each on emtry. I got asked to remove shacket which they were looking for for 25 mins at end of night. Other lad got asked to remove jumper with nothing else underneath which he obviously declined and was asked to prove he had no tshirt under! 4 vodka lemonade singles came to £32!! Which is literally taking advantage of people during a living crisis. The night described as the greatest show was a massive dissapointment and everyone we spoke to said staff were horrendous and felt like they had been robbed

Bouncers are 100% racists and dodgy people. They will throw you out without a reason and if you ask whats the reason, they will push you and threaten you.

couldn’t fault anything about the club, we visited from ireland, door staff were very friendly, as was the cloak room staff and bar staff, and we will definitely visit again. shout out to the bouncer’s

Went with a small group of friends for her birthday was in for about half an hour until I got dragged out by a bouncer (when I was dancing with them in the corner) my friend comes out to make sure I’m okay then they refused to let her back in because she was checking on me they said get food and come back we went to a chippy came back an hour later and still refused, so we said can we atleast get our friends we have no signal to text them and they continued to be rude and look down on us

Buy a bottle of vodka and a bottle of coke and you can have a night in better than switch.

Been to more than 100 night clubs but this is the Worst one I seen in my life dj is egoistic ,he spend more time in phone rather than cheering up crowd , never seen a dj like this . Don't know weather he is there to play songs or to use phone..

Worst club in Preston. Don't go there and waste your money. Bouncers are horrible and the establishment tries to scam you as much as possible.

This club is massively overrated! Firstly you have to sell a kidney to get inside to be granted with the worst drinks you could ever imagine. The musics ok there in a wide variety but I feel the security could be better as sometimes it looks like security are baby sitting security not a safe vibe especially when you leave and world war 3 has taken place outside. Saving grace is the few door staff that know what’s going on

So dirty smell in switch and I paid £12 enter and £2 for the jacket, than I feel like I am in so dirty night club I never seen before in my life

Bouncers are so rude, no manners whatsoever. Bar staff were really nice though. Quite a small club in my opinion gets a bit stuffy

Experience was ruined by Poor doorman. Went to Switch with my partner, Friends and sister. Very disappointed after we was filmed, fat shamed and laughed at by doormen. I will never return to switch or Preston and do plan on taking this matter else ware.
