Had the Hot Italian, which was a great sandwich with some spice but packed with flavor. They are family owned and employ local young people. Definitely want to make it a common stop from now on! (Went back for a gyro and the Southern Comfort. I would eat the gyro everyday and the Soco wasn't bad, just not as good as the others) Added the Angry Gobbler to the list. It has a good amount of kick but with a ton of flavor! The chicken Clucker was a great sandwich for something that's savory, tangy, and a little sweet. This is another great menu item.

When someone makes a claim for "best gyro in town," it sets my expectations pretty high. I was not disappointed. The meat portion was very generous, the pita was soft, and overall the gyro was incredible. I will be back! The people serving the food were friendly. I had a great experience.

Great food and customer service. Gyros are great, Philly cheese steaks are only OK (wish they could make them to order). They also have a few not-typical-convenience store items that are nice to have on offer.

I can't say enough great things about the deli. Their food is amazing! That gyro, omg it's amazing. But even better than the food is seeing how the owners care about their staff, care about the community they serve, and care about each individual customer. I don't care where you live, go to Kirkwood and check out the deli

The gyro lived up to the hype! They also have a nice little area if you are looking for some St. Louis food products. Don’t be intimidated by the convenience shop location. Go inside and enjoy some delicious food to go.

A Very Good Gyro. I'm pretty sure the people who served me had "dark hair" but they were very friendly. It is a solid portion and has lots of flavor, especially the meat. I'm lactose intolerant and I could handle the feta cheese quite well, must have a lower lactose content. Would recommend, and is conveniently located in Kirkwood.

The BEST gyro I've had in my many years...consistently the best. I want to try the other sandwiches because they sound so good, but I always get the gyro. Friendly owners.

Stopped in to restock some vodka that we are low on supply. Decided on Smirnoff on sale. This was a simple purchase. The clerk was very courteous and professional.

Best Gyro in St.louis hands down, lots of meat with no fluff, the tzatziki sauce is on point.

I went for the first time today after living here for just over a year. I ended up going for lunch and dinner it was so amazing! Had the gyro for lunch, and it’s the best I’ve ever had! Lots of meat, very high quality meat, perfect tzatziki sauce. Just perfect! Got there a little late for dinner and the deli wasn’t open anymore so we grabbed a chicken Philly and a beef Philly from the warmer and they were also awesome! Can’t wait to bring my boyfriend back to try the gyro!

Having had my fair share of gyros growing up in a family with Greek restaurants, the Kirkwood Deli team serves up an amazing gyro. In addition to its delicious taste, the portions are very generous with the right amount of tzatziki sauce. The team members were very friendly as well. The family will be back for more.

Horrible food now, really gone down hill, $9 for a rotten soggy bagel ham and cheese sandwich that should of been thrown away 2 hours before I bought it, Gyros are crusty and warmer burnt now too......terrible food now. You'd be better off with a microwaved sandwich from a gas station for half the price at this point
