Had a meal, chicken parmi with salad n chips which was delicious and a bundy. Also enjoyed some live music. Got chatting with a nice local lady. None of the staff were friendly and seemed like they did not want to be there. I would go back for another meal.

Mixed feelings I have to say. Took my elderly Dad for his Birthday dinner on Thurs, we arrived before 6pm and ordered soon after. Unfortunately for us 3 x challenges were ordered well after ours & the kitchen focused on those. Other people who ordered just before us, got meals, had eaten and left and I had to ask about ours after hearing the challenge meals were 5 mins away. An outing that should have taken 45-60mins tops took over 90mins, not good enough! The challenge meals should be served in order not given priority. I have given 3 stars only due to the squid and schnitzel being cooked well.

A must stop and try. The service is incredible - staff are amazingly friendly. And it somehow isn't the pubs best feature. The meals are both delicious and huge. schnitzels were so tender they could have been pulled apart with a fork. An outstanding venue I look forward to visiting again.

Great place to meet up with friends for a few quiet ones or for a coffee. Very roomy inside with a warm friendly atmosphere. The staff are lovely and very accommodating. The outside area is fantastic with it's wood tables and warm inviting fire pit. Great area to sit back and listen to live bands. I saved the food til last as it's outstanding. The meals are served piping hot and absolutely massive. If you're like me and are a small eater then they have that covered with take away containers to take your meal home. The taste of whatever you order will be sensational and well worth the small wait between ordering and receiving your meal. You guys are awesome and well worth the time to go see them. 10/10 score from one very devoted person

We knew we would stop here in the free overnight camping area on our way through but we're going to be too late for food, I called the pub and they told us it wasn't a problem, order when we are 10 mins away and they would sort it out, its exactly what they did, we pulled in and our food was waiting for us, really good large portions and very tasty, we really appreciated the service, nothing was too much trouble

If you're after great food and service come to the Flinders Rest! 2022. Massive meals, bring a big appetite and if you can't finish your meal, ask for a doggy bag. Fantastic place.

Had a great night thanks heaps to the staff specialy one lady she helped us with everything even spoilt our grandkids will be back again meals were yummy the only thing I will say is when someone is taking orders ask if they want chips and salad as a lot of pubs just put it on Ur plate cheers again great night

Wow the meal was amazing , couldn't fault it at all. Service was great. It was the perfect setting lovely , casual and comfortable.

Been to this establishment twice and was blown away twice. Great selection of beers and the food is out of this world. Massive serves and quality food. The staff are down to earth and friendly folk. Been working away in the area for most of the year and wish I fell upon this joint early. Worth the drive. Good on you ya bloody legends, keep up the good work.
