It had its ups and downs, the staff is mostly lovely and try to engage you really well. However my room had to be changed because the shower wasn’t working so it flooded our room. Then the sink drain in the new room wouldn’t drain unless we pulled out the drain. My family also had to deal with Moroccan visitors who were mean and said very racist things towards them, when a family member went over to a security person and asked them if they were going to do anything the security officer said no and ignored it. They also only escorted my family back to our room and ignored the attackers. We’ve also experienced kids licking the sauce spoons at the buffet. Keep in mind this is still a time of covid. What kicked off the fight between my family and the other people was their child (clearly put up to it by the adults) spitting their drink all over my family members. When the parent came over to the kid they said the kid had done nothing wrong. (We weren’t even aggressive towards the kid just surprised he had done it and wanted an apology) The food was okay, every now and then they had a different special meal at the buffet that was really nice. But the pasta had pieces of (what seemed like) plastic in it, making it hard to eat.

Great hotel! Clean, large rooms, I had a sea view where the sight and the sound of the ocean is very calming. Several swimming pools with a heated pool inside, private beach, many activities. Restaurant is good (although I got one time diarrhea) many choices, several themes. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Best hotel I have been in Morocco till now!

Entertainment team absolutely amazing,!!! friendly, witty, so much energy so welcoming. Evening shows brilliant!! Best ever!! Lovely hotel, rooms need bit of updating. And shower leaked onto floor needs new sealant. Rooms tidied etc everyday. And given 2 big bottles water each day, Plenty of space thou in room . Pools are fab!! Food is good. Fresh beach towel each day no charge. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definitely go there again. Felt safe there also. 👌

Spent a week here. It's a lovely place, very beautifully kept and clean everywhere. Good location near the beach and the town. Could do with more loungers and a lot more umbrellas. Twice staff took our umbrella for someone else while we were sat there without even asking! Otherwise staff were really helpful and always polite.

Service staff are outstanding! Very polite, friendly and helpful. All you can eat food and drinks are good. Spacious, well kept and comfortable grounds. Few problems with rooms, most were taking care of eventually but we were out of air conditioning our whole stay (5 nights) - alright at night if we left back door open and fan on, as the evenings cool down.

We chose to go on holiday all the family to rest and just relax. We arrived in a really nice place with a large pool. I have to point out that the whole animation staff is very nice and helpful and made us enjoy good moments... So why only two stars: the food!!! My wife that is 5 month pregnant spent half the holiday in the toilets throwing back all she ate. The food is just sad, tasteless and sometimes of very poor quality. The breakfast is ok as you can hardly miss doing eggs right.. but the lunch and dinner is a real disaster... even I had to spend some very enjoyable times in the toilet because of the poor quality... we even had to go for dinner in restaurant outside the hotel just to have some normal food. At the price you pay these kind of stays you do expect a minimum on food quality. It is just a shame and I hope this coment makes the hotel react on it or people avoid going there if they don't want a happy sickliday.

Rooms were very nice and spacious, service was a let down, everything is self service, location was great, easy access to beach. Food was a very big disappointment, pretty much the same everyday, snacks weren't any better. No chicken nuggets, there own version to baked beans, the pizzas and desserts were the highlight. Great spacious hotel but have no lifts, we had 4 rooms booked, 2 of them which had a lot of ants, complained several times nothing was done besides the last night were we were told by the manager to shift rooms as we couldn't sleep due to the amount of ants in the room.

Very friendly animation team with bags of enthusiasm and energy. Pool area was nice and the rooms are spacious. The food is the biggest disappointment. Tasteless, no flavour . Not fresh and so repetitive. I spent half of my holiday with my head in the toilet with problems from the food. It really isn’t a 4* hotel with food at such a low standard.

