Great hotel just stopped for one week over New year 2024 .The public areas are five stars but the rooms are not more like 3-4 star. Food is good in the all-inclusive but the 3 restaurants you book into the Moroccan restaurant is the best and low lights give it a nice touch. New years Eve gala buffet meal 7: 00pm sitting or a 9:00 p.m. sitting was a nightmare not arranged well enough. We had to queue in the corridor. Should have just left it as it was when you just walked in and helped yourself. Also the hotel is out of the way and there's no shops or bars within a half an hour walk into the old town. Great long beach and you can walk along the beach front for about 10 kilometres. If you're leaving the hotel late for your flights, make sure you book the service room when you arrive to keep your room on, you have to pay by the hour per person. Also, do not get this hotel mixed up with the one in Agadir, half hour in a taxi . We did go and visit this hotel wasn't as nice but it did have a lot more shops and bars within walking distance and felt more touristy. Weather was fantastic! And the staff are really friendly. Give them a small tip and I'll look after you all the time. Would I go back? Yes. I would stay at the same hotel but also stop for a few days in Agadir where it has more going on first.

This is an awesome place to stay. A little isolated being a 20 minute taxi journey from Agadir but don't let that put you off! Taghazout Bay is a new development area with several large resort style hotels, in my opinion, the Riu being the best of them. The town is very safe, a bit sleepy, but worth a visit and easily accessed by the seafront walkway. The Riu is a big complex with loads of swimming pools - both indoor (heated) and outdoor (one heated, the other 5+, not heated). Adult only spaces, kids club, spa, hot tub, private beach, bars (including a swim up bar), and so much more. Rooms are big with terrace. International TV, free fast WiFi. Massive reception and bar/terrace area with loads of seating and even when the hotel is full you can find somewhere to chill out. It's All Inclusive and drinks were good with some branded products. We ate at the three specialist restaurants (book at reception) as well as the main buffet and found all the food was acceptable, not five star, but definitely good. My only criticisms would be children running around the dining room with parents seemingly accepting this as normal (note, it isn't, and your children are not the only people there so show some respect to others who happen to be eating at the time). Also when the hotel is busy, this policy some people have of putting towels on sunbeds at 7am in the morning doesn't belong here, there is so much space and so many sunbeds and places to bathe at this hotel it's just not appropriate and unnecessary. Would unquestionably stay again but definitely outside of children's holidays.

My wife and I stayed for a week that covered Christmas day in the sun. We arrived late due to bad weather and chaos at Agadir airport 🛫. The hotel reception area is impressive looking modern and chic the staff were very friendly and professional and in no time our luggage and ourselves were been travelling via buggy to our room. The room was comfortable and nicely decorated and very large There were his and her wardrobes and a safe a large walk in shower 🚿. I did feel the TV was useless but the fridge was an added bonus. The grounds are immaculate very lush and green, hats off to the groundsmen they do a terrific job. The jungle bar is huge and decorated beautifully with a balcony overlooking the several pools. The bar staff were all very friendly but the standout barman was Hassam, thank you. There are four restaurants, we only visited three. Whilst there due to the amount of residents staying not all dining areas were open. The ones that opened for breakfast or dinner and evening were well stocked buffet style but you could book a dedicated cuisine restaurant with table service. There is also food available in the Jungle bar but is very limited, as we arrived late the 1st night it was just what I needed. The pool area is huge with 2 bars, table tennis lots of sun loungers and closer to the beach are 2 extra infinity pool areas some of the sun loungers need replacing in these areas especially some of the four poster beds. The sunsets 🌇 are spectacular. My wife and I enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely return again. The access to the beach from the resort is the only letdown of the stay it has a strong smell of urine and fecal matter from the numerous camel's, horses and the feral dogs that frequent the beach it's not a beach I would take children on to ever.

Exciting to finally come back to Taghazout. We brought the kids and got two rooms next to each other (one week stay). Excellent views and grounds. The beach is truly amazing. The staff where mostly amazing. Tipping goes a long way for superb service. Nightly entertainment was a hit or miss but appreciated the enthusiasm. The Jungle bar area and terraces are beautiful. Food was not impressive (however the breakfasts were exceptional). They did have a lot of choices for lunch and dinner and a few items were great but they could improve on the taste overall. If you make it to the steakhouse get the steak. It’s a large resort so be prepared to walk! We would go back again.

We spent a fortnight there at the end of June '23 and loved everything about the hotel. The staff were great, the location was great, the cleanliness was 100% ... I could go on and on. There was absolutely nothing wrong with any of the staff. The food was brilliant. Everyone in our family loved everything they ate. It was freshly prepared with a huge amount of choice every day. Google won't allow me to post photos to show how great it looks. Thank you to everyone at the hotel who made our holiday perfect.

We just returned from a week stay and I cannot say anything negative about our time at RIU. First, the staff was so incredible! From the reception to wait staff to maids to pool attendants to garden staff; they always greet everyone. Everyone was so friendly, professional, and attentive. The standard rooms are huge and super clean. Even though there were a lot of people, it doesn’t feel that way because of how big the resort is and all of the pools. The main restaurant and steak restaurant are great, and they even accommodate to vegan and gluten free. The beach is not super nice, but it doesn’t matter so much because of how great the pools and resort are. October is a great month to visit.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff are wonderful. However, especially in a Muslim country I was really disheartened to see the staff having to serve and handle pork. Why was there so much? Especially in ramadan. It’s clear the hotel owners have little thought for this and their staff. Also a lot of cross contamination from the pork with other guests using the same tongs to pick up other food. The rooms were very clean and lovely, the food was ok standard but very much catering to the western folk. There was no authenticity to the food. Service however was incredible. The pools were lovely, with 1 pool being a little warmer and pleasant to swim in. It would be nice if a few others were a similar temperature. The cleaning of the beds/pool area could be more regular as often they were a bit dirty. It was a pleasant stay but I do not think I would return. Again the staff were the highlight of the hotel and a credit to Riu. The bar areas were lovely too with a good selection of non alcoholic drinks.

