Me and my partner visited a few weeks ago and loved it! Our host Beth was amazing. It was my partner’s first time at an escape room and he loved it - we’ll be back next year to try another one. We completed Run, managed to get out within 45 minutes. The puzzles were really good, a little jumpy too - so very different from any escape room I’ve done previously.

Absolutely loved this experience! The staff were amazing and so helpful. We did the "no hope in hell" experience as a couple for my partners birthday. Loads of fun and although we didnt manage it in time we had such a blast we will definitely be back!

3 of us visited yesterday and completed ‘run’. We had an absolutely fantastic time and can’t wait to come back again to try another! Our host Jamie was great and gave us just the right amount of fear factor and humour! We completed it the quickest of the day, with a few clues. Wished it was a little bit longer but was definitely worth the experience and very clever! Thanks!

Petros and Khadija were great and the escape room was awesome will deffo book again

As a family day out with a 9year old we did the wizards of time with Khad and Beth as our guides! We had the best time, really impressed with the immersive experience and our daughter loved every minute! Thanks so much Great Escape Game 😃

The Wizards of Time experience was absolutely excellent. Unique, engaging, and had a lot more to it than your typical escape room. Tori was a such a brilliant and funny host who took what was already a great experience to another level. Thank you so much!

Had a great time doing the Submerged game with 6 of us. Josh was a great host, with 4 who had never done an escape room before he did a great job preparing us and making sure we all knew what we were doing. Special thanks to Beth and I think his name was Lee, who helped sort out some changes to the booking quickly and efficiently! Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking about trying it out.

Me and my girlfriend had a fantastic time this morning at the great escape, we played the homicide room. It was a fantastic experience which had us on our toes from the very go. Visited Great Escape Sheffield last night with a group from work and playing Submerged in two teams. The room is a so good and being able to race another team really adds to the experience! I've dome a few escape rooms before and this was my favourite so far. Our host Sandish really made it but the whole team were so fantastic. Also the package with pizza and a drink is such good value! Can't wait to book again.

Fabulous experience at great escape for my friend's hen party! 10/10 fab experience of the escape room and cocktail masterclass. Also the room has lots of games including mario kart. Special shout out to Khadeja, Jude and Sandy for making our experience super amazing 😊 would recommend

Had a great time here, full of thrill and excitement. Our host Hannah was amazing! Some fun arcade stuff too while you wait or after your session. Definitely need to come back again! 😁

Our game master Lee greeted us and made us feel very welcome and relaxed, answered any questions we had about the game. He definitely made the experience enjoyable from the minute we walked through the door to when we walked out. The escape room was amazing, very well thought out and immersive, we played Run today and happy to say we escaped. Lots of interactive puzzles, cool sound effects amongst other things (don't want to ruin your game experience with any more info)! We are on holiday but we loved it so much we booked in for tomorrow for devils play ground on site. We have done many escape rooms, and I'd rate this as one of the best we have played IT's A MUST!!!! Can't wait for tomorrow and the next room 😁👌😁 Another amendment-We ended up going 4 days in a row so played Run, devils playground, abducted and submerged. Even when we didn't escape we came out happy, satisfied and laughing! A new interactive room will be opening soon and a lot of thought, time and money has been invested in this. I so want to go back to do this one despite living a 5 hour drive away. Every single room was great and the team were great throughout the 4 days. Lee, Hannah, Shane, Rogan, the doctor 😉 and the other members-forgot everybody's names, apologies. If I could I'd give this a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I would!!!

We came for a hen do cocktail master class and it was absolutely brilliant. So fun and the cocktails were delicious. The best way to start a night out. We can't wait to come back again. All the staff were fantastic and made the whole experience so fun

Came with some friends today and it was absolutely amazing! We did the devil's playground and although we didn't escape it was an amazing experience and will definitely be back! Our host Beth was absolutely incredible too, she was so lovely.

Great welcome by Liam, who explained everything clearly & with s smile. Beth greeted us post game and was very friendly. We escaped 'Run' with our 11 and 14 Yr old children. Great fun with just the right amount of jump scare & difficulty. Will definitely be returning.

First time here and had a really fun time. Played the ‘Sub-Merged’ experience which is a puzzle style game between 3 rooms. Highly recommend, will try a horror experience next time. Petros was really helpful in the briefing/assistance!

What an amazing experience! We made it with 5 minutes to spare, followed by pizzas and cocktails. The member of staff called Will helped us and he was really friendly and kind. Would definitely recommend!!!

I have to say I would recommend The Great Escape room in town for a teenagers party. I've had 5 teenage girls who did the Devil's playground today and they've come out buzzing wanting to do every room. Staff were fantastic and if you get the party package it includes a pizza, mocktail and ice cream each which were delicious. Big thanks to the staff there, you made their day.

We really enjoyed our experience here - we played Abducted and it was intensely amazing. El and Liam were really great very clear with their instructions and would definitely recommend to listen to instructions. I would recommend for anyone who is adventurous and likes solving puzzles and very random. Cant wait for the 4th round.

Friend was so scared she got a nose bleed. Timbers were shivered. Pizza is great too. Beth and Liam were great brought a great energy to the whole experience.

First time doing an escape room, decided to go on a wet weekend trip to Sheffield. Loved it - fun, just the right level of challenge and scariness. Didn't think we'd make it out in the end but shout out to Beth for the excellent hints and for giving us so many great recommendations for our time in Sheffield!

Really great experience and Liam was a very helpful when we were struggling (which was quite a lot). We did Run, very enjoyable but difficult, but that’s the point. Will definitely be coming back :)

Absolutely brilliant game. Me and my friends played "Run" which wasn't too scary but still gave a thrill. The puzzles can sometimes be confusing but they are really simple to solve. The staff are lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend

Great escape game. We managed to complete the room (with a couple of helpful hints from Shane). A really fun way to spend an afternoon. The game was really interactive and kept us guessing to the end. Good pizza and cocktails too. I was driving home and so Shane made me a non alcoholic cocktail. Great service and good fun.

