When you arrive do not go with any tour operators that are arranged by the hotel reception, it'll be pushed on you as they stay in the hotel facility and overcharge by 4 times the amount you should be paying. I would recommend walking along the beach front and finding a guy who works outside the RIU hotel for tours as you won't pay more than 300dirhams for any tour. The hotel won't tell you until check out but be aware you'll have to pay the country's tax as a tourist which is around 35dirhams per night so I would ask upon arrival to save yourself the shock. The hotel itself is nice and clean, pool area always has enough space, breakfast is okay, fresh omelettes can be made from the hot plate however, the buffet isn't self service which is quite annoying. I wouldn't reccomend eating on the beach front unless you either have kfc or mcdonalds as that's the only food worth eating, we went to El Toro and paid the equivalent of £80 and the food wasn't to a good standard it was shocking. If you want decent food that is reasonably priced and where the locals eat which is always a good sign put 'Roastery' in your phone maps which will put you in a good location for food, coffee and crepes and you'll pay less than half what you'll pay at the hotel and on the beach front for actual decent food. There's also a supermarket on the way to the Roastery which is big and well priced, you'll pay less than 7dirhams for a litre bottle of water compared to paying 30dirhams in the hotel. One last thing everyone knows Brits don't lie so please listen to the above and you won't go far wrong, I wish someone else would have wrote the equivalent for us. Whatever you get offered price wise while in Morocco you shouldn't be paying anymore than a third of what the original offer was.

I was stating in this Hotel in December. I got robbed from my room, they stole jewelry. The police was informed but the Hotel is supposed to be in charge of this robbery. I am waiting for the Police rapport. I'll be back soon to see the closure of this robbery. I won't settle until I get my jewelry back.

DO NOT BOOK taxi with hotel walk a couple of minutes to Main Street and you’ll find CHEAP red taxis everywhere. The hotel food was not nice at all. Search roastery restaurant it’s like a ten minute walk trust me you will love the food there. There’s all fancy restaurants near the hotel just Google Roastery the fancy restaurants are soooo CHEAP and delicious. Also walk it to Olivery it’s a fancy desert parlour near the hotel well worth the short walk. Don’t eat at the hotel.

Came to this hotel 4 years ago and absolutely loved it! Came back last month and really did not enjoy as much. I did not feel secure here and customer service was not good to make me feel better. Food has also gone downhill and will no longer my Go to for Agadir trips unfortunately.

Had an amazing experience in this hotel, just want to say how clean and helpful the staff are. My spa experience at this hotel was great, The beauty therapist Ayesha, who done my Hamaam at the hotel was so talented and lovely, she made me feel very comfortable can’t wait for my other Beauty treatments with Ayesha.

This hotel is really pretty with a good location. The staff is so lovely, nice and respectful! They speak so many languages, almost everyone speaks English. The rooms are really clean and cute. The only thing I dont really like/dislike is that the WIFI doesn’t work as good in the room, for example. If you are on the bed which is not even a little far from the windows to the balcony, there is no WIFI. In the bathroom the whole signal is out (literally no wifi). You have to sit on the balcony or on the couch which is literally direct at the window, if you are inside the building, (reception, couch, dining, and pool area) have good wifi even though its not even far from the room. A little information, if you have the room card, it might get expired if you enter a store with these security tag scanners (these two things almost everywhere infront of the doors). You will have to go to the reception and they code it for you. Everything else is so good! Lovely staff, and dinner is also great.

Excellent hotel and staff. Location is a bit far away from the marina as its in opposite direction however it is so nice and peaceful down here.

We stayed last year in this hotel. It was amazing, worth the money. The room was beautiful, we had a balcony/patio with beautiful view and overlooking the pool. Fast service, helpful, friendly staff, distance of 5 minutes walk to beach. Our room was on the first floor, had a locker in the room(which didn't seem to lock properly but it was fixed right away). The room felt classy, comfy and like an apartment you would like to own.Plenty of storage to put away your things. Very Good assortment at the breakfast, thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Great for Families.Amazed its only a 4 star, it deserves more. Made our experience beautiful and wanting to visit Agadir again soon.

Our room was really nice and the pool was great. Everyday the pool was near empty and free beds everywhere, they supply you with towels, and the pool manager made sure the kids had diving sticks etc, so that was great. I didn't like the buffet, but they do the most amazing pancakes for breakfast. outside the hotel is a bit dodgy, it's like, there's plots for future hotels, but they have been abandoned 10 years ago, so you have like, nice hotel, dirty plot, nice hotel, 2 dirty plots, nice hotel...etc... and to get to the beach you have to walk past these unfinished plots, where stray dogs are hanging around etc. Beach was nice, town was good. I liked the place, but I wouldn't go back.

