Years back in 1990’s when I used to travel I remember there used to be no Internet, plug points was as per that era, tv had only one local language channel, the concept of providing kettle or iron in room was just in thoughts. Language was a barrier then and also now over here. Thank you for refreshing my memories. I lived in that era once more. Anyone who would like to experience 1990’s in 2022 do visit this hotel. A complete disaster.

We were brought here by on a bait and switch from Oussaden tours. Upon arrival, was shocked by the elevator and got a very rude response from the hotel staff. This was the first sign something was very wrong with this hotel. 1. Rooms and Hotel Very old and dated. Sheets are strange colors. Evidence of bed bugs in the mattress and seems it's never been cleaned. 2. Food We got there at 830 pm for the buffet and they were already out of most food items. Service was terrible, being told I have to eat something I didn't want when requesting they replenish an item. Food very bland and some suspect dishes. By 9pm they started taking food away even though the buffet was supposed to close at 930 pm. Choose somewhere else. If you do come here, know what your paying for.

+ Good location - Very old Hotel and smelly, need serious retrofit. - Tiny 26m2 rooms for 2 persons - You have to pay for the safe in the room - Bad Acoustic insulation - Minibar is empty and very old freezer - Tiny balcony with very lousy plastic chairs - Small pool and always busy - Lousy WiFi connection - Food is of poor quality and very expensive - Bar will give you a depression - Short bed for tall people - TV has 6 programs, and very bad quality - Closet is very old and smelly - No menu for room service in the room

Spotless Hotel with Delicious food and Fantastic Resident Band. A great holiday choice for sure with staff who are exceptional throughout. Couldn't praise this hotel high enough. Consistent always. The band have to be a highlight if you want to keep guests in the hotel at night, and this band did just that. Fab. I'll definitely be back... Rory ☘️

This is not a 4 star resort, the pool area is nice and that's all I can really say. The WIFI DOES NOT work in the rooms, when we spoke to the convierge about this they offered no solution. If you are travelling and have any work to get done would not recommend. The hotel decor is totally out dated, and the beds and pillows have not been replaced since the 60s. Some staff are somewhat hospitable but for the most part do not offer a 4 star treatment. We carried our own bags and no assistance in finding our room in a 4000 room hotel. Skip this hotel unless you want to travel back in time.

I would highly not recommend Agadir Beach Club to Anyone. It was only till my last day staying here I catch food poisoning despite having sudden diarrhoea and almost 30 vomits on the plane and afterwards being diagnosed with a PARASITE INFECTION . I would say DO NOT EAT HERE!! on the flight way back. From Gatwick. Rooms were not what were advertised. Sanitation was ridiculously viral Unfortunately I can’t return back. English language is also a barrier. And lifts were ridiculous! Filthy disgusting toilets no sinks no jug to was your bum and full of bacteria. Electrical Safety test is NOT a PASS, An Example Handheld Hairdryer blew up in flames almost killed us! Entertainment was lame and suckish. The Big pool was not amusing no water slides nothing fun about it. If you do come to this place know what your paying for.

How is this a 4 star hotel? We’re on a month long trip and my partner booked this online due to the nice but deceptive pictures. Both he and I are easy travelers having stayed in many different types of accommodations across every single continent but the one table stake for us is cleanliness. This hotel is digesting. From the dirty, smelly, stained carpeted hallways in the shared spaces to the badly neglected room interiors. We won’t dare even go swimming. This first room we were in had no AC and the electricity went in and out. We asked to move rooms and were faced with an awful attitude from the front desk “well the ac is out in all the beach facing rooms”… it took a lot of back and forth to get a new room. We’re now in a new room with a barely functioning AC but the room looks like something from a movie … those dilapidated pay-by-the-hour motels in movies where they often find dead bodies … Icing on the cake.. I’m a little under the weather and have been trying to place an order for room service for FOUR HOURS. I was hung up on twice, once the phone went to an admin office (where I also got attitude…) and the fourth time someone said … we’ll call you back and hung up. That was an hour ago. The Wi-Fi is terrible. Not just unreliable but non existent in our room. My partner was able to take an important work call in ONE area of the hotel and even then it kept dropping. See some pictures below. The bed headboard has what looks like blood or bodily fluid smeared all over it. It’s hard to make out in the pictures but it’s there. The drawers are filled with literally dirt… like someone kept their shoes in there. The bed and bathroom floors are awful and covered in hair and other “stuff”. We are activity and swiftly looking for somewhere else to stay. Do NOT stay here.

