Please avoid this Hotel!!! The air conditioner in our room (727) did not work during the entire vacation. Even though we went to the reception 3 times for 3 days and asked for the air conditioning to be fixed since we couldn't sleep any night because of the heat and on top of that, the air conditioner was leaking and all the water was pouring into our closets and onto our clothes. Our requests were ignored and only taken seriously when my friend and I requested another room. At that moment, the gentleman who works at the reception started yelling, but literally yelling at us and repeating that there is not a single free room, to end up giving us a fan/electric Ventilator. However, that was not the only problem. Perhaps the worst of all is the fact that the waiters do not wash the forks, spoons and knives, but only wipe them with a dry cloth and pass them on. Unfortunately, due to the lack of hygiene, we had stomachaches for several days. In addition to all that, the tables were not prepared after the guests had eaten. That is, if you came for the last hour to eat, you had to find your way around and look for utensils and glasses, not to mention the services of the waiter. The air conditioning does not work both in the hotel and in the restaurant. The choice of food is poor, especially for breakfast. The water in the pool is white, a couple of times there was garbage swimming. We waited 3 hours for them to bring us an parasol , after we asked for it 3 times. The beach is dirty and blocked by huge tents of local residents, so getting to the water is a big struggle. The water was also dirty and full of algae. Overall, this hotel does not deserve 4 stars and is definitely overpriced and not worth the money you will pay. One big disaster.

Hotel is located at the beach front and this is the only advantage. Overall one of the worst hotels I have been. Guests are not respected at all. We got a room in the main reception, which was a nightmare. Overall room looks good, specious but the noise from the disco and the bottom bar is so loud, that you can hear it in your room like this party was next to your bed!! Everyday untill 5 am! This is completely unacceptable. We spent there 3 nights only, but can not imagine to be there more time. I do not recommend this place. Moreover the staff speak mostly french, almost no English. All entertainments are in french so other guests are just ignored.

A very nice, big, fully equipped hotel. The hotel is in a very good location. The staff is very nice. I also really liked the evening programs. Loved the night club too. Big pool, good and tasty food, beautiful view of the ocean. I would like to come back again ā˜ŗļø

The good: helpful and friendly staff, especially in the restaurant Food was good-lots to choose from, good stork lager beer. Easy to drink, cocktails not my cup of tea - too much sugar/sour mix in them. Maybe add something that is not so sweet (bloody mary would be a nice addition) Mostly caters older french crowd that are polite and friendly (unlike russians who have overrun every other place in the world and are rude and loud) The room was big albeit a bit outdated. Everything was kept clean. Lots of animation going on - sadly it was mostly in french Everybody understood english, had no problem communicating. Everybody super friendly with children, although there were only few of them on the premise and some were maybe a bit too familiar for an european (kissing kid on the chin) The bad; It needs some refreshments. Loud disco going on until 4-5 oā€™clock ( i dont understand, most people are retired here, who the hell wants to listen to blasting club music into the early morning hours???) Lots of noise pollution - due to the disco it was hard to sleep for us and our baby. If possible get a room as far away from main building as possible. Rooms are cold, tried using the ac for heating but it did not work as intended. There are rules that are not enforced enough - there is no reservation policy for beach/pool chairs, but people still put towels on the chairs and leave for hours - lame. The chairs were mostly taken evennthough its not prime season. Beach towels are available from 9-12 and 14;30 - 17. Dont understand why is it so. Water can be taken only from the restaurants. No water available in bars which is unseen. It might seem there are lots of negatives but they were not big things. So altogether 4/5. There is room for improvement but theyā€™ve gotten most important things right. For me the biggest downfall was the disco. I came for a relaxation trip but only got good nights sleep with earplugs and had to use white noise generator for the baby to sleep well. The mini/kids club was closed. The children pool dirty, unattended and in the shade - so not suitable for children.