My husband and I stayed here for 6 nights returned on the 13th April. The hotel is very impressive, stunning views at the back of the hotel overlooking the beach and a beautiful sunset. The grounds are very well maintained lots of staff and all very attentive and friendly. Our room was on the top floor with our balcony facing the inner grounds overlooking the duck pond with just a glimpse of the sea in the distance. Room was very spacious and comfortable. And cleaned every day. We slept well as the evenings were very cool. On the downside of thing, lots of building work going on outside the front of the hotel so very noisy early in the morning as the work started at 7.30am and unfortunate if you have a room like ours (room 2222) that was on the outer side of the hotel. Pools was very refreshing (bit chilly) but it was early April. Plenty of entertainment going on if you want to get onvolved. The entertainment team, pool maintenance and bar staff work so hard and are very friendly and chatty. There's a lovely walk at the back of the hotel along a promenade by the beach we did this every morning. Huge beach but due to bad weather before our arrival the beach was full of washed up rubbish and lots of it. But there were teams of workers working very hard and a clean up was in progress, Sea was rough and huge waves, black flags so no swimming allowed but really wouldn't have wanted to go in. Could be a different story once the weather changes and its warmer and calmer. There's a few sellers along the walk. They don't tend to bother you if you just say "no thank you" they will leave you alone and just say hello. Weather was very windy everyday. But it was a nice temperature during the day but the evenings were very chilly. The food was ok, plenty of choice. We both became unwell on our 4th day/evening with upset stomachs which lasted for the rest of our holiday. Both still not great and has lasted for 6 days now. Can't say what it was but wasn't a great end to our short stay here.

The service in this hotel was exceptional. Every staff member was genuinely pleased to welcome you with a beaming smile. The rooms were clean, spacious and a balcony. The food was superb. Highly recommend. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay

Lovely hotel great staff some minor issues to be improved like proper bath towels not paper thin large tea towels in bathrooms. Food good, entertainment ok but they try need to have better lounge entertainment really some good most poor and amateurish. Overall the positive outweigh the negative big time.

Lovely hotel, clean, maintained, great all inclusive experience, service was good, the animation team were the very best, catering for children of all ages. Stayed for 11 nights and the food had just about enough variety. All the good sunbed sports were gone before 8am, even though the weather in Agadir can be hazy until lunchtime. Rooms were good size, although we had no air con for the whole stay. Luckily, temps never got above 30 degrees. Tip - book the tennis for the last slot, you can get more than an hours worth (although it's is free!) Entertainment is good, but short, at night, so take cards/games. For the hotel: I'm disappointed you couldn't/didn't fix our air con. Also, the gardeners use/waste way too much water for the gardens! Thanks for the lovely stay!

The whole complex is very well taken care of, the staff is in general very nice and friendly, everyone speaks English, the food at all the restaurants is amazing every single time, the pools are huge and super nice, the entertainment team is great - they put up a fun show every night (shout-out to Anwar!). We have no major complaints, so we absolutely recommend this resort 100%!! Thank you for an amazing stay!! 🙏

The hotel grounds are so beautiful and well kept, the pools are cleaned frequently, the restaurant staff are quite attentive (some better than others) Our room was nice and cool with the air conditioner. The shower was magnificent, truly a highlight. The restaurant had a great selection of different foods - not sure what everyone else is complaining about in reference to not enough variety. Almost every day there was a new set of dishes, one night was Greek gyros, another was Mexican wraps, there’s a huge selection of salads every day, an American style side with pasta, pizza and chips (and often other things) The breakfast had a huge range of things, I had the traditional fried bread with red onion slices every morning and would go back just for that! I highly recommend booking to have dinner at their Moroccan restaurant. Really brilliant atmosphere and traditional foods on offer. A heightened version of the Moroccan food on offer at their normal restaurant. Don’t bother going to the Japanese restaurant unless you’re really craving something different. I preferred the normal restaurant. My partner did suffer from food poisoning on the second night, we think it was the fish tajine which had been sitting out for maybe an hour already (a guess). The receptionist didn’t care or offer any help or suggestions when I told her about his sickness. I didn’t have any troubles with the food. The beach is lovely but don’t put your head under the water! The sea in Morocco isn’t safe I think. The pools were lush. Truly a lovely place to lay around all day, but try stay away from the families as they’re often loud and not taken care of properly by their families ignoring them. Every evening there’s an entertainment event in the bar which is right next to the restaurant, I wish we went every night! The staff work so hard all day and then perform a song and dance for an hour each evening, they’re very impressive! We laughed a lot, sang and danced along. One night there was a magician which was very impressive.

