The hotel is conveniently located from the beach and centre. It's quite and clean and the towels are changed everyday and your room is cleaned. The staff are really friendly and always greet you with a smile. The rooms are simple but clean and there was nothing to complain about for the price. A great hotel and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and visit there.. Highly recommended..

We booked this hotel because it was extremely cheap and had a pool and breakfast included. The location is great and close enough to the beach. There are lots of nice restaurants close by and a nice juice bar just on the other side of the road. The rooms aren't great, but absolutely fine for the price. The furniture looks a little outdated and the beds could be softer. But it was cleaned and towels were changed daily. The only bad thing was, that the wifi was really bad in our room and the safe deposit box had no key, so we couldn't use it. Make sure not to leave money lying around! The breakfast was nice and we loved that we could drink as many glasses of freshly pressed orange juice as we wanted. We were really happy about the pool, too. It's big and clean and a great place to relax. There's some background music and you can order drinks.

The stuff are very kind and helpful. But may be because of the corona crisis the hotel try to reduce some of his costs, no shampoo and only one pillow... Otherwise a very good hotel with a friendly and courteous professional team.

Hotel Kamal in Agadir is an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The personal attention we received made us feel like valued guests. The hotel's location was also perfect, with stunning views of Agadir and convenient access to the beach. Overall, our experience at Hotel Kamal exceeded our expectation, and we highly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable stay in Agadir. It truly deserves a five-star rating!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Whilst the rooms seem a little dated, they are comfortable and clean. The hospitality from the staff was excellent, especially helpful were the receptionists Lufti and Mohammed and the doorman Achraf. They made me feel very welcome. As did the pool attendant Mohammed who does an excellent job of managing a good size and depth pool. Breakfast was enough to start my day, and the location is excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Is nice hotel and good location almost 8 minutes walking to the strand. The only negative they got is the towels and bedsheets are quiet old. I stayed three nights I bought my own towel the next day from the market. Hope they should understand next time. They got very good service. Very obedient stuff.those guys welcoming the guests. They speak English,French,Italian,Arabic I don’t know if they speak more languages. I enjoyed happily during my stay.

Although I usually stay at a nearby résidence in Agadir that has a full kitchen with large refrigerator, a separate bedroom with twin beds and a large bath room with plenty of hot water and a large bath tub, my terrace on Rue de la Jeunesse overlooked the Hotel Kamal's sun-drenched swimming pool surrounded by large terraces and chaise lounge chairs. Hotel Kamal has half a dozen upper floor rooms on the quieter back side with large sunny private terraces overlooking the large pool. On some future stay in Agadir, I would like to try the 3-stars Hotel Kamal. It has an excellent location, daily maid service, the pleasant pool and breakfast. Most reviewers give the hotel positive reviews. There is strong WiFi throughout the hotel. The Hotel Kamal's entrance is on Avenue Hassan II, diagonally across from the Uniprix and near the huge Place Amal. There is a full-time doorman who will carry your bags up a few steps to the reception counter and to your room. On the streetfront of the hotel there is an elegant and beautiful restaurant called Scampi. You'll find delicious foods on its menu, carefully prepared by a trained chef. There are reasonably-priced wines, fresh roses and a candle on your table set with table cloth and large napkin. I highly recommend eating at Scampi. Credit and debit cards are accepted.

Have stayed at the Kamal and reviewed many times It has been like home from home..... Clean spacious and with friendly and helpful staff and a wonderful pool it is sanctuary from the city outside but so well located for shops restaurants and the beach. It now seems very difficult to enquire about reservations tho.I was hoping to return in December for a month.

Very good value for the price, simple, clean and big. The beds are a bit old but good for a short stay. Good location, right next to some banks, restuarants, a small market, the beach and the main bus station where there is a airport shuttle (less then 10 mins walk). Staffs are friendly and I felt safe there as a solo female tourist. They also offer a place to kept lugguges after checking out. Wifi was fast enough for work.

I have some things that I wish they improve or add: 1. Airconditioning units. I visited around mid November for 6 nights and the weather was really unpredictable, therefore, sometimes the room could be warm or just enough. 2. Wifi should be improved. I stayed in the first floor and I sometimes find it hard to connect or even have slow connection specially during the night, most probably because everyone is using it. 3. I know that the hotel is old and I think they're sticking to that idea, but it would be nice if they modernize the rooms as well, specifically the bed, the pillows. P.S. This is more of like a personal experience I had that I did not like. I usually ask the receptionist in the morning about certain things if it's possible to do and there was this one time I asked him if it's possible to hang around by the pool since I saw that there were tables and seats near it - just to have my lunch or dinner and basically just to hang around and was not even thinking of swimming, he said no, yet other guests were doing it and he wasn't stopping them. The pool is one of their amenities that they're showcasing, therefore as a guest, I think I should've been allowed to do so. Lastly, it was my last day and I already checked out, I asked if I could wait in the lobby and even leave my baggages to them until I leave for my flight, he agreed so I was just seating and waiting in the lobby for my friend to arrive so we could go out, but I noticed that they were checking me out as if they're worried if I'm sleeping or doing something wrong. I find it rude. BTW, I stayed there for 6 nights and it was the 2nd time I came to their hotel to stay, but I don't think I will come back next time I visit Agadir.