It was horrible we paid more than 1000Ā£ for 4 nights to get good service and good stay but we were surprised that people swim with them clothes in the swimming pool they dont take shower before going to swim.and i had a problem with the air conditioner it wasnā€™t working and i called the reception he said he will send the technician to fix it but he didnā€™t i was without air conditioner for 3 nights they dont care because they made a deal with big company in morocco (OCP) people who work in this company they pay less money and the company pay for the rest because of this they donā€™t care they want just make money they dont care for the guests and the food was horrible my mum was eating just juice with bread and when we told them the food is horrible they didnā€™t care it was bad experience one more thing the car keeper told us to park far from the hotel because this reserved for people who work in the hotel but it was a lie because i saw him give the place for hotel guest who give him a bribe it was really horrible dont go in this hotel my sister went to rio tikida she said it was fantastic she spent a great time there.

The Decameron Tafoukt is a lovely resort to stay at when visiting Agadir. Situated on the beach strip, it has its own private beach with loungers and beach umbrellas. They offer a good range of food at their all-inclusive buffet (breakfast 7-9am /lunch 12-2:30pm and dinner 6:30-8:30pm) with a snack bar 11-5pm and drinks bar 11-11:30pm. Although they could have included some more continental options! They have plenty of entertainment running through the day by the pool, including aerobics. And a theatre which has some good shows after 9:45pm. I watched the Cabaret show and the Mamma Africa show, which was well choreographed and fun to view. The rooms are lovely. I stayed in building 400. They also offered me a family suite on the first night away from the noise of the night club music so I could get some rest. The room in building 400 had a big king-sized bed with a TV, a fridge, and a balcony. The AC worked exceedingly well. The bathroom was spectacular, with a huge walk-in shower. All their rooms are different, so it would be best to check with them first before selecting a room. Check in 3pm. Check out 12pm. The reception staff are always smiling and ready to help. Thank you, Decameron, for a lovely stay in Agadir šŸ‘šŸ¼

The location was good, near the beach, with a private beach. Unfortunately everyone is looking after tips, even after we made the check in we received a leaflet saying to be kind and to have prepared small notes( 20 -is the smaller note)for tips. If you are looking for day trips you can find better prices outside of the hotel. The food is just alright, they are trying to change every day but they don't have too many selections. The alcohol drinks are tasting all the same.

Building works in close proximity so awoken early each day for 7 days by banging, drilling and other noises attributed to building activity. Bathroom flooded on more than one occasion due to blockage in shower takeaway pipe . After reporting this it was still not repaired when leaving and not given alternative. No hot drink facilities in room which for a 4* must be a given ? Low budget wardrobe space ( handmade ) & not to a good standard. No furniture for underwear , socks , tights etc again not acceptable for a party of 2 for 7 days. In all the years if travelling we were astounded to find that there was no Iron , ironing board available in the room or in reception. Told we could pay for a laundry service ( per item ) again not acceptable. Not enough sockets within the room for electrical goods , phone charging, hairdryer, curling tongues , razors etc ( not comfortable using the points in the bathroom ) H&S Concerns. Overall for the 4* accommodation I would currently be hard pressed to call it a 2*. Staff all attentive whilst we were there ( as long as you were french ) which we are not. Fir all invlusive the variety/ selection was a little less than anticipated . For a 4* why oh why are you served alcoholic drinks in what can only be described as plastic beakers totally unacceptable for rating. The interior ( including the dinning room ) along with the grounds is full of cats which I find awful . Never will we be returning to this Hotel and would not recommend to our worst enemies. Avoid at all costs ... room 725

If you looking to have a relaxed visit next the pool. Donā€™t book your stay here. There is only one pool area with very loud music the whole day. So you canā€™t hear your self talk or read a book. The manager said it is a hotel club, so they have to have very loud music all the time and he did not really care. When we booked our reservation at booking.de it said nothing about it nor that there is the all day Animation.

We had an amazing week there. The best thing was to book all inclusive in there. One of the best resorts I stayed in. Food was top quality, massive range, great service, pool side bar. You name it and it has it. 5 star!

