I love that this store is calm, quiet and tucked away from the main high street in Wolverhampton. There’s a lovely restaurant around the corner called Nutmeg- perfect for cuddling up with a book and coffee. The staff are patient, and the suggested book tables are well put together too!

Nice bookshop to walk around, I love waterstones for that reason. So easy to find what books you like (and then search for them second hand on World of Books to get them cheaper and more ethically). Has two floors and is well stocked. Nice reviews from staff for many books as well!

Well it's a Waterstones. It sells books, boardgames etc. It's quite big, split over two floors. Staff have always been friendly in my experience and they're happy to order in titles for you if they're not in stock.

A great range of books and extremely helpful staff. They didn't have what I needed in stock so the gentleman who worked here was more than happy to order it in for me to collect. Much more friendly than the one in Birmingham

Good place in busy town centre. 2 floors or books, all the usual catalogue of books you'd expect. Didn't have mine but would order in. 2 week wait though so best to ring and see if you know what you want and put on order.

My closest Waterstones from where I live was Birmingham city Waterstones. Even though it is kinda bigger, it's loud and busy with book shoppers. But what I have grown to adore about Wolverhampton Waterstones, is that it's exactly what any bibliophile prefers, a small, quiet, cozy bookstore in the corner of the road. And just around the corner is Starbucks and Costa for those autumn coffee drinks to sip down with a book from Wolverhampton Waterstones!✨

It had been a long time since I visited an actual physical bricks and mortar book shop, but with specific books in mind for Christmas gifts, i made the short train journey to Waterstones in Wolverhampton. I am so glad I made the effort. The shop is huge, with two floors stacked with books, from floor to ceiling. Once through the doors, the traditional shop gave me a warm welcoming feeling, with soft carpet underfoot, and the smell of traditional wood stained bookcases, a bit like putting on some comfortable old slippers. I couldn't actually find the book I was after, so had to ask the staff. They were polite, informative helpful, and took me upstairs to the appropriate section, where the book I wanted was situated. The book was for my Wife, but then I saw a book that I was interested in, so bought that as well. The range of books on offer is astonishing, fact, fiction, travel, puzzles, you name it, Waterstones have got it. An added bonus was the fact that on the way out, I came across a wall full of jigsaw puzzles, which instantly gave me an idea for another gift. As I slipped through the door, leaving the warm comfort of the shop, and stepping into the cold light of day, I felt satisfied and pleased that I had made the effort, I ended up with 3 Christmas gifts to give. Buying books online is convenient, but it can never replace the evocative emotions of a traditional book shop.

Waterstones killed off the good local bookshop. Generic novels. Ok, they will order books in,.but so will Amazon and the other online venders, often with discount.
