We started from The Peel Tower, very nice, then all the walk through the hills to take you there is really beautiful. Worth to do it.

Good walk not to demanding

Interesting spot part way up the hill. Well worth reading up on the history behind it. Nice views to be had from here too and not much further to climb to get to the nearby summit trig point. Fairly quiet compared to the area around Peel Tower but the paths are easily to follow but will get muddy in winter or after any rain.

Beautiful walk

Lovely walk over the Moor from Peel tower, bleak, atmospheric and best of all deserted. Far from the madding crowd.

Well worth a detour if you are walking on Holcombe Moor
