A great place to be, beautiful scenery and great photo opportunities! The market was small and cute - loved it. The staff were super kind and friendly, they made us feel comfortable and weren’t afraid to haggle ;)

Entrance 4€ / 40 MD It's small but totally worth a visit. If you don't want to sit down for a tea, you probably won't need much more than 30-45 min to walk through it and take some nice photos. We went there around midday and it was pretty empty, so we had the place almost to ourselves. It's best to take a taxi and the driver may offer to wait for you outside, which I would recommend, since there's no other way of transport anywhere close. And walking all the way back to the Main Street in the heat is no fun ;)

This is an attraction that show what the architecture would have been like in Morocco Adadir. It has a restaurant, cafe & various shops. You're looking at 1-2 hrs typical visit. Ticket was 40MAD each. Parking is in either the small courtyard in front or on the street. The street is free, but may have to tip the courtyard attendant.

It's a perfect place to take photos. There are lovely little craft shops. The prices even cheaper than in the market. Do not go there by bicycle or foot . It's a middle of nowhere and there are a lot of stray dogs in the area. Go by taxi and ask the driver to wait for you. Morning is the best time for visiting. They open at 9.

Absolutely beautiful place. Unfortunately most of the artisans don't accept credit cards so make sure you bring cash as some beautiful jewelry and crafts. The buildings are tactile, intricate and intriguing. This is what Agadir looked liked before the 1960's earthquake. A city of beautifully wrought stone, wood and pottery. High culture by people who obviously valued art and living amongst beauty. Well worth a visit. Would go again.

Was a great place to visit. Doesn’t take very long to tour. Really intricate details to admire. Has a little restaurant to check out. Was not very busy while walking around which made it nice. A few little shops on the inside for touristy purchases. Worth a visit.

the views are incredible we pay 40 dh to enter also they got a restaurant to order(for example Sidi Ali1,5L is 15dh), I didn't like how it's dirty (they should clean it) plus there's just few sellers selling Moroccan accessories(it is on construction). They treated us with respect and a lot of kindness, if you're into Moroccan cultural especially the amazigh I recommend it for u.

An incredibly beautiful place and a must-see in Agadir. Looks really authentic and wasn't crowded this morning. There is also some kind of backyard or garden which is a bit littered, because it seems still to be under construction but also worth walking around. There are a lot of peacocks (I have never seen so many in one place), another very beautiful ancient building and old workshop buildings there. You can also buy typical souvenirs (the sellers are less pushy than in the Souks) and have a drink or lunch at the café. Highly recommended for a visit in the morning when the weather is not too good and hot yet, which seems to be the case most mornings.

Entrance is 40 dirhams (4$), for adults and 20 for kids up to 12 years. Nice place to walk around with lots of souvenirs shops inside and restaurant with ok prices. Few hours should be enough, plus some time for restaurant with authentic Moroccan food. There is parking, you give few dirhams for guy who wll look after car. In Maroco there is no parking machines. Some guy will aproache and will ask some small change

The best place ever. It is incredibly beatitude, calm and pretty. It is so beautiful to walk around it. It takes around an hour to walk around and worth it. There are beautiful peacocks surrounding it. Definitely recommend!!

The medina in Agadir is worth a visit. One however should not take too long to visit, ideal to combine with a few more visits in the area. Arrange for the driver to either wait or come back to save yourself time 😁. It's really nice but a tour won't last too long and it seems like it's never too crowded which still gives you that nice feeling of being on your own. Lovely place for pictures and taking you back into the old town before the earth quake in 1960.

This is a wonderful hidden treasure just outside Agadir, beautiful buildings from the old Agadir and Morocco. This place is not crowded at all, and you will be able to find peach and quiet when you are walking around and enjoying the stunning Arkitektur. We had breakfast there it was incredible with moroccan argan and honey 🍯 just amazing 🤩 1-2 hours visit to do

For all my influencer girls, this is the place to be to make those poses and spoil yourself with nice pictures. The food is delicious , I can’t describe how much the “tajine de chèvre” is excellent, you’d eat your fingers after.

Lovely place to walk around and enjoy the views and architecture. There are plenty of things to see and do. On site restourant will feed you, and craft shops are welcoming and happy to explain and talk about their art, etc. It's not the cheapest of places regarding restaurants and craft shops but well worth the visit.

Read about its history before you come Lovely picturesque medina Everything you see is breathtaking. Hidden away from the main street it opens its doors of magical world! There was even a peacock waiting for us. We paid 40 dirham each for our visit

Okay… It’s great for photos, the place is stunning. It’s very small too I did it all in 45 mins. No one was there, I was the only one there at one stage. I felt sorry for the venders trying to sell their goods as there is hardly any custom. There was a cafe and a restaurant I didn’t try either. It’s 40DH to enter. I paid 100DH round trip in a cab from agadir. Great for the gram.

This place is beautiful, the level of thought put into the details is just impressive. It's a bit sad that there weren't a lot of people when we visited. I highly recommend for a quick visit and maybe a tea or coffee in the restaurant inside.

