As we were having a small Wedding, just under 65 people including the Wedding Party, we wanted somewhere for the Reception that was open but intimate. The Grove Garden area is this plus so much more. I had numerous meetings and discussions with Alex about a vision for the Reception and we could not believe how accommodating he was and the prices for a sit down meal with options of how many entrees, mains or desserts you wanted was less than half of the prices I was getting for other venues. We went with 2 entrée choices and 3 main choices with beef, chicken and fish the options. We had cupcakes for our dessert so we did not need a dessert option. We included canapes for when the guests arrived which were so delicious, it was arranged that the Bridal Party was given a plate of the canapes when we arrived. Alex also added in a chicken main for me as I wasn’t loving the choices on the function list. The guests could decide which meal they wanted it was not alternative drop. The amount of food was so impressive, no-one I spoke to was still hungry at the end of the night. At the last meeting we were introduced to Jordan who was taking over Alex’s position. Jordan certainly knew what she was talking about and put us at ease due to the change over so close to our Wedding Reception. When I emailed or called Jordan with last minute questions etc just as I found with Alex, Jordan was very accommodating and easy to talk with. When we arrived at our Reception we were over the moon with what Jordan and her team had done. It was everything I had envisioned for our Reception and so much more. Defiantly look at The Grove for your Wedding Reception. 10/10

Pleasantly surprised after changing up from our local on new years day. Simplified menu with generous portion sizes and fresh flavours. Plenty of seating inside and out in the beer garden. Some staff friendly, some very flat and disengaged.

We had 6 of us for lunch to celebrate my wife’s 80th birthday. We had a nice table the service was excellent and the food was fine, although rump steak which was on the menu was not available. But this in understandable as supplies everywhere are difficult. It is pleasing to go to a pub where table service is available, and as I said this was very good An enjoyable lunch

My partner and I had our joint 30th here recently and we could not recommend this place more! The staff were great and the food was yummy! Thank you again for accommodating our crazy costume party 🎉

Love this place great service and food. Love the beer garden it's such a nice atmosphere. Since this review my sister and I had our birthdays here and it was amazing. The staff were fantastic. The food was great and a lot of it. The venue manager was great he made everything flow with no issues. Definitely recommended this for any occasion.

Pretty good local pub, food offering is great and plenty of beers on tap. Dining rooms seperates the bar and outside dining so plenty to offer suiting all types. Friday/Saturday nights are busy so book in early

Excellent. Had Fish and Chops $15 menu. Great value and very tasty. Service at table excellent.

Looks cozy and great areas for private parties.. modern look and there’s live music every Friday, the only downside is it can be pretty noisy but all in all good tavern will come back again

We Celebrated our Baby Matteo's Baptism Here In November 2021, great atmosphere, lovely area sectioned off for ourselves, helpful staff and yummy food! Got balloons supplied and even a photo slideshow was playing on the tv off a usb I supplied prior! Couldn't fault this venue at all, will definitely be back - hopefully soon :)

Just celebrate our daughter’s 18th birthday here and we had a blast! The guest were all amazed how beautiful the place was. The garden decor was perfect with my daughter’s party theme, we hired somebody for the background wall and it complemented the whole area perfectly. Used the small tv for the slideshow and the huge tv for like fixed wallpaper and video greetings. Alex was very accomodating and helpful, he made sure everything would be arranged as planned. Food was great the crew did a great job!

The staff are great, the atmostphere is great, really liked the outside bar area with the seating, tents and pop up bar. Whilst there is a handful of vegan options, I was kind of disappointed. The last time we went they had amazing vegan options and a few more than currently. This time I shared the panko cauliflower (this was the best thing and was absolutely delicious), the falafel burger (I understand what they tried here, it just wasn't all that great and a bit dry- and there was heaps more chips just someone had eaten them before I could get a photo) and the veggie bowl - this was mostly rice with a little of the salad in it. I think if they had added more of the salad this would have been amazing. By all accounts from non vegan food was good according to the people I was with.

Great staff and atmosphere. Clean facilities. Usually, they have some awesome bands playing. Not much dancing rooms but it is what it is. Outdoor spaces are decorated nicely and encourage a friendly environment with a separate extended beer garden providing a small smoking area.

Recently had our daughters 21st here. Adam and his team were fantastic. The venue was spectacular and our guests couldn't stop talking about how good the food was. Thanks for a great night

We both had beef schnitzel, worse "food" we have had in a long long time.. a strip of beef jerky with a thick coating of concrete crumbs should have been the description in the menu. They need to retire the "cook" and hire someone from MacDonald's!

We had our sons Baptism reception at the Grove today and I can not explain how happy and grateful I was for the beautiful food and service! The staff were amazing. Very rare to find staff as amazing, competent and helpful as them. Definitely the best venue we have ever used for our events. I can not thank the staff enough for making our day so perfect. And the food was delicious, so thank you to the kitchen staff also!

We celebrated our gender reveal party at The Grove.The decoration, service and the food was amazing. The staff were friendly and we enjoyed it.

Staff took are drink order and it took 20min for 2 drinks to be bought to us there was only 1 other table of 3 people it was very quiet. Food was very average my salad on my plate was not good at all. We just got are entre then they bought out are main meals.

We had a group of 20. All our food came out in a timely manner. Everyone enjoyed their meals. Staff were friendly and efficient.