Absolutely rip off. The hotel is full with staff's families members(children, mums, wife's etc) and you can see the difference between the local people and the visitors of the hotel. The children are not behave and no one tells them anything. The service is good only if you give a tips. If you don't one won't even see you. The room not very clean. No shampoo and soap... After 3 days using the tower for my kids I left it on the floor to be changed but unfortunately they didn't. The same dirty tower was put back in the bathroom. If you have money to spend go somewhere else. No

If you are a single mum nervous of travelling for the first time this is THE place to come! The staff here are the most helpful and the most friendly people I have come across in this world. The place is spotlessly clean. Everyone is so friendly and always happy to help. You feel super safe and taken care of. I love it and can't wait to come back. I thought Greece was special but Agadir is blessed with the people I love them. Oh and the food is amazing!!!!! You'll be dreaming about the tea.

Riu Tikida Dunas is a place that I will revisit with family and friends for many times to come if the future allows it. The staff is friendly, the hotel is very well located and very beautiful. They have everything you or your kids might need. It is very close to every interesting place in Agadir. The only bad moment I lived was at the check-in... I believe that they can hire more professional people at the reception desk as these people have given me a first bad impression that fortunately was completely wrong and we ended up spending very nice three days

Loved this hotel, with the cleanest sandy beach right out front. The food is so fresh varied healthy and always available. Cleaners work around the clock to keep the whole resort in check. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Well equipped gym. Regular activities. Family and kid friendly. Beautiful sunsets and did I mention the beach? Probably the best I've seen to date. Great location and really really great value. Actually think its a star short.

Very nice room with sea view. Huge size of the apartment. Reception gave us a warm welcome during our stay. I would recommend some enhancements : one broken chair in the room, food at restaurants are not the best quality and not a lot of change everyday, be careful with people who booked a sun-bed with their towels directly at the morning. You have an early bird to chill.

We stayed as a family of four here for a week in October and the hotel was just so perfect. The beach is right outside the rear gate to the grounds and the private beach area for hotel guests was never at capacity, there is a very smooth and gradual incline into the sea which is great for swimming, surfing and jet skiing. The area was very quiet around the hotel, especially at night and the beach promenade which stretches for a few miles along the coast means long walks are very enjoyable. The staff were all just fantastic, always going the extra mile to make sure that everything was exactly as you liked it, they were all extremely friendly and the entertainment staff around the pool worked very hard to help everyone enjoy themselves with lots of activities if you were feeling energetic. Restaurant staff were also incredibly attentive and friendly. The food was excellent throughout the week whether you went to the main restaurants or the two speciality restaurants and the range of desserts was breathtaking. The pools were always refreshing and you were able to play lots of little games without bothering other guests and securing a sun bed around the pool perimeter was very easy even past 9:30 in the morning. The pool surround and the hotel grounds in general were always immaculately looked after and presented. The rooms are really nicely fitted with lots of space, a balcony, plenty of plug sockets and a beautiful bathroom containing a lovely shower. The weather was beautiful, even as you go into November you are guaranteed clear skies and hot sun during the day and a pleasant evening if you want to sit on one of the outdoor couches after your evening dining. There are quite a few hotels dotted along the beachfront at Agadir but we will definitely be coming back here as it was totally perfect for us and we enjoyed a very blissful holiday.

