The inside and outside crew was very friendly to me. It was a quick and organized set up. Enjoyed the time the especially the outside workers were above and beyond.

Northern Illinois Food Bank is a great place to get food or volunteer. They have a large selection of food both perishable and non-perishable. They have everyone line up and then come in letting everyone pick what they want. So if there's something you know you or your family won't eat you can skip that item and move on to the next. If a holiday is approaching they offer a Turkey and if they have it, other items. You're able to come into the location to pick up food or if unable to they have a day where they can meet you at a designated spot to pick up your items. The volunteers are all very helpful and friendly. Most if not all volunteers here are Bilingual speaking both English and Spanish.

Northern Illinois food Bank is a lifesaver and this is very easy to register and to get food items! The volunteers are so friendly. They treat you like family!

They are a big help to my job at Jubilee center,they have donated so much food to our homeless day shelter.

They let people cut lines, hold spots for people who aren't even present. People can come at 1255 and get right to the front of the line. What's the point on being early and wait in the cold if people can just walk away for an hour and come back to the front of the line. This isn't middle school.

Great place! You walk thru like a grocery store so you can take what you need and leave what you won't for someone else. Very friendly staff. A++++

Now it sucks compared to when you could pick and choose. Anyone with food allergies don't get much of anything now. It's great they're still doing for the community, I'm just disappointed that there's no way to request safe foods.

You never know when you are going to need extra help with food, This place treats you with dignity and respect, and you shop like you are in a grocery store

Amazing what they do for the community, grateful with what I take home but some of the volunteers are racist. They always pick at the Hispanic/Latino people. Sad.
