Tertible coffee poor service. Keep well away if you want a decent coffee

Headed to work, I see one car at the window already, got time for a coffee great stuff ! So I pull round and place my order, there is a little wait , still no stress, the customer Infront pays , wait a little longer , still no stress! 5 or 6 drinks handed over, that explains the wait , still no stress! Customer in the car strikes up a conversation with the guy hanging out the window, minutes or so passed, starting to feel a little rushed, then I see a drink put down behind the guy hanging out of the window, my drink , at this point the clock really starts ticking, not 100% but pretty sure it took a further 4 mins for the conversation to end ... Sadly I am all out of time for buying and drinking coffee before work! But I am glad they took the time to have a lovely conversation!

Warm and cosy coffee shop. Perfect place if you want to have a coffee on your own or you want to have a catch up with your friends next to a delicious hot chocolate and now they have the festive drinks. Highly recommend

Terrible experience at Blackburn. Officious over bearing -"rules are rules" - staff. We walked out. I can just about cope with being asked to sit outside if that's what is needed to make people feel safe but not doing track and trace for the privalige of it. My money is better spent elsewhere. Somewhere, where we are made to feel welcome rather than u welcome.

Stop off here regularly (usually once a day) as its the nearest coffee shop. The coffee switches between awful and just about drinkable. The staff barely grunt at you. Generally doesn't look clean. If you want a decent tastibf coffee, served nicely go to the Costa near the Asda, they are much better

This is my all time favourite Costa Coffee, I don't live locally but my husband and I drive here several times a week. The staff are brilliant, we always get a warm welcome and the coffee is always top notch. Love they stock plenty of vegan options for me and my husband with one of our favourites being their toast. The staff make a fantastic team and I hope Costa Coffee realise the staff make for a great customer experience. We like to sit in the two big comfy chairs in the window which is great for people watching.

The tables was not cleaned after. the plates etc, was moved, it was advertised meal deals, where the food was, in the fridge, but get to till. and was not allowed, so think they should have removed the said meal deal signs. It usually cost us between £14 & £16,. It cost us £24,instead, We won't be returning any time soon,

Went today to have a meeting, breakfast wraps are really nice, had multiple teas 😂, power at most tables to charge my lap top, no time limit on the stay either. Friendly staff. Thankyou

Were only 4 cake options, my Dad went without as no less sweet option, like carrot cake.

For one reason or the other, this coffee shop has got my drink wrong almost every times. In 14 years of being customer of Costa, I had to make a complaint twice and both times it was this branch.

Only popped in for a drink and use toilets. Staff really helpful and carried my tray to table as I'm in a sling.

Went for a cappo Sunday afternoon pleasantly busy,staff work very hard and are friendly,great service,and decent selection of sandwiches,wraps and toasties and lots in the cakes and biscuit department for the sweet toothed ppl.Nice atmosphere.Pricey but worth it.

Absolute s***e, shuts early and throws customers out during the day with the excuse not enough staff. Used to use Costa nationally and built up loads of reward points, until they changed the conditions. But won’t be going out of my way to patronise in the future. If you want to a meeting place for work or social with a coffee and cake find a real Cafe where customer service means something and it’s not a rip-off.

As I approached the door 1 customers before me were let in but then I wasn't. I was told inside was closed but as I drove around to the drive through I could see the 2 customers were being served. Not good.

The opening hours for in store and drive through have changed from 6am to 7am *** Lots of places to park and the drive through is pretty obvious so you can't miss it :) The staff are really friendly and are always happy to help and recommend expecially when I don't know what I want to drink!! They are really helpful as they write down the name of the drink on the lid which is really helpful.

Disgusting customer service, woman’s headset wasn’t working tried to place order but she couldn’t hear us so drove round to place order, woman named Humerah was rude and said ‘I was speaking to you’ in a stern tone she then walked away from the hatch without taking our order when she came back she took order I pressed costa app to use my rewards she scanned it twice and took payment without saying anything. When I looked on the receipt I had been charged for 2 coffees and 2 baps all separately. I asked why I had been charged and she said there’s nothing she can do she then walked away laughing with the other staff members. I asked another member of staff what she was called as I was going to make a complaint. Terrible Costa won’t be using this one again.

