This is an excellent ace for brunch. The service was great food was awesome all 7 of us had only good things to say about it. They have a big burger challenge also that if you complete it your na.e goes on the wall. See the pics. The only complaint is the parking. I had to use the paid open lot jut past the Cat or you can use the garage parking. Not free. The service was fast and professional and very clean. Will definitely come back. They are only open in the AM so get there before noon.

Very nice place to have breakfast while in Kuwayt. Good variety and delicious food. They do not take reservations so you have to arrive, register your name and wait to be called.

So this place is simply amazing. Situated in the city and connected to the very popular Slider station this awesome venue did not disappoint. Firstly the staff are completely warm and welcoming, very attentive and just all round cool. The breakfast they have available is for sure one of the best around. And the pancakes are as soft as clouds. The lazy egg muffin was really good. Although the bagel was not as fresh as expected but thanks to the service and all the other food it made up. And yes I’ll be back just for those pancakes.

Food was ok with small portions and somehow overpriced, service was slow, overall its not best value for money.

We ordered fluffy Japanese pancake, Ms Melt, Fancy shamsy and Smit Benedict. Taste was good NOT WORTH THE PRICE, as the portions are very very small, the taste, quality is good but such a small portion, in no way justifies the price they are charging. Fluffy pancakes is the most liked dish here, but they have reduced the fruits they used to add by 50%, instead of 7 pancakes which they used to serve, now the dish just has 4 pancakes. Yes prices have increased post covid. There are alot of places in kuwait that charge a premium (take cheesecake factory) but the price is worth, of what they are providing.

Best place for breakfast. Most have the fluffy pancakes. But all the dishes I’ve tried so far have been great.

Nice varied menu. Prices were fairly reasonable. Portions were hit and miss. The food tasted good but nothing was particularly outstanding. I'd highly recommend going as early as possible. We arrived at 9AM and the indoor seating area was already packed full so we had to settle for the outdoors. Luckily, they had large cooling fans so we managed to survive. There was a cat that roamed around the outdoor seats scaring some of the ladies. Maybe it's the restaurant's mascot or something.

The atmosphere was quite nice. Definitely would recommend it in winter or if the weather is dry since I went today and it was humid so the ac wasn’t working very well. Place was also a little crowded and I wanted to book my table from home but they refused and said that I had to be there and wait so I can get a table. my favourite dish was most definitely the Japanese pancakes. Very light, fluffy (obviously) and overall delicious. And the lazy egg muffin was nice There’s also this staircase that has some street wall next to it if anyone wants to take pics

During my visit to Kuwait, I stopped at this very nice environment place for breakfast. The food was so yummy, and the service was great. It is well worth waiting to be seated.

The restaurant is very crowded, first come first serve, you have to wait in the line , we reached at 12 and got our table at 1:30 😅 but it was worth it, the Japanese Pancake is really delicious ! I will definitely try it again 😁

Lazy Cat is a new breakfast concept located at Slider Station. It was good to visit an old haunt and have some amazing dishes built on quality, freshness and taste

This is one of our favourite breakfast spots in Kuwait, and definitely has some great dishes. The lazy Egg muffin (with pastrami) is excellent and so are the standout fluffy pancakes. However, having said that, while the quality is great, the quantity has become very poor. For instance, about a year ago, you could order a plate of pancakes and get 8 pieces; now you get 4. Moreover, the breakfast menu has become quite limited so you don't have too many options. But overall it's still a great experience, especially if it's your first time. But do expect to be disappointed with the overall quantity.

Simple breakfast restaurant servicing yummy food One of my favorite restaurants, although it is always crowded, and I have to wait for my turn to get a table, I enjoy eating and I say the wait is worth this delicious breakfast. Waiting: The restaurant is always crowded, so it's best to come early... sometimes you may have to wait more than half an hour. Staff: They are professional and well trained, although it is always crowded, but the staff always greet you with professionalism, speed of movement, cleaning and fulfillment of requests. Dishes: I have visited the restaurant 4 times in the past 3 months, and every visit I try a new dish in addition to the Fluffy Japanese Pancakes, I can not do without it, the dishes are wonderful and delicious, you have to try all the dishes. The Fluffy Japanese Pancakes is the main reason for my frequent visit to the restaurant… I have tried several restaurants in different countries, for me the Lazy Cat restaurant is the best to have Japanese Pancakes, the taste of pancakes is distinctive and balanced, some restaurants serve pancakes and the taste of eggs is overwhelming, and the other serves pancakes and the flavor of vanilla is overwhelming. Well done … Can’t wait to to visit you again & again.

A buzzin place with super service, very fine ambience with moody industrial edge and seriously lush green plants and background brazilian/french vocal ambient sounds. The food/coffee is highly recommended. Attracts both locals and expats, definitely going back! Ace Breakfast!

Great place to have a good breakfast however be ready to wait for 20-30 mins to get your order. Went in with Frnds and ordered three dishes, one for each, sadly two of us got our orders and the third order took over 25mins after we got our food. It’s ok if you are sharing all but when you’ve individual orders they shouldn’t serve few items first and rest later. We waited for the third order to arrive and once we got that, both of our food was already cold. However it’s just probably a one off bad experience which happens sometimes in restaurants. Parking could sometimes be an issue here especially in weekends. Do try their - fluffy pancakes and the not your avg bagel.. both of them are great Overall it is a great place for breakfast.

In terms of food, the menu is incredibly appealing and the flavors are delightful. Nonetheless, the limited space and crowded environment can make it a bit uncomfortable to breathe. There is room for improvement in the training of some staff members, as they seem unfamiliar with the menu and its ingredients. Overall, the experience was quite positive.

Lazy Cat Restaurant in Kuwait has long been known for its cozy atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious food. Nestled in a quiet corner of the city, it has been a go-to spot for many locals and tourists alike. However, recently, the quality of the food, which has shifted from being exceptional to more average. Despite this change, Lazy Cat Restaurant still retains its charm and inviting ambiance. The interior is very nice . The staff continues to be attentive and accommodating, ensuring that every guest feels welcome and well taken care of. While the food may not be as outstanding as it once was, Lazy Cat still offers a decent selection of dishes that cater to various tastes. Although the quality may have dipped slightly, Lazy Cat Restaurant remains a reliable choice for a casual dining experience.. P.S: we miss the grilled cheese sandwich.

Food and atmosphere were great! We ordered the club sandwich and the fluffy pancakes - pancakes are highly recommended. Loved the greenery and overall vibe.

The food was good a bit pricey but worth the taste. I ate here at around 7:30 so I did not experience a huge crowd. The lazy potato hash browns was alright would not order it again. The scrambled egg on sourdough bread was also alright. The eggy sandwich was very good but it's very buttery. The japanese pancake was very good. Over all I would come here again to try out what else they have.

Good food, limited menu and the service was quick. Only downside was that we waited close to 2 hours for our table.

  • 4/5 Fawaz A. 1 year ago on Google
I love the place and the atmosphere. The service is good but the food portion is a bit under sized in comparison with the price paid. Although the coffee taste is good and almond milk option is available, the cold brew needs to be reviewed and reintroduced to the menu with a better flavor.
