Loved this place. They serve from breakfast to dinner. We went for breakfast and there was lot of options to choose from. Nice friendly servers. It is located right next to metra station and has good amount of parking space

I usually love this place, never had any issues at all. But am writing this because I feel like people should be aware. Me and my best friend ordered soup and a sandwich along with a skillet yesterday for a late breakfast, the soup was the first thing we had opened. And upon opening, we noticed little black lines in the soup - thank god right on the top. When my friend went to take her spoon to see what it was....it was a dead young cockroach --- its legs were what was floating to the surface! Clear as day. We were treated very fair by the staff, and we didn't make a big deal in front of their guests...but I feel like I will never be able to eat soup at any restaurant after witnessing this.....which is why I am writing this. I hope they check over there food more carefully and take care of any issues they have, because usually, when you see one there are more....and if that is the case, it definitely needs to be addressed. My stomach is still not settled after seeing a large bug served in a container of warm soup.....gross gross gross grosss! I can only imagine...what if it was not at the top for us to see??? Did not bother eating any of the other food we ordered and that was refunded to us after I had to drive there to bring it back to them (they only offered a credit to their restaurant over the phone when I called it in which I did not appreciate. Of course I will not be eating there anytime soon.). I also noticed they have had previous reviews regarding roaches....which is also why I am saying something about it in case there are other cases out there. A lot of older people go there, and I am sure a lot order soup. Be aware everyone! Thank you.

I love diners. This is a really nice one. I had the Roast Beef Pita and a bowl of Lentil Soup. The Pita was luscious. Au jus on the side. Lentil was a very flavorful broth. Not at all salty like a lot of restaurants. Great job. My server at the counter was very pleasant and fast!

Great family style restaurant! I ordered coffee with my breakfast and I haven't had coffee service where my cup was always full in a long time! All the staff were super welcoming and friendly. I look forward to coming back soon!

Finally a breakfast restaurant where the hashbrowns are REAL POTATOES and they're delicious and so r the gluten free pancakes, this place is always busy and I know why, service is very friendly and prompt

I have been going to this restaurant since my mom was pregnant with me since the late 1980's. The food is amazing! Owners are so wholesome. It's like going home when I'm there. Miss the Chicken Dijon though... Hint hint 😉 😍.

I've only ever ordered delivery, but I've heard good things about the in house dining as well. However, that's not why I'm here. I'm here to rave about their food. I've had a lot of their breakfast items and i've never been disappointed. Go ahead and get that hungryman skillet... you know you want to lol. The same thing goes for their lunch menu too. But what i'm stuck on right now is the cobb salad. It's always fresh, presented beautifully. It's a large portion, and it's delicious. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a healthier option. But they have such an extensive menu that you can find, basically, whatever you need to fit your diet. You guys rock! Thanks for countless delicious meals and many more to come!

I would give this establishment 10 stars if I could. I am a Georgia resident and in Addison for a family function, so this was my 1st visit to Christy's. The food, staff and ambiance really felt like a country diner back in the woods of Georgia with the friendly faces and selection of decor. Morgan our server was such a professional and at such a young age, the sincerity and efficiency demonstrated was astounding. She made me an iced coffee (at her suggestion as I wasn't in the mood for hot coffee) and wow was it delicious. I believe it was white chocolate but not a menu listed item as this was something she put together on her own. I was impressed! The pricing and quality, easily surpassed Starbucks or Dunkin. The owner was such a nice guy and had no problem speaking to his many patrons and lending a helping hand when needed. The food portions were incredible and the prices were extremely fair even with the inflation of goods in the economy. The Metra train station is across the parking lot so the convenience is something to be desired. I can see why this restaurant has been in business for many years. I already can't wait to return prior to my departure back to GA.

One place you don’t want to miss if you live around the are or if you’re planning on having good food. Located off the East bound on Irving park road next to the Wood Dale Metra Station, there is dedicated parking on each side of the building. Easy to access and exit, even coming from the opposite bound. The entrance has its own little enclosed waiting area for those days with inclement weather. It’s pretty friendly for the most park. The inside could get crowded, but not for the wrong reasons, since they will try to do everything in their power (without compromising safety) to accommodate large parties or as many guest as it’s safely possible. There could be a little bit of a wait if you get there on the wrong time or the wrong day ;) The service is quick and friendly. For the meals, you can count on almost anything American comfort (and some Hispanic influenced dishes), and they are all well served. With its Mediterranean influence, they are not shy when it comes to their portions. My family and I go there all the time, and we love it. We recommend you give yourself a chance to eat good.