Very nice place, middle size hotel with good quality service. Clean pool, a lot of bars, snack bar, one main restaurant, second nearby. We had a family room, everything clean, nice and large bathroom, simple equipment but everything works fine. Perfect food service and large selection of meals during breakfast, lunch and dinner. Very kindly stuff. The lobby looks impressive. Wi-fi connection near the reception and around the pool good for video calling. We would like to come back.

Friendly staff, excellent food with good mix of European and Moroccan dishes. The grounds of the hƓtel are immaculately kept and the room cleaners do a great job. Entertainment team a bit too loud for my liking but hard working, fun and Friendly. The excursions with Explorer are superb. Totally recommend the 4x4 day in south Morocco, and the Marrakesh trip ( they have excellent guides who are full of insight)

Pictures are a bit deceptive however the resort is gorgeous. The entertainment staff are absolutely brilliant and really make your stay memorable and fun. We had an all inclusive package and really enjoyed the bottomless mocktails and snacks. The only issue was the timings for meals - breakfast stops at 9AM dinner stops at 8PM which is silly. Pool and beach are lovely but because everything is in French we didn't realise the resort had activities daily so we missed all of them as we only found out on our final day. The reception staff were friendly until you really needed help then suddenly they state at you blankly and cannot accommodate.

The staff, location, and food are excellent at this hotel. The rooms are thoroughly cleaned every day. While the hotel may not be very modern or luxurious, it compensates with its incredibly friendly atmosphere. There are daily activities for both kids and adults to enjoy. The hotel's beach is private and well-guarded, and the locals are very friendly. Additionally, you have the option to book tours that will pick you up directly from the hotel.

Personnel & location & food excellent, rooms are cleaned throughly every day. The hotel is not that modern and not a luxury hotel but extremely friendly. There is animation every day for the kids and also for adults. The beach that belongs to the hotel and the hotel itself is guarded but the locals are very nice. It is also possible to book tours that pick you up from the hotel.

Well located hotel in Agadir. 10 min walk to the Marina and directly seated at the beach. Not so great was that we faced for three days in a row the issue that there was no warm water between 6-8 pm. We reported it but hotel crew couldnā€™t really fix it. We were told that problem is known, but still no real solution was given to us, which is not ok. Anyhow, the personal in general was super kind and amazingly helpful.

Very nice hotel. Brilliant barmans, waiters and animation team. They have big swimming pool and hotel is located at the seafront with enclosed piece of the beach and sun loungers available for the hotel guests. Quite decent club is just round the corner from the hotel. Additional advantage is that they look after the local cats which I found absolutely adorable and worth praising.

Right on the pedestrianised promenade, straight on to a long sandy beach. Cafes, restaurants line the promenade. If you really must, there a McDonalds, KFC and Pizza Hut!!!. Great food, excellent holiday atmosphere with smiley, helpful, happy staff. Morrocan and French spoken widely but English is very much understood and spoken

We stayed here as a family of 4 for three nights. Parents and adult children. We had a family room, which consists of a bedroom and a living room with two single beds. The room were excellent and clean. The bathroom was quite nice but the tile work is falling off and needs immediate renovation. Similarly the shower head needed replacement as well as hardly any water was coming out of the shower. Overall the hotel is nice but it needs maintenance. The food buffet is excellent and they offer a wide variety of main course, starters and sweet options. The drinks in the restaurant can be tricky as the juices/lemonade and coffee available in the machines is horrible. The best option is to go with the Morrocan tea which is reasonable. The entertainment is quite basic. The Spa facilities are reasonable and excellent. The pool is nice and clean and the pool towels are readily available. The beach in this area is dirty and thats why we did not use the private beach facilities. All Staff I had a chance to interact with was very professional and always willing to help. For staff I will give 5 stars. Overall a decent experience. I would rather see better entertainment and renovated bathrooms.

Great for a all inclusive holidays! We spend 4 days in Marrakesh and then 5 in Agadir just to simply relax! Great food, great pool and the room were enormous! The only ā€bad thingā€ I would say if you stay in the main building the music in from the bar will stay loud until 2 am... But we were so tired from the pool and beach life that we would sleep like rocks!

