What a lovely place, it’s not hard to see why it’s called paradise valley. There’s loads of restaurants and cafes along the valley. It’s a really peaceful place with no cars or noise other than nature and music. 100% worth a visit if you’re in the area. There’s natural pools where kids can swim and others for adults where you can cliff dive. Il definitely be coming back when I’m in Agadir again.

Although there is practically no water in the gorge (except the first part with restaurants, where the water is not particularly inviting), it is recommended to have a walk parallel with (there is an easy to follow path) and inside the gorge. At some parts the high vertical walls are breathtaking (strangely, when we were there most visitors did not even go to the real gorge but stopped at the restaurants). One can walk a few kilometers along and inside the gorge starting from the restaurants (probably more but we turned back after a while because we were hungry). The restaurants are reasonably priced and cosy. (We visited the gorge (valley) from Agadir: took bus 32 (31 and 33 are also good) to Aourir (~6 DH/person), then took a minibus to the part of the gorge where the restaurants are located (~20 DH/person). On the way back we took a minibus again and then a shared taxi from Aourir to Agadir for ~10 DH/person.)

That place use to be a real paradise but unfortunately today it became so so bad. There is a rubbish everywhere and most of the visitors don't clean their rubbish. Most of the locals arrange a day to clean and maintain the road but when the visitors come they ruin everything. I gave 5 stars because when I visited in Spring holiday it was a great and a real paradise but when I came in summer I was shocked. So, the first advice is visit that place in Spring and avoid it in Summer.

Bare in mind: Summer and Winter seasons are very different in countries like Marrocos, photos from nice green, pools full of water it means 100% WINTER! If you spend 5 minutes talking to locals you will know they are more than 3 years with bad winters and drought in Summer. I would say Valley but not a Paradise… people throw cans in the water, plastic fantastic every single place (chairs in the water, plastic bags to refrain the water course, food and drinks, stands/stores…). We walk all the way to the “end”, the nature is superb I do admit… splendid but the heart breaks so many times with what the men needs to do to survive. The road and the views all the way from Agadir are so beautiful… quite grey because is Summer but in Winter must be a truly Paradise.

Paradise Valley (Decent footwear, towels to take). around an hour + drive from most hotels in Agadir. On the way ask drivers to stop as plenty scenic views for clicks. Upon arrival Paradise Valley, prepare to walk up and down hill. Don’t stop soon you get to the bottom where all eating establishments are, keep walking You will see many streams and at the end after 20min you will approach to the beautiful paradise situated within two small peaks. Plenty sitting space and photo opportunities. On the way back have some real mint tea (no tea bags like in city they do). Served with bread and butter. In nearby pond we spotted mini turtles. Happy days

Paradise Valley is wonderful hiking area. Unfortunately it hasn't rained for a few months, which makes it dry, but still very nice. There are river streams and several natural pools where you can take a bath, but not necessarily swim. Many local bars on the water where you can try local food and drink fresh juices

In the dry seasons there is almost no water, but you can still have a nice hike to some food (tajin) and drinks at the bottom. Make sure you have proper shoes both for the walk down and for the water (sharp rocks). Good place to relax with the family for a few hours in the sun or shade but nothing overly impressive to see here

I was there during June and there was no water at all. I was super stocked to go swimming but there was no water at all. And none of the tour operators would tell me this. So I was a bit dissapointed. But still all in all its a beautifzl area and you should check it out for sure. It feel like the real Morocco! Just dont expect any water! You also can have some traditionell food in a river wich is amazing!

Beautiful spot, unfortunately it didn't look at all like on the posted pictures but overall experience was great. Amazing views of the canon, very cute cafe spots in the middle of forest. I would love to visit it after proper rains to see canons full of water.

Nice place to visit. Can be a little tricky to get to as the trek can be a little difficult for some people. Not much water but there was a area you can swim at. Nice place to eat near the bottom on the water.

A wonderful little hike. About 4 km back and forth. Also suitable for children. No special shoes or other hiking gear needed. No entry fee either. There also also several small restaurants and cafes offering traditional Moroccan food and fresh juices on the way.

After having read some quite disheartening reviews of Paradise Valley written quite recently, we doubted if we should go there during our visit of Agadir. Luckily we did! Apparently since the Earthquake a few weeks ago, water has returned to the Valley, the river flows and the pools have refilled. We hiked past the restaurants on the bottom and reached the connected pools and were able to swim in the clean and cool water. It was a Bliss. I had read about all the garbage in the area but I think they have made a concerted effort (perhaps thanks to reviews??) to clean up and we enjoyed an almost garbage free walk. Apparently also we were lucky because even though it was a holiday weekend, there weren't many people around. I can highly recommend this place although I believe we benefitted from few visitors and the positive effect of the earthquake in this case and can see how others might have a had a less favorable experience. On the way back we sat on chairs in the water and had fish nibble on our feet, a strange, sometimes unsettling but funny experience. We'll be back!