Very poor hotel. Beds, bed sheets, towels and even curtains, everything was very dirty. Pool very dirty as well. All furniture outdated and looks really bad.You simply get no service, no WiFi, even drinking water you need to buy from the hotel. Will never go back to this hotel or recommend it to anyone. We regret paying too much for this very dirty hotel. Our vacation was really spoiled by this experience

I don’t recommend this place ever. Reception staff are rude when you nneed something. The place is like abandoned at night, towels are yellow not clean at all. Breakfast at the hotel is very standard there is no choices. You have to walk a longe distance to reach your room if it is beach view. Some of the staff ask for money and embaress you.

Avoid this hotel at all costs. They will scam you at every opportunity. Their excursion prices are extortion as the hotel earn a commission from here. They will warn their guests with lies that other excursions are not safe and will try to scaremonger you into going with them. They charge 100 dirham to take a towel to the pool. I was charged this as they accused me of stealing their towel and would not let me leave without paying this. as a result I was nearly late for my flight. The wifi is shockingly poor and the breakfast food is cheap and not cooked properly. Same food is served everyday. Sinks and showers have stains on them dirty bathtubs and appalling room condition. Local men will hang around the hotel screaming and shouting not letting you sleep. Shocking hotel doesn’t even deserve one star

A wonderful hotel if you want to spend a great time with your family. Food is delicious and abundant. The staff is friendly, welcoming and reactive. The swimming pool is huge and there is access to the beach from the hotel. There are lots of activities here, inside and or outside, day and night. The hotel residents are so nice and easy going. However, they have to check these things: The gym equipment has to be completely renovated. Rooms furniture is outdated. All in all, this hotel is a good value for your money. I highly recommend it. I wonder how can some people dislike this hotel?

No air conditioning. They will overcharge you if you extended your stay, better to book again online. Keys and locks are outdated, furniture is old and smells of dust, lights are off and hallways are nearly pitch black in the garden area. Don't stay here.

The hotel itself was spotless and the staff were friendly the pool and beach areas are looked after with mats provided for the sun loungers the beach area is roped off so you're not too bothered by the hawkers the breakfast and lunch was OK it was the dinner selections that let it down and housekeeping could be a bit more attentive in cleaning the room floor was not swept entire stay the location was fine you could walk if inclined to do so to the souk (3k) not much to do in the area though some nice restruants locally and prices reasonable had a good time but not sure if I'd be rushing back

Stayed here one night due to a flight cancellation. Hotel staff were absolutely amazing however the room was just not up to standard. Uncomfortable bed and a tiny pillow was not ideal. Walls are paper thin and there was hair in the sink. Very outdated. Breakfast was good, facilities look good although we didn't use any. From my short experience, 3 stars.

It is confortable, super big, but for how big the space is they could do so much more. Staff is very friendly and enjoyed our breakfast. But the building, towels and services need to get updated, it is getting old. It seems the guy in the pool has been trusted with his life for the umbrellas. from the 5 days we stood he 'allowed' us to open one in 1 afternoon, even with some old white ladies, he refused to open them because of the wind. I felt sorry for their red skins after. Confortable rooms. Our hotel with same price in Marrakech was much better. Very friendly staff.

Just home from this wonderful place, it was 22 years ago I last stayed, from I arrived until I left I have to say it was amazing, the reception staff, the information desk the ladies doing the cleaning the waiting staff the pool man and security were absolutely outstanding friendly and courteous, the hotel is beautiful clean and very comfortable, the food is beautiful with plenty of choices, would like more fruit at breakfast though, got my colour done while there in the resident hairdressers, have no complaints and very reasonable looking forward to returning inJuly

Decent hotel for price. Lots of options for breakfast, rooms were clean, staff very friendly and pool area was good. Wi-Fi wasn’t great in the room (although absolutely fine by the pool), hotel decor was very dated and food options at lunch weren’t great (but very cheap). Suited us well for what we wanted

All the staff really friendly and very polite. The Hotel is located literally at the beach. The private beach is really good. The staff at the beach is really nice. Dima Maroc 🙂