Location is not central, however me and my family loved the hotel. ATM and local shops can be found 5 to 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Few taxis usually available at the entrance of the hotel throughout the day. Quite beach just few minutes walk from the hotel (no shops etc) Restraunt food was excellent. The staff particularly zainab, Ibraheem and idrees were very helpful and entertained the kids everytime we went for breakfast and dinner. Other staff and cleaners were also very friendly. Owner umar was very attentive. Had noisy neighbours, I mentioned this to reception who promptly dealt with the matter. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Loved our week at the Hotel Timoulay. Comfy beds, great housekeeping to highest standard, pool super for swim and chill, great waiting staff in restaurants, attentive pool attendants and access to orange taxis to wherever you want to go. Thank you for a lovely stay!

The Hotel is beautiful and cozy . The Service from the security group , the people in the restaurant to the reception team : all were trully friendly and nice . The food is fantastic and delicious. Importantly, it is always clean and smells fresh. But sometimes, unfortunately, there is some loud music at night and the Wi-Fi is not so good. I recommend it .

A big THUMBS UP from Ireland! Firstly, I will review the hotel then some tips for Agadir at the end for anyone interested. Fantastic stay at the hotel, our first time in Morocco and we are so glad we picked here. The staff make it, without the stay the hotel is the same as any other. GIVE THE STAFF A RAISE! They are so friendly, so helpful and are definitely chasing perfection. That pool is the cleanest pool I have ever seen, the cleaning crew that clean your room are amazing. Attention and care to small details. The SPA treatments, oh my fecking god…world class and I’ve been to a lot of SPAs. Value for money was insane. Every morning there are dozens of workers, gardeners, cleaners bustling around the place scrubbing every inch of the hotel. I will be honest; this was our first time in Morocco and although we would consider ourselves nice people, we were conscious about our behaviour in a mostly Muslim country. We felt extremely comfortable, welcome, and safe at the hotel and in Agadir. You would have to travel very far to find a people as welcoming as the people we met in Agadir, a noticeable big push on tourism and everyone is playing their part. Definitely choose this hotel, you don’t want to stay in the Marina, it’s too hectic. You don’t want to stay at the ones along the beach, they are too big and you lose that personal service. This is the best hotel in Agadir, stayed for the 7 nights and we felt catered to and prioritised at every point. Have a few special mentions here but apologies I met so many nice people that I couldn’t remember all the names. The lifeguard/pool attendant in white is constantly checking the water cleanliness, checking in with us to see how our day was and if we needed anything. His happy demeanour would put you in a great mood! The barman who would give me the bottle opener and the glasses with ice even when I was bringing my own beer, and always drop us out a tray of nuts and olives to pick on without asking, just out of the blue. We are both car enthusiasts, had some nice conversations around our cars! The front desk reception, Omar and his crew, the security and doorman – can’t say enough about these guys, always warm, always welcoming and would sort out everything for us and give us great advice about where to go and what not to waste time on etc.

Wow lovely hotel and spa. Very big and spacious room with balcony view to the pool and sea. Sea was about 7 mins walk. Food is lovely here and everything is nearby. Crocodile zoo is only 6 miles away. We are here with our 7years old son.

We decided to stay at Hotel Timoulay for our first family holiday to Morocco 🇲🇦. Me and my family stayed at the hotel for 5 nights, and we cannot fault it! The rooms were spacious, modern and always clean. The staff are extremely helpful and always have a smile on their faces! The receptionist, security guard, and the hotel cats always welcomed us back to the hotel whenever we went out. Hotel Timoulay is not too far from the beach either, about a two minute walk. The breakfast buffet always had a great selection and me and my family loved it. Most notably, the hotel manager Omar was so helpful! Our flight was at 6pm on the day of checkout, and Omar allowed us to keep our room until 2pm (when we set off to the airport). I would highly recommend Hotel Timoulay. We hope to be back soon!!

First time coming to Morocco and I am so happy it was this hotel we stayed in. The staff are all so lovely. The rooms are spacious. There's a nice smelling scent in the hotel and wardrobes in our room. Start of September is a nice time to go because its quiet and can easily get a sunbed. The beach is less than 10 minutes walk away. There's a nice burger place 5 mins away called ohmybun! They have tasty hotdogs and burgers there. There's a nightclub across the way, nice and laid back. Big thank you to all the reception staff that looked after me and my mam there And the security staff. I hope to come back again in the future 😊

Love this place and its staff so much.... every time I get to Agadir it's the only place I want to stay and believe me I try the places around. It's always a pleasant time with the Family there. Quiet and relaxing. The personnel is genuinely very caring. Great Room Best Staff Excellent Service

This place was ok, I've stayed in better in this area. The best part was the wait staff for the buffets, they were cheerful and happy. However, the cleaning staff is a real problem. On check out day, more than two and a half hours before checkout time, the cleaning lady parked her cart in front of my door and banged on my door with her broom handles then scampered down the walkway. I opened the door, went out and ask her, What? She said, Check out, 5 minutes? I told her, No, 2 hours. Then 15 minutes later she was banging on the door with her brooms. I tried their massage and it actually hurt my face with their worn out table. When I mentioned it, they said they knew about it. There are better places to go.