Unfortunately my family just had one of the worst meals at the Grove. The roast beef was tough, chewy & poorly cut. I suspect it was leftover from lunch. The Crab was badly peeled & the only thing we could taste was the excessive amount of batter. Considering the crab was $32 to say we are unhappy is an understatement. Won't be going back which is sad because The Grove is our local pub.

I ordered the rump steak , it was in eatable , couldn’t cut it tried one bite , it did not taste like rump steak had an odd taste to it , wasn’t just me others tried it and said it was bad tasted like fake meat, took home doggy container for my dog who loves steak and she wouldn’t eat it, for the price they charge was disgusting, my daughter ordered gluten free burger and that was served with boiled potatoes instead of chips , weird , we were all not impressed

We sincerely thank Alex and all the staff at The Grove, for helping to make Werner's 70th Birthday Celebration such a wonderful occasion. 55 people attended the function in the Garden Room and there were only positive comments from guests regarding the venue, the menu, the setting out of the room, the distribution of the cake and the overall setup. The conduct of the staff and attention to detail was excellent. Thank you again Alex and staff for helping to make it a wonderful experience, on the day.

We recently hired the Sports Bar for my husbands 60th. The area was fantastic and the food and staff were amazing. Thank you to all who made it a great night☺

This place used to run really well but staffing changes have led this place down in quality. Poor Food quality and inconsistent meals day to day. Service gets worse every time I visit. Most items overpriced and manager unwilling to keep loyal customers happy.

Great service, great food, great team! My mum held her 60th on the deck here a few weeks ago. And although we had a minor hiccup with subsidized drinks on the night - the team went above and beyond to make amends. Ended up being an all-round great night, and we'll most definitely be back soon. Cheers!

Good pub food, I wouldn't stray away from the classic pub meals though. Good service throughout a fully booked lunch. No charge for cakeage which was a welcome surprise!

Went for paint and sip. My girlfriend and I had an amazing time. I really enjoyed the whole experience including cocktails. Delicious snacks they handed out too.

Visited for the first time for quiz night and was blown away with how good the food was. Myself and my team will definitely be back :-)

Our local it's either a hit or a miss, tonight 3rd August was a big miss.. ordered waffle and chicken, wish I took a photo 3 tiny pieces of chicken no bacon, and two huge waffles.. seriously for $26 KFC is better to get your chicken meals. Normally a great place but not tonight..

Enjoyed a well overdue night out with the girls, the entertainment Frenzy was great. The staff were exceptional, Adam the manager was accommodating and organised for two friendly young staff Mitch and Jack to set up an area to cater for us, and Bailey behind the bar was fun and friendly, the entire service from the staff was amazing including the security on the evening. Looking forward to another evening there in the near future

Nice seating indoor and outdoor areas, easy parking. Menu had limited healthy options and no smaller healthy meals/salads etc. Chips did not taste fresh. Reheated?

Absolutely lovely atmosphere in the fully enclosed beer garden. Heaters all round to keep you warm in the cold weather. Pizzas were yummy, not the largest pizza I’ve seen but was the perfect size, especially for $20. My partner had a gluten free pizza with vegan cheese and it was the most like normal pizza he has had! So kudos to The Grove for pulling that off. Staff were all lovely and efficient. Will definitely return to try other menu options.

I just held my baby shower here in their function room , I can’t thank Alex and the team enough for all of the help when organising and making sure my day was organised and perfect! I hired their green wall as well which helped tie everything together so perfectly! It was absolutely beautiful, the food was amazing and I will most certainly be back here for my future events!

Very, very average experience. This used to be great place, with really decent food. Wanting to support local we came back. What a disappointment. Food - less than average. Bruschetta made out of burger bun and than grilled to oblivion in salamander? Dry burgers, average parmigiana. 45 minutes to get food to the table in 3/4 empty place. Service - bartender was very good and tentative, friendly and really the only positive. Kitchen closes at 8:30 on public holiday but there is nowhere that actually says that. Oh, and chef than decides that he will close kitchen at 8:15 and bowl of chips for our kids was all to hard and they didn’t make it. Asked if we can get desert at 8:25, answer was no, kitchen is cleaned. But kitchen is apparently open until 8:30. Place should really look up what is the definition of “hospitality” and perhaps rethink guest experiences here.

I came here recently with my friends and we were treated very disrespectfully by the bar manager who’s name is Alex. He came across as quite creepy towards us and made us very uncomfortable by noticeably perving and flirting while we were trying to order/wait for our drinks. Not to mention our drinks came with mouldy strawberries! Would not recommend this place. Spend your money elsewhere.

Just stopped for lunch. Very impressed. Had lunch in the Sports Bar. Great prices, good value meals, friendly staff. Will definitely be back.

Have come for the Fizzy Pop show....very nice atmosphere in the tavern. My roast lamb was very generous but tasteless and tough. Disappointed as I don't cook roast lamb often and was looking forward to it. The vegies and potatoes were good. My husband had chicken schnitzel which was nice although he said the chips were soggy. Salad on the side was a bit limp. I will come again.

Held our engagement party at the Grove in the private garden function room. We couldn't be any more happy with how our night went. Staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. I highly, highly recommend having your next function here with plenty of options to suit your event and very reasonable prices. 10/10 experience, big thanks to all the staff!

Xmas Function for 29 guests. A fabulous night, with great food, excellent service. All guests are keen to book again for next year. Couldn't complain about anything. Thank you to the Grove Tavern for making our night special.