Wonderful hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Room great, ours had sea view which was fab. Loved all the little areas to sit and drink or relax. Pools great, although chilly. Food good and quite plenty of different things to choose from. Asian restaurant very nice. Loved the walk on the promenade. Will return.

A fantastic 2 weeks spent on holiday. Lovely and clean. A good selection of food. Entertainment team worked very hard during day and evening. Unfortunately the evening entertainment was very repetitive. Bar staff and restaurant staff friendly and helpful.

Beautiful resort but was too cold and windy to really enjoy swimming in the pool. Animation team were hussling every day, working to make our stay entertaining. Food was average with lots of selections. Beds were rock hard. Called front desk to see if there was a fix but there was none. All week of back breaking sleep. Maid forgot bath mat twice and toilet paper once with a huge plate of fruit left for us on the last day that we couldn't eat because we were leaving in the morning. Overall good stay but wouldn't go back due to bed.

Beautiful place, excellent location and very fresh staff! Recomanded for families as well. But I'm very disappointed that we asked to leave the room 2 hours later and we were told no and that we can have a shower and change at the toilets by the swimming pool. It would not be a problem, but only because we are with kids it is quite difficult. I didn't, thought such a big hotel won't have a spare room for emergency like this. We even offer to pay for a full day or a late check-out......

Brilliant holiday cannot fault the hotel at all, 6 females in total and we all felt completely safe and welcome from the moment we entered the hotel to the moment we left. The animation team were outstanding, full of energy and super engaging with the guests making each individual feel the holiday was personal to them. The evening entertainment was always fun to watch great way to end the day. The daily activities were full of variation and offered opportunities for everyone to get involved. Restaurants were amazing as a group of 6 including vegetarians we were never short on food. Not once in the holiday did anyone have to revert to the standard pasta and fries combo you get in my all inclusive hotels. The food was to a high standard all day everyday and the restaurant staff were polite, friendly and engaged with the guests. The housekeeping team deserve so much credit and were super polite throughout our whole stay. Definitely recommend this hotel and we all look forward to our next stay.

Great place to visit. Good value for money and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Many pools to visit with sunbeds and a towel service. My boyfriend needed to watch a football game at some point and they were helpful with either having it show in our room or set it up at the bar. Kind people.

Amazing holiday, location was perfect. The hotel/rooms were very clean. Fantastic choice of food, especially the dessert range. No issues with sunbeds, we had the same spot every day during our 10 day stay. Brilliant evening entertainment, the team were so welcoming, warm, and genuinely friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. They took the time out every day to come and speak to all the family and got us involved in water aerobics and water polo each day in the main pool. Very kid friendly. We got to know majority of the reps by name inc the lifeguards. Loved the fact there were several swimming pools so they never really got over crowded. I would 1000% return

Went on a weeks all inclusive holiday to Agadir. The resort is immaculate. The rooms could do with a bit of an upgrade, especially the special needs rooms 2001 onwards but we managed. The staff from reception, to the cleaners were exemplary . The chefs and waiters were brilliant especially hicham who always greeted up with a smile and went out if his way to get us drinks. The pool cleaners/staff especially mohammed was very helpful and was always at hand to support especially with our disabled son. The security personnel, Waheel and the young girl whose name I can’t recall were also brilliant. Finally credit goes to Carlos who runs a very good operation, and is regarded highly and respected by his staff which is a great combination in running a resort.. Carlos was very approachable and I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with him. Will certainly book again.

Nice hotel , typical RIU. Well set out with very nice size rooms, clean, functional bathroom , TV , safe , water, fridge(empty), unusually no tea/coffee/kettle in room. Grounds, reception and pool area always kept clean and tidy. They lose one star on my review for the entertainment (needs a bit of work) and food - it is very good but not quite being up to the standards of other RIU hotels that I have previously stayed in. Good place to go for winter sunshine but not much else to recommend about Agadir.