Very nice cheap hotel : clean, nice customer service, big enough rooms. It's a bit old but you can tell that in the time it must have been pretty nice. Breakfast is Ok, not very worth the money but it was really convenient. Would definitely recommend !

Fantastic hotel, no air con but room was cool enough. Very friendly staff, special mention to the pool guy who kept the pool in great condition and was very humble and kind. Would highly recommend for the price and close to the city centre

This hotel is clean, safe, has big nice pool for tanning. Breakfast for 50 MAD - hard boiled eggs, olives, tomatoes and jam. Rooms are spacious, older also showers but clean reflect the price for stay. Internet so/so not very suitable for calls.

This is a great hotel if you want something away from the nightlife in Agadir. The area is very clean and quiet. The hotel itself was also very clean and relaxed. The staff I spoke with all knew English, which was helpful even though I was with a Moroccan. The pool is nice too! I can't get over the cleanliness, my most favorite thing. The rooms are comfortable, just a little "dated" for the modern style of the hotel. But this is not an issue. I was very happy with my stay and would definitely come here again when I return to Agadir in the future.

A great hotel for a low price, 300MAD per night for a room with two single beds without breakfast. Cleaners come by every day to make the bed and mop the floors and change the towels. The pool is amazing and the doormen are always nice and helpful. Great location as it's in the center, and right down the road there is a great BBQ place ( called Oumlil Chicken) and a great shawarma place next to it. There is also Tafernout Patisserie nearby, where you can get an amazing breakfast (their pastries are to die for).

Great location and spacious room but a bit dated. We didn't know there was a swimming pool until check out but the reception staffs were very nice and friendly.

Vintage hotel, old but clean. Rooms are a bit old but have found here the most comfortable bed in Morocco. Things used to be done in quality back in the day. Reception is flexible and eloquent. Breakfast is vegetarian. All in all recommended.

Ideal for a cheap & cheerful night or two. We stayed at Hotel Kamal on our first & last night in Agadir, using the city as the start & finish point of a bikepacking trip up to Marrakesh, across to Essaouira & back. For this purpose, it served as a cheap & cheerful hotel stay with a good sized twin room & friendly staff. The room itself is dated & in desperate need of a refurb, was clean and functional for our needs. The bathroom, too, was clean and functional, albeit also in desperate need of a refurb. The shower doesn’t have a barrier or curtain to stop water coming out of the bath and there is nothing to fix the head to the wall. The rest of the bathroom came across a bit grubby at first, but this is mostly due to the lighting and the age of the units. The staff, as mentioned, couldn’t be more helpful & welcoming. We purchased a late check-out on our final day for 150 dirhams & the hotel stored our hard plastic bicycle boxes for the week for free. The pool, foyer and public areas are again, dated, but clean and functional. Breakfast was an excellent, buffet-style affair & again, the staff were very helpful & cheery. It’s around a 10-15 minute walk to the beachfront & 5-10 minutes to the nearest Carrefour. There is a mini-mart just outside the hotel doors. Overall, we’d definitely stay here again, but if you’re expecting a modern hotel for a fortnight’s holiday, I’d probably recommend elsewhere.

When we arrived there was some guy telling us not to check in. He said that it's all scam. He said that he was booked and paid AC room and didn't get one. Not even after escalating the situation to police. Hard to say where is the truth there, but we had hard time also trying to get what we paid for. We booked some 37m² triple room with table and so on. And first two rooms we got to look at was more like 20m². We didn't give up and cleck called manager if it's possible to give us what we already paid for. So was the initial guideline to cleck downgrade paid customers. Anyway in the end no complaints there. We got the exact room we paid for. All the time staff was really friendly still. Breakfast was not good idea. I got some sort of food poisoning most probably from egg that tasted super funky. I bet tap water it was not. Altough their coffee machine uses it. It also had some sort of heater problem as hot drinks was around 50°C. Breakfast was old and questionable as hotel itself. I really suggest you to go near by market and find breakfast there in places where also locals go. Central location in this case wasn't a plus. There were plastic burning almost all the time on the empty lots nearby waiting for development. The market on opposite of crossing was 50% closed. One big tourist store was still standing. Maybe it will took time to get going after corona years, but quite ghostly feeling market and area now.

the KAMAL HOTEL has a very central location, and prices much more than affordable. It's an excellent choice for those arriving for the first time in Agadir and need to visit it, without worrying too much. Flaw: it remained in the 60's, no air conditioning, no hair dryer, beds divided into a double room, furniture in not perfect condition. Positive note: very clean !!! and the pool is a small oasis of rest. APPROVATED FOR TRAVELLERS EITH FEW PRETENSIONS AND LITTLE BUDGET.

Very nice hotel, placed about 15 mins from the beach. Hotel also with pools, what was very convenient to us, as a Europeans we didn't like the idea of swimming in the sea. The rooms pretty clean, but this is not a very high standard, still it was cosy and comfortable. Service very helpful, and the breakfasts were simple, but really good, more local styled, what I like very much.
