A beautiful new park built on the banks of Little Khabur and at the foot of the remarkable Delal Bridge. It’s a great place for taking a walk whether it be at night or at daytime.

The beat area for walking and running, if you want to refresh the corniche is the place to go!

Building beautiful parks is essential. Well done. However, building beautiful minds is highly recommended at this stage. There are residential areas where people terribly suffer from muddy roads and lack of services such as electric pillars. Delays in payments, which is deliberately done by the officials. As a result, beautiful parks are not going to make people happy.

Great place, excellent new corniche, nice scenary, free

This is one of the best corniche projects in Zakho and the entire Kurdistan region. It’s the perfect place to bring your family for a walk, chill out, and enjoy the wonderful views—all for free. Highly recommended for a relaxing day out!

The corniche, which has been built on 75,000 square meters, will serve as a tourist attraction in Zakho Independent Administration. The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has allocated 11.5 billion IQD (over 7.8 million USD) to the six-kilometers-long project that will be built along the Khabur River that runs through the city before joining the Tigris at the tripoint of Iraq, Syria, and Turkey.