  • 2/5 Salma P. 7 months ago on Google
Entertainment staff are amazing but the infestation of ants in my room ruined my holiday - I paid £3000 to have clean up ants and buy 6 bottles of ant kill at 120 dirhams each. I have got videos of this and have to say I am rather disappointed- my stay at this hotel was from 30/8/2023-9/9/2023. I would never return to this hotel again for sure.

Beautiful hotel with great staff and facilities. The room was large and luxurious. Staff were always happy to help and very friendly. Entertainment were brilliant and the shows they put on were great. Good variety of drinks but would have liked more variety with the cocktails. Food was good quality and good variety but did get a little repetitive. Location wise it’s a little further along from the busier area which added to the luxury feel but made time out of the hotel a little more difficult.

Currently staying here with my husband and baby .there is no kettle in the room to make baby bottles when my husband went to the reception they tried to charge him a crazy amount .it’s supposed to be all inclusive and they also write baby facilities when advertising but can’t provide a simple kettle in the room. Do they expect us to go to the bar in the middle of the night when my baby needs a Bottle it’s a joke . This has caused me and my husband huge stress when we are supposed to enjoy and relax.instead we’re worried each time our daughter needs a feed.

I had a great holiday and loved the hotel and staff. A few tips though: The rooms need an iron and ironing board. They also need a kettle and some tea and coffee. Last thing is the food at the main restaurant could be better prepared. The bacon particularly was quite bad it was cooked for so long that it was this chewy leathery stuff that neither broke apart or could be easily chewed. I found most meat was way overcooked and just chewy. The rest was great though. My room 3024 had a number of broken features: the back door handle was almost broken off, the bathroom sink plug was not working properly, the sockets on the wall were coming loose, the frosting on the bathroom door was peeling off. Also on our first night our room key did not work. These issues should have been sorted before we got there, I don't really understand why they weren't. I didn't bring this up while there as my partner doesn't enjoy complaining but if you want to provide a better service I'd consider acting on all of these suggestions.

The most memorable aspect of my holiday was the Spa... absolutely 💯 Jamila, Moona, and my reflexology treatment was amazing. The staff at the Spa are the best i have ever experienced. Even in Jamaica 🇯🇲 which are disgracefully overpriced. Agadir is the best. . The Spa manager 😍 is lovely. Definitely will be returning in January 2023

I really enjoyed staying at this Hotel, we arrived very late almost 2am and they kept the small restaurant open for us to grab something to eat. We were tired and hungry from the journey so I was so pleased to manage to get something to eat. What was very interesting was the staff at the hotel, they were excellent, very helpful and polite. I really loved the Moroccan people. I would definitely go back again in the future. I was there with my son Jacob.

Just got back from a 10 night stay 23/10 Hotel very clean and impressive !!! Staff very friendly and hard working Only downfall for us was the food, cold And same every night both myself and partner was poorly being sick and stomach cramps! Two nights of the holiday wasn’t serving beer against their religion apparently luckily we don’t drink much alcohol if so we would have been fuming! Seeing you have paid for it all inclusive One restaurant was closed and bar serving all day snacks was closed to No mention of this when booking? My first impression was great come back with family but not sure now which is a shame such a stunning place

We had a wonderful holiday at the Hotel Riu Tikada Dunas, staff were the best, from reception, bar staff, restaurants, animation team etc all so pleasant and helpful, everywhere was spotless, lovely hotel. Food was varied, so always something for everyone, only one slight criticism, food in evening restaurant, wasn't always hot, lunchtime restaurant was fine, I don't know if it was volume of guests in evening or the temperature of heated area. But it didn't spoil our stay. We will definitely be back for another holiday,

We loved the settings. Service and personel amazing, helpful and cooperative. Buffet great. But… Internet not stable and definitely not reliable in rooms far from the reception. Have that in mind if you need to work on internet during your stay. Loud music and bang bang until 2 am from a nightclub close-by. Unbearable. Be ready for it if your room is in the 3000s. We went there for a quiet place to work and sleep. A fail. We had a good price sure, but had we known we would not have paid it.

