Stayed in the motel room out the back for the Snowy Valley Cycling Challenge. Room was very tidy and comfortable. What made the place outstanding for me was the effort the owners went through to make the stay as pleasant as possible. Fantastic value for money.

Nice barista. Decent coffee. He follows all the right coffee making etiquette like flushing the group head before and after extraction (even cleans his filter basket) also grinds your beans fresh instead of pre-filling the hopper. Just wished they stocked better coffee. Pretty t/a cups though. Would stop in again.

Nice people who run the House. I was there for the fires and the owner went out of his way to make sure you had what you needed. The accomodation is a tad bit dated. Good value for someone on a budget.

Nice people who have it. Storm damaged restaurant so no meals available. Very basic motel rooms clean. But lacking in a lot of things. Its a work in progress. Bed to hard. Bed to big for room where a bed and base would give another 25cm to walk. Electric blanket needed to be off bed in summer. Electric jug not very good the water was never hot enough. . A tray that the jug could sit on would be good. Also another tray to hold cups & saucers, bread and butter plates needs more than one spoon and 2 knives. A couple of cereal bowls would be handy and at least 2 spoons and 2 teaspoons. A few packets of margarine would be helpful. Other things that are needed, detergent to wash dishes a chuz and teatowel. The cups are too tiny better off replacing with a mug. The shower curtain was dirty and too long. 3 shampoos but no conditioner. Shampoo had a strange unpleasant smell. Had to rewash hair. Bathroom window was old-fashioned permanent louvers not suitable for any season. Hot air coming in. Sliding door to bathroom didn't have glide rail on floor so was swinging free. Two mirrors were placed far to high on walls only one is needed and a nice print above aircon. Aircon works well kept room nice and cool. Outside area could do with a good sweep to remove cobwebs, dirt, leaves etc. Plants in tubs need weeding and watering. Good luck folk hope you manage to update and get things back on track.

Tiny motel room, tired decor and barely clean. Outside area unswept and cluttered with old cars. Inside main house area dishevelled and smelly. Owner appears to take little interest in keeping premises in smart condition. Poor value. Whole premises requires TLC and professional care. website pictures not indicative of current state of accommodation.

Clean but a bit tired. Some rooms more like a hostel. Price varied from person to person. Owner was friendly and helpful.

["The owners were extremely accommodating - fit us in at the very last minute on a long weekend , school holiday and Saturday night. Just can't thank enough! Rooms are very comfortable and charming- look forward to the return trip. Nice bed and breakfast and such a relief when 10 other places in the area did not have any availability. Ample parking on Main Street Tumut rd or on site- ideal for car club stays and the like - thanks Mr B !!",null,[0,238]]