A great place to spend a few hours in. Wonderful architecture. The entrance fee was 4€ per adult and 2€ per child. There's also an excellent playground for young children (for an extra 2.5€) and a nice restaurant in a calm setting. You also can find some nice artisanal shops inside.

It must have been a nice place once. It's a shame that many rooms were closed. The entrance fee of 40 dirhams is not exaggerated. Definitely worth a visit.

Loved this place, a work of art in itself, and giving local artisans the chance to sell their wares. I would love to attend a production in the open air theatre. I can imagine 1001 Arabian nights, or Shéhérazade or Anthony and Cleopatra being performed there! Lots is being done in the grounds with new plantings, kids play area and picnic areas, under the trees. Great place to relax.

What an experience! I was there in February, with perfect weather and few tourists, which made the experience even more magical. Great entry price (40 Dirhams, which is about £3), but please bring cash to buy tickets. The staff is very kind and welcoming and speaks basic English and French. They have a cafe, a restaurant with delicious traditional food, and many beautiful shops with handmade items and local souvenirs. A lovely place to spend an afternoon, a must-go if you visit Agadir 😍

Clean, maybe the entrance fees are bit expensive for more than 70% workshops closed

  • 4/5 Micha H. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice oriental place. The entrance fee is 40 dirham which is a little too much in my opinion because it's not that large. We were there on Saturday morning. The small stores inside were closed then. I guess they open later the day. Please also keep in mind not to visit too early or too late because the Medina is unbound with walls and the sun will not shine inside then. We can highly recommend the food in the restaurant, nice prices and very delicious.

Beautiful building to visit a bit out of the way. Downside their are little shops here and the traders are annoying trying to get you in the shop

  • 5/5 Linda M. 2 months ago on Google • 3 reviews New
This was so interesting. Historically built in 1969 because previously the original was destroyed by an earthquake. Artisan small handcrafted goods were made in the site. I bought jewellery. Paintings by local artists. Aviary carved wooden animals and a large group of tame peacocks there. Most definitely worth a visit.

  • 2/5 Loubna E. 2 years ago on Google
Good for pictures only. For the price of 40 dhm you can travel to other beautiful cities and take your pictures at the real old medina. This could've been something if executed well. Now it's just a misplaced ghost town.

  • 4/5 Mike T. 4 months ago on Google
Lovely recreation of the old Medina destroyed by the earthquake in 1960. Completed in 1992 and they are continuing to develop the site. Small entry charge of 40 dhr per adult. Quite a few craft shops and artisans and to be fair they were not pushy. Toilets and a restaurant on site. The restaurant was ok the tagines were not as good as the ones in the town. Helpful staff on site and well worth a visit a little bit out of the way from the main drag but nice to spend time there

This place reminded me of movies made to look like they are from hundreds of years ago in the middle east. So rich in history and culture

  • 5/5 Dave T. 1 year ago on Google
Before going you should realise this is not authentic, and was rebuilt in 1992 after an earthquake destroyed the original. This place is small and is not really a medina in the traditional style. It is definitly a stylised/ idolised version , which does not show the ravages of time nor a history of people living and working here. Nevertheless it's worth a quick visit. A petite taxi from the centre cost about 60 dirham (6 Euro) and entry is 40 Dirham (4 Euro). Its nice though and there is some niice flourishes in certain sections. There is also a small restraunt and the ususla few souvenier shops. Its in the middle of nowhere and takes over 80 minutes to walk back to the centre so I would recommend booking a return journey with your taxi driver an hour later if not planning to eat here.

I visited during the Spring and there were very few people. I was able to get some great shots of the beautiful architecture without the crowds. There were only a few shops (hand-made shoes, jewelry, carved limestone, paintings, clothing). I did not visit the restaurant, but you get a free drink with the ~4 Euro entrance fee.

  • 5/5 Tina P. 7 months ago on Google
Barely any tourists but definitely worth the visit. This place is beautiful.

In my opinion it’s a must see but nothing compares to Marrakesh. I think this background could be used for a lot of Hollywood movies.

  • 4/5 Bernadetta S. 2 years ago on Google
We were there outside of the season (April), it is very nice place with narrow small alleys, few marchandises sell marrocainain products, not very brazen but friendly, going further it seems that still some works to "upgrade" this place are on the track

  • 5/5 Vincent Cerver (Allô M. 1 year ago on Google
A must go, excellent location for a 1 or 2 hours to visit for 40 Dh with a drink. You can take lovely pics, and buy Berber mancraft products. Tips: keep your taxi, because tough to find taxis in this area

  • 5/5 Abdelati B. 2 years ago on Google
Very nice architecture. The colors and the shapes are very distinctive.

  • 4/5 Mohammed S. 1 year ago on Google
Had plenty of parking, and friendly staff. Four stars as it is still under construction, but overall good for sightseeing. It’s worth a stroll, and will take up about forty-five minutes of your time to get around.

  • 5/5 Argo L. 1 year ago on Google
Very nice to visit. The ticket cost 40 dirhams. There are a few souvenir shops but it's more of a cultural place to visit to see ancient Arabic style buildings. You can also have a lunch here and the place also has a childrens playground.
