The hotel is right in the middle of city, and the views from the rooms are amazing – you can see the whole city! The rooms are comfortable and great size. Hotel also has a great restaurant (with cultural and western menu options) where you can order room service or sit in and enjoy. The staff were also very helpful and professional.

My stay at the Churchill Hotel was great. My room was large, neat, and very accommodating. The staff was very friendly and happy to assist me at anytime during the day or night. On top of that, the room service always responsive and the food at the restaurant was so good that i could not get enough of it. The area was safe and close to most of the places i wanted to go either by walking or a short taxi ride. The staff was also very knowledgeable of the surrounding area and had many good suggestions.

I had the opportunity to stay two nights in this hotel. The hotel and the room were very clean. Service was superb. Wifi internet was fast and always available. Breakfast both mornings were excellent. They had tried their level best to fulfill all the demands which were within their reach. The Hotel shuttle was available both picking and dropping time from airport to hotel and from the hotel to airport.

Some of the staff was a bit rude, however majority was good. Hotel is a bit expensive. No negotiation, if some one booked on your behalf and your are not familiar. No muslim shower to wash your washroom. Tissue paper is availble through out country.

I stayed here when transiting through Addis as my original hotel Skylight Hotel was fully booked and so I thrown to Churchill hotel. I did not like the hotel. The food was not fresh and warm but I managed it for both dinner and breakfast. The room below par, I could find the air conditioning in the room. Well I had less than six hours to stay there so I just made do and in the morning I left for the airport. Ethiopian Airlines need to do a better job at managing the hotel bookings so that they do discomfort their customers and offer their esteemed customers such abysmal service.

Lovely hotel, pleasant staff, central and safe location. The amenities are good and working. It was a transit hotel for me and I didn't get the chance to explore much but it gave me a restful and peaceful night. The view from the restaurant balcony was amazing at night and I got to take some lovely pictures. Rooms in some Adis-Ababa hotels typically do not have air conditioners, I believe because of the cold weather. Overall, thumbs up. There was this really meek, gentle, hardworking man that attended to us both at the check-in, restaurant and check-out, he was very helpful. Kudos to Ethiopia Air for that choice.

It used to be a beautiful and luxurious hotel, now it needs renovation and new sheets and towels because the ones in the rooms have scratches. I paid €40 for 1 night in this room. On the plus side the size of the room and the bed, as well as the good dinner for only €5