Poor Service . Costa tou need to sort service like this out. 20 mins before closing at 530 , told I could only have a takeaway cup, made to feel I couldn't sit in . Toilets dirty , lots of litter outside . . Won't be going back

Just wanted to write a quick review to say thanks to the amazing staff working this Saturday morning. I'd just sat down with my order when I received an emergency call and had to leave. The staff gave me disposable cups to transfer my drinks to and hot food pouches for the cheese toasties. Thanks guys and keep up the good work 👏

Always a pleasure having a coffee here. Service is fantastic and food is always good! Thanks to the kind welcoming staff who was so welcoming to my toddler aswell. You deserve a promotion! I recommend mozzarella and tomato panini (it’s not on the recommendation list below for some reason)

The girls weren't interested in rushing to serve us, and seemed to be more interested in rushing us out of the door to close earlier. The shop looked scruffy and short of a good dusting and sweep round. The outside looks neglected with litter bins overflowing. Not a good look even if you're going for a quick coffee.

Came in the drive thru and took so long to serve me, then was answered by a gentleman who didn't even apologise for my wait time. Eventually got to the drive thru and took ages for my order, maybe if people spent less time flirting and more time working, I’d have my drink. Do not recommend!

Fast service and well made coffee. Just what one needs in the morning.

The person who took our order asked if we wanted cream on top but then forgot it. There were lots of empty tables that needed clearing and wiping down that were neglected. It's a busy place and I think they might be a bit understaffed. Loved the coffee and the little star design was a nice touch.

Absolute disgusting. Water was all over in tray I was served, I asked for tissues and server put it in tray which was full of water, I asked other staff to change it she said it’s only from the tap like what!!! Tissue is supposed to be used to clean and how can you clean with wet tissue. Than while eating mosquitoes decided to show up from somewhere. I was trying to get em off food I heard that same lady who said water is from tap saying what did he just do and laughing at me behind my back. Absolute joke, I scanned a promotion and she never bothered to see that I scanned it. Later making excuses saying you never told me this and that. I flipping don’t work here you work your suppose to ask me not me telling you. Better go to Starbucks, more professional and at least they respect their customers. JUST DON’T COME!!!

Was told to just clear the dirty table myself and the cafe was full literally had people on every table. Got our order wrong think the lady couldn't hear properly. Waited a far time to get my missed ordered hot drink. The gent behind me was also disappointed too, by the time i got my HOT drink it wasn't so hot. The costa next in the retail park is way better.

Appalling experience at this costa. I’m a huge fan of costa in general and have a lovely time at the one in Blackburn mall however this is my first time in this one and have been let down hugely. The customer service was disgusting, my drink tasted like boiled water, we weren’t allowed the usual cups to sit in with we had to have takeaway cups. The only adequate part of this was the assistant manager maddie who was very calm and understanding. I am not happy and will not be attending this costa under any circumstances again. This place leaves a bad reputation for the costa chain.

This is just a Costa “hidden gem”, so many drive past, lots drive-through but few come inside for the warm comfy seats within. (I probably won’t get a seat next time I’m there now!!)

Called at 8am . Says open from 7 on website. Knocked on the door to ask what time they were opening as the sugn on the door also said open from 7.. I was looked at and ignored. Whilst I was sat there.. they must have missed out on over 15 sales .. maybe should have put a note on the door to say what time they were opening. By 8.15 I gave up and went to Starbucks instead.

Sign on door says drive through closes at 8pm. Closed at 6.52pm. Called the phone number and no answer even though there were staff inside.

One member of staff who I she had not covered her name badge up I would most definitely put her name on here for sure..... NEVER meet anyone sooooo rude....to staff and CUSTOMERS.... Needs to learn some customer service....

Really slow at serving compared to other costa stores. Waited over 2 mins just to be asked what I wanted despite no queue .I find the staff don't have any warmth to them when serving.

I visited this evening to collect an order. The woman behind the counter practically grunted at me, no hello/goodbye/thank you etc. Very poor experience.

Regular visitor, quite busy. Not the full 5 stars after seeing flies walking over uncovered cakes and when highlighted to person who served us didn’t seem to bothered. Person served after us mentioned it too.

It's a question 'who is working today' sometimes you will get an average customer service then days (like today) a very poor one .. miserable staff, rubbish still in tables from the night before and a 'not so good latte' there are times when they open late (9am) and not 7am but that's not the fault of staff. At least the kind lady offered me a coffee from the serving hatch. It's becoming a laughing stock now so be aware.....
