We stayed here 2 nights and a day It's a very classy and individual place. Coherent design and interiors in a modern style that interprets traditional Moroccan architectural values. It is beautiful and interesting. Unique. The hotel is complete and the gardens are a work in progress but already very interesting. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful, the food is excellent. I would stay here again gladly.

Literally a hidden gem of Agadir, Morocco. Located very close to the airport, so my spouse booked to spend a night before we hit to road again, but we both wish we spent more time at Villa du Souss. The place has a history, as the Souss family's farm, and house later on. Then the son of the family converted it into a hotel and it is BEAUTIFUL. All the paintings, antiques, family members' pictures, fruit trees, flowers, every detail at this hotel is beautiful.

Beautiful, peaceful place to unwind and relax. Mekki and his team are wonderful hosts who made us feel like we were visiting friends. Authentic, highest quality food right from the garden. The villa, the garden, the rooms - everything is reduced to the max. A hidden gem. Thank you, Mekki & Team!

Our stay at Villa di Souss has been perfect, amazing, warm. The host welcomed us, we had an interesting talk. We had a walk in the garden of the the villa and discovered the sunset! This was a beautiful end of the day, the colors of Maroc were at their best. I suggest you to have dinner at the villa. We enjoined a typical dinner with local dishes in one of the many living rooms of the villa. The food was very good, homemade and the service was warm and very polite. Also breakfast has been very good. After dinner I suggest to take some time to read a book in library room. Have a seat on one of the sofa and enjoy the sounds of the nature with your book. The rooms are all different one each other, all that is needed is available. Simple and clean. Again many thanks to Mekki for his kindness and the beautiful hospitality. He is taking care with heart of his villa and every year with his precious work he is keeping this stunning place a good spot to stop! It is the second time we stay here and I am already looking forward for next year!

Great host, telling inspiring stories about the venue, about Morocco and giving tailor made tips to spend time at authentic places. The villa itself is so beautiful, with an endless amount of details that make you want to explore every corner. The staff is super friendly, good mooded and cooks great meals. We stayed here a full week and used the place as our base camp for many excursions exploring the area. A week felt too short and we will definitely return. We fell in love with Mekki (the owner), the house and the region.

Villa du souss is a good choice if you want an authentic and relaxing stay in a smaller boutique style accommodation. The food was homemade and there was a great garden space to relax or work in The team that run villa du souss are welcoming and helpful, and it felt safe to stay alone as a female traveller. They can arrange safe transfers from /to Agadir or Agadir airport from 100-150 dhr

I asked the owner if this is a house or a museum, for it really looks like a piece of architectural heritage; a beautiful building indeed, decorated with care and taste, with all the necessary amenities embedded in a traditional decor that provides a very cozy and "feel-like-home" atmosphere. When I arrived, although it was way past midnight, Mekki was at the property's gate awaiting for me with a welcoming smile and an elegant posture that never left him. The villa is very close to the airport (some 10-12 minutes by car), but the surroundings are so peaceful that you might easily think you're somewhere out in the wilderness. Combine that to the comfortable bed and you'll have a sleep like never before. Excellent breakfast - furtherly enhanced by the conversation with a fellow traveler, a regular of the place (is there anyone who comes here once and doesn't want to become a regular? I don't think so). The only regret: that I was only staying here for less than 12 hours. It surely deserves more.

Unique and traditional Morocco family hotel. It looks even better than the pictures. Hotel owner is very hospitable and we really enjoyed the conversations with him. Highly recommended!

Amazingly original Moroccan experience. Beautiful building and garden. Excellent food. And the best is the exceptional service. It's close to the airport, but also somewhat away from everything else.

The owner (Mekki) was friendly and helpful, and promptly and fully responded to all enquiries that we had prior to making a reservation. The owner identified which room exactly we were booking and clarified all aspects. The booking process was easy and straightforward. Unfortunately, we had to cancel the reservation at a short notice, and the owner was flexible, helpful and sympathetic. In general, the owner has left a positive impression.

Mekki and his team provided us with the most wonderful stay we could have wished for. We spent almost our entire vacation just staying at Villa du Souss and in the desirable garden because there is so much to discover... and experience when Mekki explains Morocco (and the world) to you. The food is about the best we've ever had (for real) and Kaoutar and the rest of the ladies in service go out of their way to make sure you're full with food, spoiled with tea and satisfied at all times. The bedrooms have a unique charm and the dining rooms leave you amazed. A place full of heart and soul, we look forward to seeing again!

Amazing experience. Beautiful building, feels homely and so comfortable. The owner and host, Mekki, goes above and beyond regular sevice standards. And is a charming and engaging host. The food is delicious, and plentiful. It's in a perfect position to visit surrounding places of interest. Marvelous holiday. We'll definitely go back 😁

This is just a beautiful place. The father of the host created it and did the interieur decorating. It is fantastic. Privileged to have stayed there.

We accidentally found this place to spend a night after a long flight. And this was the best experience I could imagine to dive into the atmosphere of Morocco. The house is so cozy, beautiful. All details are carefully designed. I wish we would stay more than 1 night! You will be met by a friendly and welcoming host, speaking perfect English and willing to make your stay as comfortable as it could be. You will find a perfect, clean accommodation, tasty home made food and relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommend it!

We were pleasantly surprised by the place. Its a beautiful mansion with cozy rooms and relaxing atmosphere. The host was super friendly and helpful. While it's not in the heart of the city, it's very well situated for those who are coming or leaving Agadir, as it's close to the airport.

It was a very nice house with amazing people. The provider speaks perfect English and is a very nice and open-minded guy. The service was very good, the rooms are large and clean. The food was very tasty. You can really feel the culture and tradition in this house. The location is not really good reached without car. But for me it was OK because I had to go to the airport early in the morning and it's really closed to the airport. Greetings from australia switzerland 😉😅

Villa du Souss is a beautiful old family home. The decor is exquisite. It is an oasis of calm and peace. The breakfast was delicious. The host could not have been nicer. The only caveat is that it was very difficult to find. My advice would be to request airport pick-up. We will definitely be back.

Our stay in Villa du Souss was a truly amazing experience. If you want to see a bit of Moroccan culture, visit it. Mekki was very hospitable and literally planned our trip in Agadir from landing to taking off. He ordered us a taxi from and to the airport so we had no worries to get to the airport even for the first morning flight. Apart from the beauty of Vila, we also enjoyed a good food! We had a choice between several typical dishes. We chose kefta meatballs and vegetable tagine. Really tasty and amazing! Overall, we recommend everything and we look forward to our next stay in Vila!

Situated just slightly off the beaten track, Villa du Souss is an oasis of great hospitality in beautiful surroundings. Well worth seeking out. Meki is a wonderful host, helpful, unobtrusive and informative. We will visit again!

The Palace and the room were beautiful. The garden is amazing and the owner is working to make it better. Here we had also the best tajine of Morocco. The story of the palace is touching and we are happy we could meet the owner.

If you stay here, you are in for a special treat. The owner (a fantastic host) converted his parents former retirement home into a gorgeous bed and breakfast. The home is exquisite! It’s full of beautiful Moroccon art and is an art piece in and of itself. Take your time, explore the gardens, admire the details. You will not regret staying here. I can’t wait to come back and see it in the day light!

This was one of our greatest travel experiences, in no small part to a host that made everything incredibly easy and memorable. I speak often about it and cannot forget the place and its stories and the memories we made on our adventures that were only possible with the help of our knowledgeable host. This is the way to travel!