This hotel is one of the best in Agadir. It is very clean and looks very modern and contemporary. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. From the security to the reception. In particular Essadia… she is always smiling and very attentive. Her English language was spot on. And any issues she would find a solution. The other staff were also very nice. The food was also delicious… loads of variety and always stocked up. One downside… can get repetitive. The gym is also decent… sufficient enough for an all round workout. Swimming pool is amazing. I would definitely come back. Highly recommended

I loved everything ! I have to say I am not at all used to all inclusive service for I had a bad image of it. This hotel made me change my mind : the food was always good and so much different everyday with special evenings. Always fresh vegetables served as salads. The staff is the greatest experience of then hotel ! From the front desk to the waiters and cleaning staff and door men! They are all very professional and genuinely nice. Drinks are ok. Entertainment changed every evening. Rooms are great and large especially those with sea view. The only let down is the fact that swimming pool closes early ! Room was great Location is in Agadir

Great location literally a stones throw from the beautiful sandy beach. Great promonade to be able to walk the length of the beach to a beautiful marina (about an hours leisurely walk away). The hotel staff are amazing, the whole place is spotless and the gardens are immaculate. Rooms are comfortable need a little bit updating (don't spend much time in the room only to shower and sleep) but again was spotlessly clean - the cleaning team attend everyday. Buffet style all inclusive. Separate Asian and Morrocan restaurants available to book... Moroccan restaurant was great, food was amazing. Would definitely recommend.

Nice resort, staff very friendly and helpful. Problem with people leaving their towels on Sun loungers over night and from very early in the morning to reserve them then not returning until late afternoon! Very rude and annoying. Would love to see the chaos if the hotel picked up all the towels at 07:30 each morning.

100% recommend and would love to come back! We just stayed here last week, it was an amazing stay! Shoutout to Ayboude who was the entertainer during the day, he was there every single day and had amazing energy and ran a great aqua aerobics! The drink selection was amazing, great choice for an all inclusive was a massive bonus. The rooms were lovely, spacious, very clean and nice shower The grounds and pool were clean and gorgeous. The hotel was huge and just the views when on a sunbed were gorgeous. The food in the standard restaurant wasn’t my favourite but did have the staples so never went hungry. The two special restaurants (Asian and Moroccan) were gorgeous, lovely and fresh and would recommend booking asap (must book the table but still included) The night entertainment was amazing, you had a show every night and then a karaoke bar open till 13:00 which was amazing if you don’t want to leave the resort! I can’t wait to come back and enjoy another mojito!

The staff truly make this resort a great destination. The facilities are good and it’s well located for the beach and a taxi to town. The food does become a bit similar day after day, but the Moroccan and Asian restaurants and a good mix.

It was a nice getaway vacation for us. The 5 stars are mostly for the staff friendliness and management! The General Manager is seen present daily and does regular walk throughs all across the property, talking with guests, directing staff, fixing issues. Clearly he cares about his property and takes pride in his job. The hotel needs much needed renovation and a drink selection for guests. The draining system in the rooms could also use some updating. Overall a nice destination and if you’re going with kids they will love it!

Pros: Nicely designed with four swimming pools outside and a garden. Plenty of sunbeds for bathing and reading novels (in Jan). Polite, friendly staff. Delicious food provided by 4 restaurants. Beautiful live music every evening. Cleaners often decorated the room beautifully, in addition to keeping it clean. Well located. We walked along the beach almost every day. Predictable, sunny weather. Cons: Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner were not provided. There is some gel in the shower area, but it is not of the highest quality. We also had to buy some toothpaste ourselves. (It costs 5 local money if you go to local shop.) Do not ask the receptionist to assist you in booking an airport transfer: It is likely to cost you 300 local money instead of 150 local money. We also did not like the two single beds placed next to each other (as opposed to a double bed).
