It was dirty. The carpet looked like it has never been cleaned before. Everything was old. The night lamp was rusty and was falling apart. The doors to the balkony didn't close well which lead to a lot of outside noise. And there was a lot of that since the hotel is near a speed way and traffic was non stop. There is also a church right next door which bells echoed in the early mornings. So much for the "noise cancelling" rooms the hotel claims to have. The toiletries were just a half-used liquid soap. No shampoo, no shower gel. The description of the hotel claimed to have hair dryer and an iron but none were found when we came. They did give us ones but we had to ask specifically. The room was very tiny because a lot of it was taken by the makeshift bathroom inside of it. The door to the bathroom did not close well. There was also no shower curtain. There was only one towel per person so no little towel for feet/hair.

Bad bad and dirty hotel room. Condition Is really bad: lock of door Is broken, carpet Is full of dusty, hair, dirtyness, old furnitures, tiles are falling down from the wall. Bathroom and toilet are dirty like have not been cleaned for long time. Nobody Is In reception for any matter. Receptionist give keys and disappeared. Is nothing good To say about this hotel In service and condition. Was terrible choice.

this place is disgusting and the staff knows it. as soon as we walked into this hotel the lady asked if we were video recording because they would have to cancel our reservation if we are going to film in their hotel. that alone explains their knowledge of the inadequate conditions of their hotel. there is no care or compassion for their business and it truly shows. we expressed our concerns with some of the locals and they apologized to us for this hotel being a representation for Greece. as we entered the building the reception looked clean and tidy. looked up to date and actually nice and inviting. but as soon as they take your money you realize you e made a mistake. the room was not only dirty. but no air conditioning. the fan was broken. so we were forced to sleep with the door open to the balcony where the sounds of heavy traffic mix with police and ambulance sirens screaming all night because its across the street from the hospital. people smoke in the hotel and it's hard to breathe in the hallway. the "wi-fi" you get only works in the reception area. the shared bathrooms (all of them) are each either broken, out of order, or needs an out of order sign. the toilet leaks poop water all over the floor, so while doing your business your clothes are soaking up someone else's previous poop juice.. there is no shower curtain so everything gets wet anyways. not to mention there is only cold water. this building needs to be condemned by the city and the staff are aware and just ignoring it to make money... they told us a storm just happened and they are renovating... I just read a previous review where they told someone the same thing over 2 years ago. these people are scam artists and I highly recommend finding somewhere else to stay. I will be reporting this place to the city in the mean time.

PLEASE, IF YOU SAVE MONEY, IT IS NOT WORTH IT IN SUCH A LOCATION! BETTER SLEEP IN THE CAR OR EVEN ON A BENCH IN A PARK .BUT NOT HERE !!! I THOUGHT THEY WERE DECENT CONDITIONS AT AN AFFORDABLE PRICE BUT THE HOTEL SERVICES LEFT DESIRED. YOU CAN GET SICK, NOT THE CROWN VIRUS, BUT ALL THE DISEASES!

Nothing special... Well its a 1-star hotel, so the quality is adequate to the category. Not very clean rooms with some insects, without a fridge, the common bathrooms are also quite bad... But I had a balcony with a side sea view, the staff was quite friendly, I could use also their fridge and printer. And the location is perfect, near the VIP area of Voula, directly on the seashore, and you have everything around... kiosk, restaurants, fast food, and a bus stop... For 2 nights it was ok, because I wanted to save money, but its not recommended for a longer stay...

Amazing sea view... We were welcomed by a kind staff who immediately showed us the room. Clean, quiet, near to the Airport bus station(X96). Price was good.

The location is nice, right by the beach, some shops around, but at this price you can't expect much, clean room with bed, air conditioning, but the place doesn't look very well, a renovation might be needed.

Honestly, am glad I stayed for 1 night only. First of all they scammed us with the card machine at the reception, the receptionist said that both her card machines did not work and we had to go withdraw money from the ATM near by which charges 3 euros for withdrawals. When I came back and told her that the ATM did not accept my card, I overheard her talking with the ATM owner who from what I understood was a friend telling her that she send many people there and had the same problem(in a very familiar way, kind of like they were sharing the profits from the ATM) . All of a sudden the Card Machine worked and we paid. We got the keys went to our room, I dont even know where to begin with... First of all the doors do not have a lock you just go in close the door and thats it, I could open my room door from the outside with an id card just by sliding it in the locking mechanism. Everything inside the room dated back to end WW2 era, best case 60s. Honestly am the easiest person ever, but am not joking when am saying I have never slept on a more terrible/uncomfortable mattress than that, if the carpet was clean I would prefer to sleep on it. Balcony door's locking mechanism was a long nail bolt going threw a hole someone made. Of course there was no airconditioning. Shared toilets were terrible, at least the ones that were in working condition, I dont even want to talk about the shower. I paid 30 euro for a night for 2 people and got what I deserved...Other than that location is really nice, beaches are amazing, they have nice seafood restaurants close by and I manage to stay for 1 night without getting robbed. Next time I'll pay the extra money and stay somewhere decent for sure!

This place is a shining example of how not to run a hotel. If you're looking for an experience that combines the essence of a prison cell with the ambiance of a landfill, then congratulations, you've found your dream destination. Let's start with the "friendly" staff. I swear they must have gone through a rigorous training program to master the art of customer service shithousery. They greeted me with looks that could freeze a volcano and treated my requests with the enthusiasm of a snail on sedatives. Clearly, customer service is just a myth here. Furthermore, let's talk about the rooms. I've seen more spacious shoeboxes. The walls were so thin that I could hear my neighbor's thoughts. It was like living in a reality show, only without the excitement or prize money. The beds felt like they were designed to break your back and guarantee a chiropractor visit upon checkout. I'm pretty sure the mattresses were injection molded with reinforced concrete mix collected from Mount Olympus itself. The bathroom was an experience I'd like to forget, but alas, the nightmares persist. The shower had two settings: boiling lava or freezing Arctic. I couldn't decide whether I was in need of a sauna session or an ice bath, so I just danced in and out of the spray like an absolute madman. The towels were so thin, I could have used them as dental floss. I have to give them credit for consistency; the food was consistently awful. I'm convinced the chef practices as an experimental chemist past 5pm. The "buffet" resembled a science experiment gone wrong, with dishes that seemed to have been created by a blindfolded cook who had never tasted food before. I can't say for certain what I ate, but I suspect one of the salads had been marinating in motor oil. Bon appétit, indeed! the Miramare hotel Voula is a masterclass in how to disappoint even the lowest of expectations. If you're a fan of close to NO service, uncomfortable accommodations, and meals that double as biohazards, then this is the place for you. For the rest of humanity, do yourselves a favor and avoid this Greek tragedy at all costs. Trust me, it's not worth the Instagram likes.

This was the third time in a row that we spent New Year's Even in Miramare Hotel, because we love it! The hotel offers cozy rooms, balconies that wrap around the corner with nice views, proximity to the beach, and convenient access to eating places. As far as Athens goes, the location is unbeatable.
