I went in with my fiancée last weekend to look at some wedding rings we'd seen online. We were assisted by Roxy who was very polite and friendly. She helped us both find the perfect fitting rings and even helped us get a 20% discount off one of them (by using an online code). My ring was slightly damaged which she spotted as she was putting the rings away for us, so she ordered one from the warehouse for me which was delivered today. I went to H Samuals in York and also in Birmingham on the same day and was amazed how both shops treated me the same, I was interested in buying an eco drive citizen watch sale price was £160, I stood in both shops looking at the watches in the cabinet for 10 minutes, and not one assistant came over to help me, they where to busy looking at their mobile phones. I walked out of both shops disappointed and empty handed with no watch.

I bought a ring for my fiance. The staff was very welcoming. They showed us lot of options. They do accept NHS/student discounts.

Was looking for a really nice watch, and Jamie was happy to help me look for one. I ended coming out with a rotary watch, just like I wanted. Was very pleased with my order and he was happy to help.

Having purchased an engagement ring for my partner online at H. Samuel, we needed to go into a store, as the ring was not of good fit. Having spoken to Customer Service via live chat (who were rather average at best), they had at least confirmed that alterations within 30 days were without charge. So I booked an appointment online to visit H. Samuel Birmingham Bull Ring today Sun 21 May. Claire S and the Duty Manager were extremely helpful and really seemed to know what they were doing, as well as be interested in our story. Without any fuss or argument, they agreed to exchange the ring for the same but the correct size (rather than adjust the size of the existing ring) - despite the fact my fiancée had been wearing the ring. Having worked together to size her finger correctly, Claire S and the manager ordered the correct ring, took the old ring from us, and we agreed the new ring would likely be ready on Tuesday, and I would take the certificate and packaging for the old ring when I came to collect. Many companies don't want to get involved with online ordered if you go into store, but my experience here was thankfully very different - they seemed more than happy to take responsibility and assist with online orders, and although the store may not have made any extra commission from me this time, I don't forget the people in life that wronged me, but I sure as hell also remember those that helped me out. Thus, I will be sure to return to them for the wedding ring, and future jewellery purchases. They were quite keen on me purchasing their insurance, but I certainly wouldn't say there was any pressure. Sadly, their insurance excludes loss and this is important for us, and I feel they did respect my decision. Although customer service could have been more helpful and interested, I have rated based on this particular store, as it would be unfair to deduct stars based upon Head Office. In any case, HQ still gave me the information I needed, and the store honoured what had been agreed (and more) without any drama. So often you have to fight companies to honour their own procedures, which in this case could really have soured the magic of getting engaged, so I recognise and appreciate how stress free the interaction was. I got my first ear piercing here. Done by the staff Ellie (hope I got her name correct, sorry if I got it wrong). She was super patient, kind, and friendly. Because this is my first time (wanting to do it for years but didnt have the encourage), I was very nervous and got tons of questions. I just came to visit in Birmingham from London and waited for my boyfriend to come before I did it, holding a suitcase and schoolbag and all. Ellie was very patient and let me sit at the studio and take my time. Great sanitisation process (detailed preparation). The earrings are all enclosed in one-off boxes before use (very clean, no need to worry about hygiene). When actually doing it, Ellie chatted with me (e.g., are you going shopping afterwards, traveling..etc.) to calm my nerves, so I wouldnt be too focused on the piercing process (a bit of nice distraction). It did not hurt that much and I think I am healing ok. Before coming to H Samuel, I was considering doing it at Claires or lovisa as well, but when I started talking to Ellie, I knew I should do it here. A nice and kind staff is above everything, really. P.S. the process was actually quick. just filled in a form; the staff sanitised and got the earring box ready; helped you confirm the positions for the piercing; a few munites of piercing and done. The store is very clean and neat (not crowded at all), so you can sit and take you time.

We were booked in to find our rings for our wedding in 4 weeks time which caused a smidge of panic as that wasn’t a lot of time to find what we wanted, we had an idea of what we wanted but had a few questions. The staff member we spoke with was very informative and knowledgable with the products we were looking at purchasing, we got sized and found the rings we wanted within 15 minutes. Even our our rings on a free express delivery service as one was ready to despatch straight away and the other was a 3 week delay. We have now received both rings with 2 weeks left until the day. Was told by 2 different things by 2 different workers.came in over a month ago. To ask to adjust a watch. For a disabled client. She came with me both times. The second time she kepted asking for a receipt. Told her it was a 40 birthday. They told us at first it would be £20. Then told us they couldn’t help. In the end I got it done for £5 . Not helpful and quick to brush us off. Is the way they treat disabled people would of been no stars .

I went in on the off chance I could have some links took out my watch I'd brought as it was far to big for me . I can't remember the young ladies name but she was great and welcoming and didn't leave me hanging around not knowing what was going on . She told me at every point who was going to sort my watch out and lead me to a sofa so I could relax and wait. Then Nath came out with my watch put it on me and after talking we agreed it needed another link out. This person didn't act like I was an inconvenience or anything. Was more then happy to take another link out for me. Nath came back re-fitted it and you know what ... It was perfect. I then left with goodbyes from Nath and the other lady. Would 110% come here again .

Just got my ears pierced by a woman named Claire and she was an absolute sweetheart. She talked me through the process and explained clearly what I had to do to clean it.

My husband bought me earrings and asked the assistant if they could be returned. She said yes as long as they hadn’t been worn. I would have double checked that, as I didn’t think you could return earrings, but he didn’t check. Well we tried to return them and couldn’t. Fair enough there is a policy, but what is absolute poor service - is a member of staff saying they could be returned, which was incorrect information! Won’t shop there again out of principle.

I was on a mission of getting my old Casio a new brother so it doesnt feel lonely. Alice helped to convince me , very successfully, into buying a fully black Edifice. I am pleased to say the new family member has been well received by the old Casio. Great overall experience and customer service. Deserves a gold star.

It was a nice and quiet store, albeit a bit hard to locate. The sales staff that attended to us was very nice and showed us a wide range to pick from. The jewelries there!!!!! Omg, they just want to make you keep swiping your card. Their collection is super nice and quite affordable too and a plus, they have insurance too! Great place, will most likely shop for my jewellery in their stores from now on
