This one goes to the directors / organisators of this museum: WHEN YOU DECIDE TO CLOSE THE WHOLE MUSEUM FOR VISITS FOR A WHOLE MONTH (because of the temporary expo change, duh!), YOU SHOULD ANNOUNCE IT ON YOUR WEBSITE AT LEAST A MONTH PRIOR TO THE DATE OF CLOSURE! Not on the day you close the museum itself. We have planned to visit your museum weeks before and scheduled our visit to Eskisehir. Our visit to this city was solely planned WITH THE MOTIVATION TO VISIT YOUR MUSEUM. Even a week prior to our visit (last week of july), there was no mention whatsoever about the closure until the 7th of September. On our arrival day the 2nd of august, we come to the museum to discover that it was closed due to temporary expo change. You could at least leave open the permanent expos… Anyways… it must be a great museum. But we could not visit because of the poor direction. Next time (if there ever will be a next time) I will call to check everyday prior to my visit to make sure you guys stay at your place…

Odunpazarı Modern Müze is a great new modern museum. The building is a beautifully designed contemporary building. The art and the way it is displayed is unique and will certainly catches your eyes. The diversity of the art work is exceptional. This is a must visit museum in Eskişehir.

We have just visited this Museum - literally 10 minutes ago. A beautiful space with an interesting collection of art by predominantly Turkish Artists. Thoughtfully curated and very accessible. However we did have an embarrassing, humiliating and difficult experience with a member of security staff. We decided to go to the cafe before going to the shop and exiting the museum. We were shouted at loudly by the member of security and told we could not enter the cafe. The security guard made such a drama and show towards us - we were so embarrassed. I do not understand why all areas of the museum are not accessible during your visit? A sit down, drink and then a look around the shop makes for a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Being shouted at does not. Very humiliating. Hence 3 stars only and a disappointing end to our visit. We did not spend any money in the shop - we left immediately.

Every single step was either inspiring or breathtaking, I loved the art pieces and how the stories behind each one is told perfectly, also the video project “the raft” is impressive! Tickets price is so reasonable (50tl) and worth it. The cafe is so calm and coffee tasted amazing!

Good modern art museum with a huge "but". You feel that you are not welcome there because of security staff. They are rude and will follow you with frowning faces until you leave the premises. They will not tell you anything or ask you for something. They'll just order you to do it. Maybe acceptable as performance if the exhibition was about prisons or wardens but not acceptable for everything else...

I don't like all modern art but this museum was quite good. The artists were talented, had clear and compelling messages, the architecture is stellar.

A world class contemporary art museum and a must see in Eskişehir. The building’s unique architecture enhances the experience. Artwork labels provide a catalog to the collection that enable viewers to engage the challenging works more deeply.

A chic museum with a very interesting exhibition design, we kind of like it. Definitely a recommended museum to visit if you are passing through or spending some time in Eskisehir…

A great museum for a quick tour since the museum itself is not really huge - only 3 floors and you can stroll around them for tops 1,5 hours. Totally recommended if u r in Eskişehir!

A modern art museum that you can not even found an museum like this in the capital of the country (Ankara). Although some people think that this building is the worst building designed by Kengo Kuma and it is incompatible with the region, I think the building is very beautiful and compatible with the surroundings. The museum's collection is a large collection and contains works by many Turkish artists. The cafe and restaurant of the museum are very good but the restaurant is unnecessary expensive, you can experience the food that belongs to Eskişehir much cheaper in restaurants that is close to museum. I think this museum will benefit Eskişehir's culture and art life and tourism just like the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao.

Best museum in Eskisehir if you like modern art. The architecture itself only is worth seeing.

It’s in a great location in Odunpazari. You could also strolling through the old Odunpazari houses and gift shops. Also OMM has its own gift shop and cafeteria. Charming structure and glamorous architecture… I loved it!😍 On the other hand it’s not a big and detailed museum as I expected. There are too few paintings. If you think that will be an art gallery, well I’m afraid you will be disappointed. But its worth to visit, I highly recommend…

Crowded place at weekend. Architecture of this building is the best part of it. Exhibition is questionable but ok.

The appearance of museum is impressive, very aesthetic, the simplicity and simultaneous complexity of the forms is fascinating. However, inside the museum, I lacked a description of the concept for many of the artworks

I have visited art museums in Paris, London, and Italy and honestly this is one is better than all of them combined! The building is very modern and airy, receptions are happy to help with lockers. You can download the descriptions of the exhibitions as a pdf via QR code, or read the signages next to the pieces. The art is very deep and introspective, with cultural ties of both the traditional and modern citizens of Turkey. The balance between photographs, videos, and other exhibits was perfect. There are 3 floors and a lift. The only downfall was the museum shop- items were not based on the very best pieces and were also quite expensive. Student discount accepted. Museumpass not accepted.

Been to few museums in Eskişehir, I felt like wasting that 50 TL to enter OMM, done the entire thing in like 20 min and seriously it's the only thing I regret visiting. The building is nice, staff are friendly, other than that just expect a hoard of teenagers trying to take selfies and a mediocre art.

It was nice but you will take 10 to 30 minutr max only

A perfect example of contemporary architecture. Connecting with the city with many different layers. The scale, the flow, urban aspects, and spatial quality. Every milimeter designed very carefully.

The architecture is eye catching interesting space. Also if you are art lover it could be such a nice place and must to visit it. Although some of art work as perfosional art follower don't fit to the space but some are truly considerable

This place is beautiful...the design of the museum is one of the kind and the piece of art in there are just something that leaves you wondering.

Beautiful and thoughtful. There is a coffee shop attached also that is excellent. No strollers are allowed and there are things kids should not touch.

Beautifully designed building, inside and out. Recommend visiting just for the museum, including walking around the exterior. Art on display was typical of western modernism. Primarily European and Turkish artists with one major installation by a Japanese artist. Seems very popular with locals. The quality of the art at the nearby glass museum was much higher. I suggest you visit OMM for the building and the glass museum for global-quality art.

Very disappointed. Was expecting much more. The highlight would be cafe, and some of the art pieces, besides that it's not really worth of a visit, unless you are close by and you are fan of Kuma.

Fantastic museum. Architecture and flow are both great. I’d probably visit this museum every time I’d come to Eskisehir. Parking is available in the area, overall neighborhood (Odunpazari) is great and with other museums as well. OMM also offers a nice shop and a beautiful cafe that should also pay a visit.

One of the best post modern pieces of architecture in Turkey. It was inspired by japanese and local odunpazari architecture. It's a must visit place in Eskişehir. I loved it. Amazingly designed. It was very crowded though. I'd definitely go as early as possible. It's a modern art museum so the exhibitions are changing from time to time. The rooftop on the top floor was closed unfortunately. I'd have loved to go out and watch the amazing site from there.

Just visit this museum if you can. You will not regret it even if you are not a museum type of person. Including the building itself, this museum is one of the most interesting museums in the country. And definitly the most interesting thing in Eskişehir. Just come visit it! 🙂

Very good price of architecture. It has been designed by very well known architect. It's worth to visit just for the architecture. Contemporary art pieces also successful.

Beautiful building with contemporary art inside. Some pieces came from Contemporary Istanbul