A good neighbourhood restaurant , they have breakfast ,lunch and dinner options . Enough parking on premise with disabled parking as well as wheelchair friendly entrance . Servers are friendly and service is quick. All items we ordered were good and freshly made. They have lot of seating inside as well as in patio . Restrooms are clean and tidy . Overall a good experience .

Just arrived late last night at Ohair and stayed the night in the area. Went here for breakfast and was blown away. This is one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten in. Loved the Halloween decorations 👻 🎃 👻 🎃

Went with a friend and was seated immediately, and the food came out really fast. Well priced food that also tastes really good! All the employees were really nice and friendly. I'm definitely coming back here again.

A very nice place for breakfast. They have fun specials that are very yummy. The hollandaise sauce veggie crepes are fantastic. I like they always kept my coffee filled and checked in on us. Many home and family comforts.

Great food and not expensive. Everybody there is very friendly and family oriented. Great service. And for those who like to gamble they have slots in the back. Only opened until 3pm.

It was my first visit to Christy's. They have a great menu of breakfast, lunch and dinner options. The service was friendly and you felt like family. I ordered Pancakes, Scrambled Eggs and Sausage. The food came out quickly, it was hot and delicious. If you are looking for a casual meal, I would definitely recommend checking out Christy's.

Christy's is a great place to dine! We had a great experience at Christy's in our travels. From the time you walked in, everybody was very polite, professional and was on the ball. After the first visit we were so pleased we went back 3 more times before we got back on the road. And if you have a Gluten Free diet, please try this place because they have a GF menu and the GF pancakes are WONDERFUL!! One of my favorite go to places for breakfast or lunch. Lots of choices, friendly staff, yummy food. I got a soup and fruit. My friend got a burger without the bun. Reasonably priced. Food came quick, waitress was attentive. Love this place ❤️

Wow, I got take out from Christys. And had my expectations exceeded. I had a hungry mans omelette for me and 2 employees. I was pleasantly surprised. Very fluffy buttery omelettes with all kinds of delicious animals that would make a vegan cry, but I was hungry! The portion fits the name. I will definitely dine in soon. Thank You!

If you are in the area it's a must go for breakfast. The service is fast, friendly and accommodating....and the food is AMAZING! We ordered a corned beef omelette with their house made spicy katsup! The pieces of meat were huge and delicious --- they make all of their meats in house and it tastes like it!!! Tricia was our server and made our experience amazing on a day that we were in a rush!! Went in for breakfast during lunch time with my fiancé and two year old. We were seated by the door even tho the place was nearly empty. Waitress was friendly enough but didn’t take our orders correctly. When it was time to get the bill we noticed that they charged separately for items such as waffles that should have been included in the omelette or skillet breakfast. When ask about the charges she stated that the meals didn’t come with those items which wouldn’t be a problem if that was explained when we ordered. No explanation was given when we ordered telling us it would be an extra charge for those things. With that being said we were also not given or offered the options that all our meals included such as toast pancakes or mini waffles. The prices were not updated on the menu either. We spent $80 bucks for an average tasting breakfast that we normally spend $50-60 for at any other breakfast diner. Won’t be back.

We love Christie's! Nice senior menu, good prices, great soups! They are now only open two evenings, Friday and Saturday, we love the dinners, but they have a nice breakfast and lunch menu all week too.

Great diner. Obviously family ran and even just visiting for the weekend the staff got to know us and made us feel like this was home. Great food, great prices, this will be a staple for our Chicago visits go forward.

We’ve been coming to the Wood Dale/Bensenville area for hockey camp for five years. When we are here, we eat breakfast at Christy’s each morning. Food is delicious and staff is great. They open at 6:30 so we are able to get in and get out quickly in time for camp. Lots of choices for breakfast. Highly recommend!

Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast special is recommended! Big portions and affordable, reasonable, and friendly. This diner is special, cozy, friendly, and attentive. Their menu is diverse!