I have recently come back from a trip to Agadir. I booked paradise valley through get your guide which I found to be very reasonable. The trip offers transportation to and from the excursion. We was greeted by a lovely gentleman called Houcin, he arrived promptly on time, the tour was absolutely amazing and the views so breath taking. We had a group of around 25 people, Houcin is a funny character and made the trip one to remember. We enjoyed a hike through the mountains, we swam in the crystal clear valleys and we even had time to sun bathe in the glorious sunshine taking in all the views. What an amazing tour guide, we loved every minute of the excursion. 5 stars for Houcin 🫶🏽 🇲🇦

Beautiful location which seems trapped in time. Lots of locals there and it felt very safe and so worth attending.

Apparently it's best in winter but still enjoyed the trip. Had a swim in one of the deep pools, had fresh orange juice and food from the vendors.

Paradise valley. Apparently we missed the best time to go as i went in July and it was pretty much dried out. Locals said best time is anywhere from September to May which will be much better but never the less was a really nice experience. A lot of walking, it was hot really hot and even tho it was a nice experience. It would have been way better if we went there the months the local said but still beautiful. If you do go just wear suncream and don’t be an idiot like me or YOU WILL GET SUNBURNED!!!

Paradise Valley looked much better on pictures than in reality. It’s quite a trip to get there and in my opinion not worth it at all. There are small ponds you can swim in, but they’re quite muddy and not appealing at all.

This place should be beautiful during the rainy season. In August this year, the water line has little flow. To get to this place you need to have some physical condition. I do not recommend it to people with mobility difficulties. The money paid for this excursion is very high for what you enjoy. Disappointment...

No was was advertised, it have about a 15 minute walk down to a bar area along side a brown river where they offer a fish massage on your feet and to cool off. Then the driver decided to leave us there and took 1 hour after the tour had ended to come collect us

Cool place to visit. In may/ Jane don't expect watery views but you can still find a place to swim a bit. Great for trekking

Make sure you bring water and swimmers. Great little hike all the way to where you can jump into the water off a cliff if your feeling like an adrenaline rush. Went with my surf camp friends and local instructor. Also a place to eat and drink also if your feeling hungry. Highly recommend coming here for a few hours or for the day for a hike and swim. Good for young solo travellers group of friends or fit adults that enjoy walking through mountains etc.

This place is stunning! We were lucky as it had been raining a lot the day before our visit! It is just an amazing place to look at and walk around. Don't forget to wear proper trainers as it can be a little slippy.

I’m sure this place looks wonderful with water, but when I was there the weather had been dry for months and all that’s left in the canyon are small green and dirty pools. What’s more disappointing is that restaurants (as well as local tourists on the weekends) just throw away their garbage in the park, and you’ll see plenty of trash behind some rocks. The Moroccan Government should take action to preserve those natural sites better.

Its nice to see vegetation in the desert even grapes! Thera are many waterfalls but now they were dry, anyway you could see, pools where there are tables and chairs for fish spa. Food and drinks are also available. What looks good is the forest in such a place and lots of water.

Nothing about paradise. We come in June and the water was ugly green colour. Only good thing its the way what we get there. Beautiful canyon and landscapes. A lot of rubbish around.

Low water basin but worth it! Not that busy and with guided guests there is a flow of people (and they leaving). Fresh water to swim in, between little turtles. So amazing beautiful! Parking by locals 10 MAD. To drink or eat many possibilities for normal prices.

Went to paradise valley today and so glad to have not paid any attention to older reviews! The pools are now filled with cold fresh water, since the earthquake. As for rubbish, I could not see any. Maybe they have made an effort to clean up? As for the restaurants on the way, I did not think they were overpriced, nor were the merchants pushy. On the contrary, they were all friendly and prices for food and drink were so reasonable. Car park at entrance is 5 dirham. It’s about a 30 mins slow walk to the pools. Forget the first pool you come across as that one is quite muddy, but the next one has lovely cold water and places to jump in if you are feeling daring - please check for water depth fist! Water at the second pool was 6m deep so fine to jump into.

Beautiful spot. Many restaurants along the shore. Not much water in September. Suggest going in the spring when more of the pools have water. Not the cleanest place but still lovely

No water in the main part, so cliff jumping was definitely off the cards! Views are amazing in the valley and was well worth the trip. There is shallow water in the first part (where the locals sell you refreshments, unsurprisingly!) where you can bathe your feet in the clean, cool water. Make sure you wear sturdy footwear, hold kids hands and take care... the 10 minute walk from the car park was a little steeper and more slippery than I had expected!

Nice place for hiking, a lot of bars in the beginning of the trail. There was no water (no swimming pool) in the middle of May anymore.

A nice 1 hour hike in the rocks up the river. Probably better in spring to have a lot of water, but still nice in autumn. Birds, turtles in the oasis. Bring a lot of drinking water with you. The parking lot a the begin of the trail is guarded.