My family and I stayed at this hotel from Thursday to Sunday. Everything was going good until Sunday morning. At 8:30am, my husband heard someone trying to get into the room. He woke up in panic and fall on the floor, hurting himself badly. We called the front desk to let them know about what happened and Aisha, the lady who was working at the front desk, did not even ask once my husband if he was ok. Her first and only concern was to tell my husband that the cleaning crew was entitled to enter the room since we did not put up the sign at the door. My husband told her that we did not have any sign in our room but she kept insisting. When we went down to talk to them in person, Aisha laughed at our faces, smirking the whole time we were explaining her the situation. She then proceed to ignore us and called someone to tell them in a language we did not understand how we were blaming her. She hung up and continued to ignore us. When I asked her to let me talk to a manager, she told me that he’s coming in at 10:30 and to just wait. When I insisted, she sent me to talk to someone else who called the manager. We were so put off with the whole experience that we packed up and left early.

We stayed here for 4 nights in June 2022. We had such an amazing time here. Staff were welcoming, friendly and accommodating. They were always making sure we were ok and always responded to our requests. The rooms were a little dated as mentioned in other reviews but the cleaning of rooms every day was immaculate. No complaints in terms of cleanliness. A great variety of breakfast was available. When you experience bad customer service elsewhere, you really feel the need to praise those and leave good reviews for hotels who provide excellent service. Overall, a lovely hotel suitable for families. Had such a great ambiance! Would stay here again!

Beautiful hotel. Looks like a palace. Clean rooms Breakfast buffet was excellent 👌 Front desk very professional 👏 We forgot a sunglasses 👓 in one of the rooms .the person who helped us with the luggage came running to our car before we departed with the glasses in his hands. Greatly appreciated 🙏 😌

Our stay at the Agadir Beach Club was extremely enjoyable . Not only its site and location, but its personnel who are ready to help and won't let you go without a smile. Room service and catering are outstanding. I would like to thank the entertainer and animator Mr Ali for his lessons and varied sports activities His kindness and professionalism made customers of the hotel love him and become one community despite their differences during his physical and animation activities.

Good location & nice stay overall. Big Thanks to Taher the amazing receptionist for the great customer service and check-in experience. Thanks for the nice mesemen lady during breakfast. & of course Mr Ali is so sweet! Advice to the pool cafe waiter to be less arrogant & faster when making basic coffee & the short rude guy by the pool who said he won’t change towels more than once a day even if we did not ask for that. Will definitely come back especially if you improve the atmosphere in the evening at the bar. Thanks

Very nice Hotel right on the beach. We went here just before Corona in March 2020 with our 2 teenage Kids and had a great time. Hotel was not too crowded, yet all services offered. Not as shiny as the new concrete palaces around, this one offers a lot of the real charme Marocco has to offer. Clean and well kept rooms, great buffets and restaurants on site.

First and foremost, the precaution measures due to the COVID by the staff is well adhere by the establishment. The hotel is clean staff friendly and situated on the tourist strip on the broadway. Pool well maintained Spa and gym clean And prices are very reasonable. Breakfast is included during my stay with my wife. The establishment not at full capacity as lots of businesses are affected this year but if you are looking for a hotel with good pricing and have a good night sleep and privacy I highly recommend it. Thank you

Stayed with the family over Easter holidays and the kids really loved the facilities, staff were very helpful and the hotel had direct access to the beach with its own private area. Great to top your sun tan and various things to do although I noticed a lot of construction which can only mean a good thing for future visitors as they improve the surroundings, the kids really enjoyed the camel ride and road train around the city, would definitely go back.

Very friendly place and AWESOME for families. A very reasonable price for a double room for me, my wife and our four young kids. They are very accommodating to host us. They brought in extra beds and even surprised us with a beautiful fruit platter to welcome us.

Had a pint here one night and it cost me €8. It's a higher class clientele then I'm used to as I can still live out of a rucksack. Alcohol cost aside, very comfortable bar with good entertainment

This hotel is beautiful, but some of the workers here came across quite rude. We booked b&b here and when we first initially came in they didn’t help take our luggages although i had a baby and family with me, they told us to carry it ourselves and take it to the room. We also paid for Wi-Fi but that also wasn’t working although we spoke to the manager at the receptionist numerous times, at the end they were telling us to come down to the lobby to use it?? Who pays for Wi-Fi to use in the lobby and reception? There were no water or drinking facility they were telling us we had to buy water to drink at the hotel. This hotel is just aesthetically pleasing and one or two workers were very nice and very welcoming wouldn’t recommend again for anyone to go there.

