Ah Grange, with your rolling valleys and undulating contours. What more could a relatively novice bowler ask for when learning of the nuances and intricacies of that glorious game of crown green bowls? Answer: - patience, patience and patience. A well tended green tucked beyond the back of Mercer park with it's own private drive way and car park. A friendly welcome from the locals and a pleasantly quiet part of Clayton-le-moors. Especially liked the waist high bowls troughs to keep your weapons handy.