Great hotel would highly recommend for a relaxing stay. Never any trouble getting a sunbed by the pool which gets sun well into the evening (towels provided at reception at no extra cost/deposit), lots of choice for breakfast. Lunch was also very tasty and very reasonably priced. The staff are great, helping with anything like booking excursions if you want, booking taxis for the airport, exchanging money etc. Housekeeping staff were exceptional, room was spotless every day, fresh towels etc. The hotel is a little far out but still walkable to restaurants etc, and taxis are so cheap and frequent (agree a price with driver first). Would absolutely stay again.

Lovely little hotel in Agadir with spacious and very well maintained rooms. The staff are friendly and helpful and nothing is too much trouble for them. There's a small pool, but it's never overcrowded and you can always get a sun lounger. There's a limited menu at the restaurant and the food is decent enough, though the evening buffet is a bit pricey compared with eating out elsewhere. It's less than 10 mins walk to the beach-front promenade and a similar distance to local shops, cafes and restaurants. Very much recommend if you're considering a holiday in Agadir.

Beautiful hotel. But our experience wasn't great number 1 because of the cockroaches we saw. We saw two in the toilet and the following day one huge cockroach was crawling on my daughters buggy 🤮 It was horrible! When we spoke to the manager he said its normal in Morocco to have cockroaches 🤨 Secondly the breakfast we paid for was really not nice. There wasn't much of a selection and we had our kids with us, they didn't like anything either so we had to head out everyday looking for somewhere to eat. The pool was amazing, right outside our balcony, we spent a lot of time there and the workers there were very friendly.

WiFi very poor. A main prerequisite for me when travelling allowing me to keep in touch. Therefore disappointed with that. Staff are excellent. Meals are typical buffet style but a la carte is ok . EPL games shown in bar most nights. Unfortunately next door hotel has too loud music most nights. Rooms have second door between hall and bedroom shutting off noise so that helps. Walked from hotel to beach and along full distance of boulevard and back where there are plenty bar/restaurants, 6.9 miles round trip Many street sellers annoy you on the walk. Nice mini souk half- way along boulevard, worth a visit, less hassle compared to main souk. Visit to fortress don't buy anything there prices cheaper in mini souk in centre of boulevard. Weather been great breezy 25 degree c.

Our first time in Morocco, service of the highest standard, men so respectful of women. The cleanliness is of a high standard constantly being cleaned. Go and see Baz at the bar he is the guy with the biggest smile! He totally spoilt us while we were there noting was too much trouble.

  • 5/5 Paul M. 1 year ago on Google
Wonderful hotel! The morrocan food on the first night was exceptional. The second night was French inspired which was not as good but still of a good standard. Could not fault the service because we got a free room upgrade as soon as we arrived and they couldn't do enough for us. The room was a beautiful junior suite that could provide enough space for a family! Was in a quieter part of the city but still a nice walk along the beach front to the heart of the action at night. Would definitely stay here again!

A nice hotel with spaciousrooms, helpful staff and good breakfast. The wifi is not strong. You need to ask for a router!

  • 1/5 AARON G. 1 year ago on Google
The good part are the bedrooms there are well cleaned, decorated, with a lot of space. The bad part is the WiFi, sometimes you have it, sometimes you don't. For whatever reason the phone was ringing in the night the first day, I disconnected it for all the trip. I can't judge breakfast since I don't it it usually. The buffet is not really a buffet, people serve you and you have to negotiate to be served more. When eating you can't have free water (if you don't do Ramadan). Only tap water in the room. In the gym there is 5 machines for cardio and musculation, 3 don't work.

A great hidden gem of a hotel. A smaller, very clean hotel with bright artistic decor a few Kms from the beach in a slightly quieter location. The service is exceptional from reception staff Omar and Mohammad who are always very polite, friendly and extremely helpful. The Manager Hussain is a true gentleman, very polite and courteous. The food including breakfast is fresh and lovely the service very good. My stay was very pleasant and hopefully I will return as I met some fantastic people there. Keep up the great work!!

Very very nice hotel. Room was cleaned every single day without fail to a very high standard. Food served at the restaurant is delicious and always served with a smile. Staff were very friendly and made my family feel very comfortable. Always very interactive with my little boy. They allowed us a late check out for free which was a good compliment. Hotel ground also kept very clean. Pool are was very calm and maintained to a high standard. The only thing stopping this from a 5 star Is the fact that the hotel does not have any shops nearby for every day essentials when you have a young child. Required a few trips to the supermarket in the week we were there which was more inconvenient than anything else. I suppose there will be shops popping up soon once the rest of the hotels have been developed and there is more footfall. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