I stayed here for five days and had bought the all inclusive package. This meant that I was able to get unlimited food during the times that the buffet is open, or during the times that the snackbar was open. The breakfast was open between: 7am - 10am Lunch: 12pm - 14pm Dinner: 7pm - 10pm These timings were definitely enough to have all the food you wanted, and even come when it opened and get another serving later on, towards the end of the timings for each. The food here was varied, but different. Sometimes they had very nice food, like they had a 'Mexican' day where they had wraps, guacamole, beans, sour cream and everything you can hope for in a Mexican meal. But even during this they had other food like spaghetti, they cooked fish, it was very good overall. For, say, breakfast they had yogurt, they had sausage, they had egg and they also had very nice fresh pressed juices as well which was excellent. With the all-inclusive stay you can also get unlimited alcohol or drinks in general like tea, soft drinks, and coffee, although the bar does close at around 11pm, so it isn't open at all times. There is another bar that is open until 1am but I didn't really use it as we were doing so many different things during the day that I wasn't staying awake until 1an anyway, most of the nights, so I didn't need to use it either. I will say that the quality of the alcohol here isn't great, and the vodka and rum just taste very similar. They also aren't as quick to get you drunk, as I had been used to from alcohol in the UK, but since it is unlimited, and you can get shots and all that, then there really isn't much to complain about. With the buffet, you get a 2L bottle of water as you aren't supposed to drink the tap water in this area, but as you can get one, or even multiple at every meal there isn't anything to complain about. There were also the activities that you could do through the hotel. What we ended up choosing was the massage, which was decent but could have been better, the your of the city, which was excellent and the driver was wonderful too and explained everything we needed to know. There was also the camel Barbeque, which I wouldn't recommend. This is because you're on a camel for 2h and it really starts to hurt your legs, and back and everything. The food was decent but it wasn't amazing, and the amount of barbeque that you get isn't that great either. However, the quad biking, which was the last thing we did, was really fun. Two people are on one quad bike, but you're able to switch over half way through, and you even stop off to get tea and biscuits which was a really nice touch. The person we were following took some very nice pictures too, and was a very nice person overall. Additionally, the staff were very friendly and very helpful too. Without even asking they took our bags from us to carry up to the room, which was much appreciated. There was also the constant cleanliness, as the hotel looked visually stunning in the reception area especially, and I never even saw one drop of anything, dirt included, on the floor which just shows their dedication to creating the best environment for their guests which I really appreciate. Overall, a very good hotel with very few flaws, and the flaws that they do have don't even matter too much. The food could be better, but it still is good, and the rest of the experience is excellent too!

Stayed a week in Hotel Decameron it's rated as a four star, but I think it really deserves a three. Reception is beautiful with good service. The rooms are very standard with dull lighting, poor water pressure with leaking tape, a fridge that doesn't keep anything cold, no WiFi only in reception or restaurant also very poor quality toilet paper that I didn't know was an issue until I stayed here šŸ¤£ But they do keep room clean. As for the restaurant, the selection of food was ok, being breakfast was always disappointing, but in saying that, i didn't go hungry. All the staff are polite and friendly and make you feel welcome, especially if you're tipping them, you'll have a new best friend for the duration. I would say don't expect much at the restaurant they are slow at resetting tables, and they don't change the tables' clothes. They use napkins to dust of crumbs and reuse the napkins after dusting. I thought that to be poor, but nobody said anything. Entertainment seemed to be good from what I could see. I just couldn't understand what they were saying as they all speak French. The hotel is located in a brilliant spot with a sea view from the restaurant and lovely sunsets. There are lots of things to see and do in Agadir, and it is a fantastic place. Be careful of the cab drivers they try their luck.

the food is disgusting and they have a really little food selection, i have all inclusive but there really isn't much food to eat between dinner, breakfast you have to wait 30 minutes for the man to make you pancakes and it's only at 4pm you can't go early and eat, you have to wait, even when they are ready. little European cuisine, only Moroccan. there is a snack bar but they have no choice at all with food you only have pancakes for which you have to wait till 4pm small burgers and sometimes little pices of pizza. at the end, after eating fish from canteens, I got poisoned.

