Came here for a month, during a business trip. The classes look super fun, trainers are super nice vibe and they care about your improvement. Even not participating in classes due to be following my own program, was able to improve due to tips given by trainers. Box it’s self it’s spacey and equipment is really good. If around boise, highly recommend 😇

The coaches here at Boise are the best in Idaho, and among the best in the nation. They put so much work into teaching technique every class, every day. Andy is incredibly knowledgeable, and his dedication and care given to every member has made this my favorite gym. I have owned and run four CrossFit gyms, and I’ve taught seminars at more than 30 CrossFit gyms nationwide. I’ve visited more than 80 CrossFit gyms since 2008. I’ve been here at Boise CrossFit for over a year now, and I love it — the people, the programming, the coaching are all wonderful.

TL:DR? Come for the great coaching: stay for the community! Boise CrossFit is easily one of the top gyms in the nation. I travel often for work, and going to other gyms makes me reflect on all of the things I love about BCF! I joined as an older adult (50!) after a years-long break from any kind of fitness, and have felt comfortable and welcomed at BCF. 1) The coaching is excellent. I feel confident that no matter which class I am able to attend, a qualified and enthusiastic coach will be there to help me achieve my best in every workout. Each coach has a full understanding of the programmed movements, and will break them down for easier understanding, as well as offer appropriate scaled movements. I have super screwy shoulders, and the coaches are all excellent at answering my unending litany of odd questions, as well as correcting my form in a helpful way. They go out of their way to help me figure out which scaled option will work best for me. BONUS: all coaches have a great sense of humor, and will keep you smiling though the workout! 2) The gym is SPOTLESS. Everything is clean and well organized. 3) There is a thoughtful plan in place with each workout programmed. Over the course of a week, every muscle will receive attention. 4) The community! This is no accident. The community has been thoughtfully cultivated. Through encouraging emails and texts from the owner, Andy, and partner workouts that make you reach out to others, this intentionality has created a supportive and enthusiastic community that makes you want to come back for more. Whether you are a person lifting 450lbs and training for a competition, or just starting out with the 15lb trainer bar, everyone is encouraged to do their best and celebrated for their accomplishments. 5) Andy, the owner and head coach, is patient, methodical and meticulous. He also has an excellent sense of humor and understanding of people. He has created something extraordinary with Boise CrossFit.

I just relocated to the area and I had searched around the area looking for new crossfit gyms. This gym IMO is by far the best equipped in the area. The owner is very knowledgeable and welcoming, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to start my new chapter.

Dropped in twice to Boise CrossFit while visiting and really enjoyed both classes. Jared and Shane were both friendly and helpful coaches. Nice large space and clean/organized. Would definitely come back if I'm ever back in the area. 😁

Been to many different cf gyms over the years. Boise CrossFit has been my best experience so far. Challenging workouts, quality facilities and excellent coaching. I would highly recommend this gym to anyone serious about fitness.

My wife and I joined Boise Crossfit about 6 months ago without ever stepping into a crossfit gym. This gym has changed our lives in such a big way. We've fallen love with the gym, coaches, and community. Thanks BCF.

I was on a work trip and decided to check out this gym that was nearby my hotel. Andrew introduced himself and was the nicest gentleman you could ever meet. After the intro began a soul destroying workout that left me in a sweaty heap on the floor. Perfect. Throughout the workout Andrew gave me some awesome tips on my rowing technique - the man knows his stuff that's for sure. Andrew pushed me hard and is just the kind of coach you want to get the best out of you. He also has a cool electric skateboard thingy that he zooms around on encouraging everyone on. The gym is smart, clean and the people are friendly and I'll be back when i'm next in Boise.

I get to drop in periodically at Boise Crossfit when I’m in town. The coaching is always top notch and the community always welcoming and fun. If I lived in Boise it would be a great choice for a home gym. Highly recommend!

Big/nice facility. Coach Shane was very friendly/inviting. However, after one drop in and the unprofessionalism displayed from the owner, I wouldn’t go back. As a CrossFit coach myself, maybe I have too high of standards for the other gyms that I drop into. But I also think and feel that CrossFit is heavily grounded in “community” and providing a welcoming space from ALL staff. Especially ownership. Drop in or new member you should always acknowledge and welcome the new unfamiliar face in the room. Shouldn’t matter if they paid $20 or $200.

Andy is a great trainer! Very knowledgeable and open to helping me as novice. The gym is great and the members are welcoming. I’m glad I joined and can be a part of the Boise CrossFit community

The facility is clean and well organized for various workouts classes that the instructor assigns. Andy has been my instructor for the times I have been in class and he shows excellent knowledge and experience in each of the exercises. Andy tailors the program to each persons ability while continuing to monitor their process to insure you achieve them safely. This is not like your typical gym lay out and everyone here is motivated and very supportive! I highly recommend Boise CrossFit for a regular membership or if your a drop in. Thank you!! MAL

Love this gym! Everyone is super friendly and while there are super advanced athletes, it’s welcoming to all levels. The coaches are very nice.

Discovered Boise CrossFit after checking out a few different CF gyms in the area. Hands down the best one out there :) Fantastic coaches, family like atmosphere, while still highly competitive.

Fantastic gym and very welcoming. If you’re a drop in (like I was) then I’d highly recommend Boise CrossFit. If I lived in Boise, I’d make this my home gym. I will definitely be visiting again.

Dropped in for a work out. Welcoming environment. Everybody in the class was friendly. Coach Andy was helpful and gave some great pointers on more efficient ways for some of the movements. Nice large box, great equipment, clean and organized. Really enjoyed my workout, looking forward to dropping in next time I’m in town.

Superb Crossfit gym, excellent instruction, fun place to train with experienced athletes who leave their egos at the door and teach you everything they know so you can learn and grow yourself. Two thumbs way up.

Can't rave enough about the programming! Warm ups are specifically designed to get athletes ready for the workout of the day and I think that is huge! Helpful coaches and welcoming community :)

I have been attending Boise CrossFit for two years. The coaches are really impressive with their level of knowledge about injury prevention, scaling workouts, body mechanics, and knowing each member's abilities, and helping everyone to achieve their best. It is a really fun atmosphere with friendly people. At age 60, I I have no more back and neck pain and am fitter now than all my years of doing regular gym workouts. The other CrossFit gyms I have visited pale in comparison to Boise CrossFit, so now I consider it a "standard" for CrossFit excellence.

The best. Andy and the other coaches provide detailed instruction in an environment of serious focus on proper form and practice perfectly balanced with levity and social interaction. The age and ability range of the members make it way less intimidating and more inviting. On top of that, the variety of times the classes are offered and the flexibility of attending around my schedule make it even better. If not now, when? 💪🏽
