First time here, it was so much fun! Had a great tour guide, Kennedy I think. Several people had the same idea as my family this Tuesday, including a few daycares, but it didn’t feel crowded at all. Plenty of space for everyone. Reservations weren’t needed. Plenty of parking, easy to get to. Friendly and knowledgeable staff! Panning for gold was fun and my family each got 1-3 pieces. We got a bucket of gems and got great finds! We all had a great time, definitely worth it!

This place is a must-see if you're in the area! The tour was remarkable, with a lot of interesting information! Everyone was so nice and friendly! Especially our tour guide, Rusty. Thar man has a unique personality and a charisma! Bring your kids to look for gems in the sand and a gold! This is so worth the time and the money!

My family and I really enjoyed this place. Our tour guide was awesome don't remember her name but she is a short young lady with brown hair. Very funny! Going underground was cool. I think everyone should experience this. The canning I got one gold flake. So I ended up paying a necklace and something for my nephew. Everyone there was nice and friendly.

The tour guide Lisa done a fantastic job. She included everyone in the group for interactive learning. She was a lot of fun. After the tour we could mine for gold or gems. We chose the gold option. We watched a short video on how to pan and Lisa gave us tips on how to use our pan. When we were left with a small amount of sand their were other workers to help retrieve our gold if we had any. Really enjoyed the tour and worth the money. The only downside was the outdoor bathroom could use a major renovation and the toilet seats were not made for short people. Children would need help to sit on them. Suggest that you use the bathroom elsewhere.

My outdoor plans got rained out, so I decided to go underground instead. I'm so glad I did! What an amazing place! The staff & guides were so friendly and knowledgeable. It was like stepping into history and a dwarven fantasy cavernscape at the same time. Just loved it! 😍

Where to begin, such a nice place filled to the brim with great people. Our family had a blast taking the mine tour learning about the mine and its workers. So much fun, panning for gold was awsome, and finding those gems was great too. Our daughter even found what was referred to as a very nice Ruby. The gift shop is great from some very nice jewelry to a window where you can watch the skilled workers cut a gem or two. Definately a must do if you are in the area.

Fun for the whole family! From gold panning, to gem stone mining, to touring a once active gold mine, Consolidated Gold Mine is a fun experience for all ages! Gold panning and gem stone mining are done with help of their very knowledgeable staff who will help you identify any gems or minerals you may find and will help you extract the gold you pan! The tour is an informational and fun look at mining in Georgia along with a showcase of the tools and techniques that would have been employed by miners in the gold rush days! Overall, the experience is fun, informative and a great way to see another side of what Georgia has to offer!

The tour exceeded our expectations! Miner Rusty is a great tour guide, and is also fantastic with kids. My 9yo son had a blast helping him demonstrate pumping water out of the mine shafts! Definitely worth the trip! We will definitely be back!

We had fun going thru the cave. Our tour guide was funny, which made the tour better. It is a bit pricey. We paid $90 for 3 of us and gem mining. My daughter got a lot of good gems in her bucket. It's definitely worth a visit. We went right when they opened so it wasn't very crowded. But when we left, it started getting busy.

Went there on a memorial Day! Loved the tour, and learned so much from our guide. After the tour, they teach you how to pan for gold and you’re able to try for yourself! Also, You can buy a bucket and search for gemstones. Staff members were nice and welcoming. * your shoes might get little muddy down in the mine. *Call for hours!

What a cute way to spend the afternoon with the kids. The tour guides are hilarious - and you get a good tour of the experience of the miners. You get to see equipment they used , see some stalagmites, pan for gold and to collect some semi precious stones
