Called on Friday for tea. Great friendly service fantastic fish and chips. Got to be up there with the best I've ever had. And it's a big fish. Will definitely be going back.

Was just passing so called in….. I don’t normally review but wouldn’t want anyone to waste their money, as this was over £16 for x2 Fish, chips peas and gravy and x1 barm cake. Good portion size but poor quality and taste… Thick under cooked pale batter, taste less fish. Chips also pale and under cooked… Peas watery, Gravy ok… Oddly they put the peas in the bottom of the tray, then chips, then gravy, then fish on top !!! Very bizarre..Me n hubby put over half of it in the bin !!!

Was just passing by and called in for fish n chips and curry sauce , the fish was huge and fresh , we were offered a choice of curry sauce , we had the ‘ Irish ‘ sauce it was delicious . The shop is immaculately clean and run by two lovely ladies , highly recommend, il be back again

fish and chips were below average .the chips were lightly cooked and very dry we chucked them in the bin . Very disappointed because this chip shop was highly recommended if you could give zero stars that's exactly what we would have give .

Second time we have got a takeaway from here and both times very impressed with the food. I am not a big 'chippy' person as find many greasy but this has been the best I have had 👍

Very friendly staff, whom did well despite it being a busy Friday evening. Fairly priced, all meals enjoyed. Chips not too greasy.

I’m not one to normally leave reviews but this is the Best Chippy in Lancashire! I honestly can’t believe how big, fresh and tasty the fish is. The portions are really big and prepped to the highest standards. The premises is immaculate and the customer service you receive is so welcoming. I placed my order by telephone and was given a time slot, when I arrived the fish was just coming out of the fryer and was wrapped up immediately. There is hand sanitizer available as soon as you walk in the door and the premises is so clean you just feel so confident with the food you are about to eat.

I have lived in Huncoat for over 20 years and this chippy is exactly what the village needed. The new owners must have spent a fortune refurbishing the premises to such a high standard. The staff are always happy and friendly. Serving good value top quality food at a reasonable price. My favourite is the enormous fresh fish and ample fluffy chips. Recommend.

I have been a Huncoat resident for over 20 years & can safely say this Chippy is just what our little village needed. Perfectly clean & modern shop with great traditional food. All the food IMHO is to die for, especially the fish which is possibly the best fresh fish you will find in Lancashire ;) Fantastic chippy with lovely staff & beautiful food ;) keep up the good work girls x

Had a really nice chippy tea tonight. I ordered by telephone and was told a time slot to collect. All ready on time, freshly cooked and piping hot from friendly staff. Best fish and chips I've had in ages. Thank you so much for being so well organised and making it work in these trying times.