The rooms were fine. A little cold and dark for the time of year we were there but clean. The bed was on the hard side. Pillows were good. There is no wifi in the rooms just the reception area. The staff were hit and miss. The cleaning staff were super friendly but the reception staff werenā€™t particularly helpful. The most frustrating part of the stay were the meals. We let them know in advance that we were vegan and gluten free. The reception staff when checking-in said to talk to the chef. We talked to the chef and ended up with 5 people around us not really listening or trying to explain to us the meals and what we could have. They ended up serving us a bland vegetable dish. So we then asked for a curry for the next meal and they agreed. They made the same dish again. Every meal we sat down to we had to explain several times that we are vegan and gluten free and no one took responsibility to accommodate us. Every meal we would be given things we couldnā€™t eat or suggested something with meat or dairy. This really ruined the experience and made it difficult at every meal. It always seemed that it was someone elseā€™s problem to solve but we never knew who. We werenā€™t asking them to make anything difficult. Vegetable tajine. Meals they already made like fried rice and ratatouille, but they just didnā€™t care. The restaurant has a great spot on the beach. The gym is really basic but the treadmills felt unsafe so I didnā€™t use them. As all inclusives go, it was quite disappointing. Iā€™d suggest looking for others.

I had two weeks Allegro and two weeks decameron. X Location is perfect (sea side) X Rooms are clean, (old building some showers in rooms outdated), rooms are mostly big. X Food is good but Allegro is really better). X Music volume pool is good, although during animation events it is maybe a bit loud, but those do not last long. X Table tennis is nice X Animation people are really nice, creative and good dancers. I would say exceptional team. X Pool, child friendly X Rooms with sea view ( more expensive of course) X Restaurant also on sea side To be improved X Wifi is not available in all rooms X evening dinner starts at 1900 ( with small children it is a bit late, there are snacks but mostly not very healthy - Allegro dinner start at 1830. X it is not possible to get a good coffee in the hotel (only machine coffee, with powder milk) X During peak hours the restaurant is not efficient. -10 minutes to stand in line for a baked egg. - waiting in a line when there is no need for a line at all(insufficient rooting) - waiting for clean coffee/ tea cups - tables not prepared and waiting quite long to be ready. Restaurant manager does not seem to care a lot, only if you get vocally angry. Alternative is to eat at a restaurant at the boulevard , in case you meet peak hours. But that is not what you want when you book all inclusive. If there is no peak it is doable.

**LOVED AGADIR!!! WOUD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!!!!***My family of 4 stayed at this hotel for 4 nights this past week. We booked a ā€œfamilyā€ room with a beach view. There was one ā€œdoubleā€ bed and two sofas. There was no bedding for the sofas, we had to ask the receptionist to send some up for us. The air conditioning did not work and the hotel does not have any fans. The food was decent. However, I found a very long dark hair in my food during one of our meals there. The pool area was nice, but the sporadic access to towels is quite inconvenient. The beach area is very nice and comfortable. After checking out and flying home, I realized we had left behind a small bag of souvenirs. After speaking with the hotel several times, they claim their staff found nothing in the room and we ā€œmustā€™ve left it somewhere elseā€. Even after I told them this was not possible, they refuse to admit their staff took them. Yes, I realize I should have done a more thorough check of the room. They claim nothing like this has ever happened. Yet, after further investigation, I find at least 2 reviews that state customers were stolen from by this hotels staff. Itā€™s very disheartening and frustrating to be lied to. I was not expecting them to send me my belongings without paying the shipping costs. They have since blocked my number so I can jo longer call.