This is not a four star hotel. The foyer and front facing view may give you a feel of walking into a four star however the rooms, facilities, wifi, pool size and food options for buffet breakfast leaves you disappointed. Rooms are worn down and in need of refurbishment. Towels were frayed, rough and no doubt white a long time ago, in need of replacement. Toiletries are as expected at a three star hotel. Patchy wifi across the hotel, no wifi at all in the rooms.

  • 3/5 joepeters93 1 year ago on Google
The hotel is relatively clean and some of the staff are relatively friendly. The main thing it has going for it is a good swimming pool and location next to the beach. It’s by no means a 4 star hotel and felt like Hotel California upon arrival; ironically a Phoenix night style band played the song as we walked past the outdated performance room one evening. It has 5/6 ‘restaurants’ all of which prey on tired first night travellers that never return due to the microwaved food at 4 times the cost of a Tajine on the street. It could be so much better with some renovation and modernisation and improved service. It’s equivalent to a 2 star in Greece or Turkey. Not bad but there’s a lot better out there!

This hotel really deserves 5 stars👍 , its location is incredible and the view from the room in front of the beach is beautiful, there is a lot of things u can do in it like gym , spa ,massage and even let ur kid with some monitors who play with him so u can get free anytime u want 😜, but the worst thing for me is the dinner because there aren't a lot of kinds of food for me I tried it and I just ate one dish cz I didn't like the others 🤢.

Just spent a week here over the Christmas period, and it was fantastic The hotel is beautiful and in a great location, the bewch is right across the promenade out the back from the hotel. The rooms are big, and the bathrooms too. My room had a balcony and pool view. The fiod was brilliant, there was plenty of selection at every meal time and there was never a time when none of us couldn't find something we liked. The staff were helpful and friendly but not in your face. The beach is clean and beautiful and the hotel had ots own sectioned off part for sole use by hotel guests. The restaurants on the promenade were also lovely and there was a great selection of food to choose from

  • 2/5 Marzena G. 1 year ago on Google
Where to start? It’s a very dated hotel and the only bonus at the moment is the location, nice swimming pool and its own part of the beach. Please don’t be fooled by accounts giving a rating of 5/5 as clearly either they have no idea about 4-star hotels and good service or have been paid to do so. This hotel is nowhere near to be rated 5. While we were staying some rooms were only refreshed by being painted. Everything else I suppose stays the same. Even doors opened with keys. I was hoping for a kettle and some glasses so I can have my own tea or coffee on the balcony but no sign of it at all. You will find a mini fridge in the room which is filled with…….two plastic cups. I always like to have a sufficient amount of drinking water with me (especially when you have small children) so we were very shocked when the security guy at the entrance didn’t allow us to bring the water into the hotel and informed there are 4 restaurants in the hotel I can get the water from! The reception confirmed that water from outside is prohibited 🤯🤯 We wouldn’t have it. , protested and complained, and took our water with us to the room. Absolutely unacceptable. In the winter even if the days are hot the nights can get cold and our rooms were freezing at night as the heating wasn’t working properly. Wherever you will have a duvet on your bed is a total lottery and if you don’t get one but only blankets you will only get extra blankets. Don’t ask me why. 🤷🏻‍♀️ The wifi is very poor if you really need it. The further from the reception lobby the weaker it gets and the only resort to use it is on the room balcony or sitting in the hotel lobby. Now the nasty surprise. Be mindful of all the towels in your rooms. If for any reason the cleaners won’t replace them all, it’s YOU paying the bill at the check out if any of them is missing. They will check the room before you can leave the hotel. Now if you are a Muslim please be aware that pork is being served along with other things for breakfast. The selection and quality of food for breakfast and drink are just ok. If you fancy sth more delicious and from the local kitchen try small cafes serving breakfasts including omelets with meat or tomatoes or crispy and freshly made pancakes with honey. Most of the time I was out however I really enjoyed evening live music shows presenting Moroccan music. The staff is generally nice and helpful but many of the rules put in place by the management are just ridiculous and many times make you feel unwelcome and a sign of small-mindedness. I don’t think I will be coming back here unless some changes are introduced to update not only the interior but management of the hotel.