This was mine & my partners first escape room experience. The staff were very approachable & lovely, especially Issy & Beth who had to help us out with hints at times. The game was intense at times & the puzzles were sometimes quite difficult to solve, we really enjoyed it! The pizza & drinks were also great. We'll definitely come back & try different games. Thanks to the team for a lovely evening!

We came to the great escape room for a team building day. We had use of the conference room all day for our meetings which was a great space, with tea/coffee and we had lunch also which was lovely. Our meetings were split up by various escape room games in which the team had to work together and test our communication/problem solving skills. The food, service, games everything was 10/10 could not fault the staff. Lee helped us with the day and the games, he was great. Didn't stop laughing the whole day. Can't wait to hire out for a party one day!

Did Submerged on Saturday and escaped with 4 seconds left!! HANNAH our Escape Assistant was awesome. In fact all the staff were great. I've done a few Escape Rooms but this is the BEST I've been to The room was great, it was fab to do and it's nice to sit and have a drink in the bar afterwards. We will definitely be back. Thank for a great afternoon.

This was so much fun! We a fantastic time. Hannah and all of the staff were absolutely great. Would really recommend. Didn't expect to be able to play free board games, PlayStations and Nintendo as well! Would love to come back :)

Really enjoyed this. However, this is a 'no spoilers' review so won't go into too much details! The last time we did the Great Escape was approximately 3 years ago, (pre covid) and we completed 3 games. This recent one was Submarine which is completely different to the others we've done. Very impressed with how the games have changed and developed too. The games have different levels of difficulty, some are for adults only but also have childrens ones too. We did the Submarine one, and completed in 55 minutes, with 5 minutes to spare! There's the option of pizza and drinks too. Would recommend.

Don't bother buying a Wizards of Time voucher! We did and not able to book, so asked for a refund months ago and still not received our money back. I've given The Great Escale Game every opportunity to rectify this situation but haven't bothered. I'm asking for a full refund for the final time!

Just want to say another massive thank you to Tori for making the whole experience so much better for us! She was very welcoming from the second we arrived in and it made my birthday outing so much better! The devils playground was also amazing and Tori helped us when needed, she didn’t just tell us outright what to do, but instead dropped subtle hints for us which made the game a challenge still! She’s a credit to the whole team there and we will definitely be returning again because of how good she made the experience for us 😊 can’t wait for the next challenge!

We had a great time in the Wizards of Time room. The puzzles were interesting and "casting spells" was really fun. Tori made us feel very welcome, and got us excited for the game. I'll definitely be going there again!

My partner and I had the best escape experience and the room was scary (we did 'Run') and really well done. Beth was an awesome host and it was great to escape with 15 minutes to spare. Would definitely recommend and look forward to coming back again.

Really great experience, we chose the abducted and it was very scary, constantly on edge and really give you a buzz! The pizzas and lounge area is great too. Izzy was our game master and she made the day really enjoyable! Defo recommend we will be coming again 👍😁

I took my son to Sheffield to take part in the devils playground. We had a brilliant time and would highly recommend it. The whole experience was fantastic. Our host Izzy was brilliant. Very helpful. We will definitely be booking again. Next time I’m bringing the whole family.

Such a fun room (my group did Run) - very interactive with nicely challenging puzzles that weren't impossible to solve. The immersion was great too and Kate, who ran the room, was excellent! She was so bubbly and welcoming and ran the room really well. Will definitely be coming again :)

Staff are very good and accommodating to people with mobility or other accessibility needs. We have played 2 of their games now and would recommend both. There are also games consoles and board games as well as arcade machines (free) on site as well as a bar. The team do seem really busy as there’s only a few of them but they don’t ignore you and spend time hosting you better than you would expect!

Just finished our game of “Run” and can honestly say it was amazing! Puzzling, spooky and humorous all at once! Overall a great experience and will definitely be re-visiting to try the other rooms :) not to mention our host Josh was absolutely fantastic!

The Great Escape Game was great fun! Our host Beth really helped us understand the game and rules. We played No Hope In Hell, which was incredibly atmospheric with some really nice immersive choices. We got out with four minutes to go a really well balanced challenge!

I loved every bit of this experience!!we also made it out of the room, which was wonderful too. I love how the location also has board, video and even arcade games which are free for customers to play either before or after the escape room(s). Also hats off for the creative cocktail names lol I liked that it followed the theme as well. I highly recommend this for family and friends. It is one of those things you have to tick off your bucket list so book your tickets today!! Special shout out to BETH, our wonderful guide throughout the experience. We played our second game with The Great Escape just before Christmas and it was again a hugely enjoyable experience and a great day! Shane was very patient with us and was brilliant over the walkie talkie putting up with our shenanigans and guiding us in the right direction when we needed it! Plus he's a good laugh! Had a great time doing Abducted! Picked Hardcore (definitely recommend for full experience) Played with 2 of us with Petros as our game master who was amazing! Though we didn't get out (definitely recommend having more than 2 people for this one! Very tough!) It was so much fun! Definitely coming back!

Went here today to play the run game with my other half. Really really enjoyed the game itself. Will definitely be heading back. Big shout out to the staff especially Liam and Khad who dealt with us. Khad was a brilliant games master and really made the experience. She’s a credit to the company!

This is our second time here. We had a great time! Came with my wife and we enjoyed Run so much! We managed to escape and that was definitely a plus factor! Khad has been brilliant and so patient with us. Such a pleasant person! Will surely go again for a different game in the near future!
