Stay away from this place. I had 6 donor embryo transfers there with eggs from 3 different donors. The only reason I kept going back is because my doctor from the UK suggested I stick to the same clinic in Greece since they were familiar with my case. Big big mistake. The doctor never tried anything different, which thinking back on it now, is absurd to me. I never even got a chemical pregnancy. After years and money wasted on Embio I was about to give up but was suggested by a friend that maybe I should try another clinic before giving up. I went to Serum IVF in Greece and BAM pregnant first time. with a healthy child now. Look, the staff at Embio are very nice. But they can't do their job. If they could I would have gotten pregnant. I mean after 6 transfers it would be reasonable to think I would have gotten at least one pregnancy. They never had any suggestions as to why it wasn't working. Serum did. And that's why it worked.I wasted tons of money and time with Embio. Don't do the same.

On the clinic website it is written that the consultations are free and that they are performed by a doctor, however, the doctor was present for literally 1 minute, the other "professional" consultations were performed by a nurse. In addition to the 1 minute that the doctor "devoted" to us, he literally set aside another 20 seconds for the ultrasound (just for the reason to charge us for the visit) without any explanation. In addition, we waited more than 30 minutes for the scheduled appointment.

This is a horror story, absolutely horrible. You should read the 1 star reviews to really understand. We we didn’t and ended up in hospital for 3 days without any back up. Dr. Paraschos is an absolute arrogant, unclean hands touching everything and unclean instruments, unprofessional. We realised this in first appointment but stupidly didn’t cancel. Please keep away from this place. Just adding to your reply, there is no mistake. I have covered the Coordinators name because they only work to your guidelines, but they mistake is that they are not reporting your wrong practice.

For aslong as I can remember, I always knew I wanted children. I always thought that with the right boyfriend/husband I would start a family. Unfortunately, it didn't turn out that way, every boyfriends who came into my life either weren't ready for a family or simply didn't want children. Thats when my fertility journey began, when I realized that if I wanted to have children, I would have to do it on my own. In Sweden, where I live, IVF treatment for single women was allowed quite recently. Today, women have the right to IVF treatment according to the until the age of 45. When I decided to have children on my own, I contacted Swedish healthcare. I then learned that for me it was too late for IVF treatment even though I had not turned 45 yet. Even though it was allowed IVF treatment for single women, there was a waiting list of between 2-3 years before it would be my turn. By that time, I would have reached the age of 45 and I had no longer the right to fertility treatment according to Swedish law. That's when I started contacting different fertility clinics around Europe. Some responded quite quickly and others took a couple of months before I got a response. Some didn't feel right because I felt they saw their entire treatment activities as one big business. Having children costs money regardless of whether you get medical help or not. But there are many emotions involved when trying to have a child, it's not just a business transaction. And then to have to do it on your own it's even more emotional. I was feeling pretty down after dealing with a number of clinics. I decided to email Embio Medical Center, I hoped they wouldn't take so long to respond but also that they didn't have the same negative attitude as the other clinics I had come into contact with. I must say that I was pleasantly surprised when they not only answered my email immediately but also contacted me by phone. There was a positive connection right away, it felt like they actually wanted to help me to have a baby. Eventually I got in touch with Dr. Thanos Paraschos and with Anna Karamitrou IVF coordinator. It was not always easy but they had a positive attitude that helped me throughout the treatment, Dr. Thanos Paraschos with his medical knowledge and Anna Karamitrou explining every step during the treatment in a simple and understandable way. Anna was wonderful not only during the treatment itself but also in other practical aspects such as accommodation, transfer from the airport to the clinic/accommodation. So convenient! My kids both came down with fevers and I wanted to get them tested for Covid just to be safe. I found EMVIO IDIOTIKO POLYATREIO IATRIKI LTD, and was so happy that they didn't require appointments and offered Drive-up tests. We went right over and only had one car in front of us. We have a horrible experience of EmBIO after going through a PRP-treatment in 2023. Very long waiting, chaotic waiting room, no information given for hours and lack of care and communication from the staff. Had to wait about 6 hours fasting until my treatment started, spending about 9 hours total in the clinic that day. This was overall a very traumatic experience and my husband and I promised ourselves to never enter this clinic again. The day after we booked an interview with another clinic in Athens where our experience was exactly the opposite and we couldn't recommend more. Please contact for more information.

Dr Paraschos and Embio team made my dreams come true and I welcomed the most beautiful little girl back in October. Using Your IVF Journey made going abroad for our fertility treatment much less daunting than if we had done it on our own. Dr Paraschos and embio team were really helpful and led us step-by-step through the process, making everything very clear. They provided practical details, such as how to access the drugs in the UK with a foreign prescription. The information guide was so useful when we were in Athens Greece, including everything from where to stay and eat to how to purchase tram tickets. As a result our trip felt like a kind of mini-break in a beautiful city, and not the stressful experience I was expecting! The clinic was organised, professional and caring. Again we felt like every step and choice was clearly explained. The cost is so much less than the UK and we couldn’t have asked for better care. We were delighted to welcome our baby boy into the world in November. He is totally adored by us!!! It is mind-blowing to think that without Embio he would not be here. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received at Embio ivf unit. The receptionists and midwifes were friendly and extremely helpful. Dr Paraschos was so attentive and thorough. He managed to diagnose and treat a problem that had been causing my unexplained infertility. The level of care and support I received was second to none and I couldn’t be more grateful.
