Great variety of gold. But be smart and avoid the 18k gold. You're paying the same amount for 18k per gram for hand work. Hence if the cost is 12 KD per gram, they will charge you 22-24 kd per gram. Whereas if you buy 22k gold for 17 KD per gram then the hand work will only be an extra 2-3 kd per gram

It's really congested and crowded area especially in the evenings and weekends. Of course you can find many things in cheap rates and quality but shopping with family could be a nightmare for most of the people. You have plenty of shops from jewelleries to groceries. The fact that you won't feel comfortable mostly feels like in local markets.