The hotel is great. The food is the best all inclusive I have had and the staff are all lovely. You get a warm welcome and are treated great throughout. The entertainment however, is where they are let down. The entertainment was not regular enough and far too late for families. When there was entertainment on, it wasn't until 9.45pm and never started before 10pm so nothing you can take kids too really and means you have nothing to entertain them which was disappointing. Considering what a great hotel this is, you would have thought they would cater to families as well as couples etc and have the entertainment on earlier. It is also the only hotel I have been to which has entertainment on only every other night which again was not great. I actually didn't get to see any entertainment my whole stay because of this but my partner assured me when they did have entertainment on it was thoroughly enjoyable. You feel safe in the hotel and there is a good beach area right outside, although you get pestered by sellers on the beach. It was a good location and a great find for our stay in Agadir. I also agree with other reviews though that the hotel is very much catered to its French guests with entertainment in French aswell. Overall I would recommend the hotel and hope they improved the entertainment for the future.

Big Rooms, except some small things broken. The food ist tasty but not very different, everyday Almost the same things. Service: some are kind and some throw you things on the table. The guys at the bar should be more working clean, if you as for a coffee, the cup ist always dirty an dropping down. Cleanless: the rooms are good made and smell good after cleaning. Nothing missing and that is important Activities: it depends on what you want to do. Gym: big but unfortunately things habe Rost and broken. It is a pitty, many guest say the same thing. Anyway , I hope it will get better

Worse hotel experience ever start from the front desk with bad attitude and no welcoming faces. - not beach front as itā€™s shared with public and have to pass that to access the beach - the room we booked online not available upon arrival - pool is small and not cleaned - Wi-Fi is only available near the front desk - Food is bad - service crew are not polite - rooms are terrible and very old. We opened the door and it broke - no parking available - elevator donā€™t work I would definitely avoid staying at this hotel as itā€™s a trash and poor in quality and services.

The staff especially the service and the animation team is so friendly, welcoming and helpful. There are a lot of activities for all ages such as aqua gym, beach volleyball, karaoke etc. The food was so delicious (even for a vegan there were plenty of choices) and each day the restaurant offered variations for the buffet. Its very clean, everything was cleaned daily. Our room was a little outside from the hotel area and quite basic but sufficient. The beach was just over the promenade and had a separate guarded area. We enjoyed our holidays here very much!!

One of The best hotel I've ever been to in my entire life soo far. It's extremely beautiful they have very friendly staff's and I love everything about this hotel and the surrounding. I will be definitely coming back to this place. Miss this place soo much šŸ˜¢. I 1000% RECOMMEND This place. You will have the time of your life. Not only that you wont feel like leaving this place. As soon as I came back to London it felt like trash I hated it j felt like going back to the beautiful place.

Not quite 4 star but with a bit more attention to the rooms (which appears to be ongoing) and perhaps a more Moroccan feel to the restaurant choices, it could get there. Sadly our first beautiful room in the main building was above a nightclub that went on until 4 am so thatā€™s to avoid unless youā€™re a night owl. Animations team were very lively and worked hard on the holiday atmosphere. But if you donā€™t want poolside music and entertainment, go to the beach across the promenade. Thereā€™s something for everyone here, just be wary if you really want peace and quiet, this might not be for you. That said, the entertainment wasnā€™t all day long so you can choose your moments. For me, it was fine for a week of winter sun.

Definitely NOT a 4 star hotel. First we got a room 10 min walk from pool/restaurant after a 4 hour wait, small windows,4 flights of stairs (with myself having a bad back) We demanded another room but they refused. Called our travel counsellor in london and finally got a room in the main hotel however the lift was broken down so another 4 flights of stairs. There were people in wheelchairs who had to be carried up and leave the wheelchair at the bottom. The entertainment staff were constantly harassing me to get up and do activities even though I told them several times I had a bad back and when I declined they were just rude! Got to the pool one day at 12.05 pm as I had been in pain only to be told I could not have a towel for the sun bed as they do not give them out between 12/2.30 (WTF) Staff definitely favoured the French over the English which in my book is racist! The food was hit and miss most days but on occasion was good. The one good thing was the waiters in the restaurant who were extremely friendly and attentive to us. The pool area was lovely and the hotel was clean although in need of updating. I would not recommend this hotel and its definitely not a 4 star!