Great location, upgraded to beach facing, which is excellent. Maintenance could be better as our patio door doesn't lock and has clear signs of forced entry, hence the 4x. Staff are fantastic generally. Grounds are meticulously maintained and wonderful. I don't like the stray cats around the place, but others clearly do. Food is good with plenty of choice. Room bar could be better stocked as it's full sugar drinks and no beers. Beach access is direct, however there are quad bikes, camels and horses directly in front, so it's noisy and you get the obvious manure, which they don't seem to pickup. Also there is a lot of rubbish on the beach which they just seem to accept, so it's not 5X there. Once away from the debris, quads and camels the beach is fantastic to walk on.

Very good value per money, excellent location, staff and food. To make to 5/5 I would just have heated the pools because otherwise difficult to use (the hotel has 9 pools, 1 indoor and 8 outdoor - nobody was using the outdoor pool). Definitely a place I would be happy return

Done a week all inclusive here and it is the nicest all inclusive hotel I have stayed at. Decent food every night and day with different options each day. Nothing too much trouble for the staff. Wide variety of cocktails and branded spirits at no extra cost. Beers available for room mini fridge and no extra cost also (fridge comes stocked with cans of coke, fanta and sprite as well as big bottles of water left) Definitely worth walking down to Taghazout which is about 20 min walk up the beach, not a lot there but good to visit the local town.

We spent 6 nights at the Riu Palace, that hotel can definitely be recommended for the following reasons: The staff is extremely friendly and very accommodating. The food can definitely be offered 1 week but after 1 week you have seen that. After a few minutes walk you can also reach the beach and the sea, the beach is very clean and you can stay there without any problems. The waiters in the various restaurants are as already mentioned with the staff very polite and courteous. I like to dedicate a special thank you to Said the waiter from the restaurant Le Tera. Of course, the hotel also offers room for improvement, the room cleaning could be done partly cleaner and the towels could be changed daily. The buffet could be broader or they could cover a different cultural area every evening, that would be a good alternative instead of always offering the same buffet. Finally, the hotel can be recommended and it offers potential to make a trip again.

Was a lovely hotel very modern. Good location. However not quite 5 star. The reception staff need to be more efficient and welcoming. Wasnt showed to room after arriving late at night, had to ask for an iron 4 times. And the food choice in the buffet is very repetitive, lunch time there was no snacks if you didn’t fancy the buffet. Overall good but needs a few things to be worked on.

Fantastic staff, very friendly and helpful, they deserve 5 stars. The hotel itself has great landscaped grounds with access to a long sandy beach along which a leisurely stroll will take you to Taghazout for some local colour and shopping. Plenty of surfing opportunities of you are that way inclined. A good team of activity staff organise a variety of sessions for people of different capabilities and fitness levels. Loads of sunbeds and sheltered loungers but of you want one of these prepare to get up early to put your personal items on it. Around the main pool areas it gets pretty crowded, a bit like a beach on a sunny Bank Holiday weekend. However you can get away from most of the crowds of you try. The accommodation itself is pretty decent, 4 not 5 star of you have limited mobility and difficulty with stairs make sure you get a ground floor room as lifts are few and far between, that said getting around is helped by lots of ramps for mobility aids. Food pretty good although when we arrived the specialty restaurants were not all open as Morocco just opened the doors to tourists again. Choose your time to take your meals and it's fine, go at peak times and it is a bit of a bun fight, and that is with the hotel not full yet. It's family friendly so if you want peace and quiet this is probably not the place for you, especially around the main pool area. All in all 4 for the hotel and facilities but 5 for the staff. Find out how much they are paid and how long they work and you'll want to make sure you show your appreciation.

Amazing holiday here, booked through a Tui all inclusive holiday. The whole resort was tidy & clean. Food selection was great & my partner and I are vegetarians. The all inclusive drinks selection was great. Great rooms, tidy & spacious. Had a couples massage in the spa which was great. Went during school holidays but never seemed overwhellemed with families or kids because there is plenty of space. 10/10 holiday.

We have just got home from an amazing week here, considering it was out of season the food was really good and something different every night, the waiters in the evening were so good and remembered mine and my partners drink order every time we went in, heated pool is nice as the other pools are Baltic lol, cocktails very sour so we just stuck to spirits and beer, the double sunbeds we’re lovely! Room was spacious everything you need in there and cleaned thoroughly every other day and fizzy drinks and water topped up in fridge, shame we had 2 single beds pushed together. We had a couple of cloudy days so made the most of the quads on the beach and camel and horse riding. Overall our stay was really good and relaxing! Will definitely be going back staff were amazing!!!!!

One of the best 5* hotels I’ve stayed in. Staff couldn’t do enough for you from the moment you step in the doors. The hotel itself is spotlessly clean and has everything to offer. The decor riu has done in the hotel is amazing! With 7 pools one being heated, one indoor and two adult only you’ll always have somewhere to swim. The gym is excellent. And the food! I’ve never had such good buffet food on holiday before.. it’s delicious. And again the staff are always there to help. The only let down I would say for this hotel is the a la carte restaurants, but I’ve found that with most 5* hotels I’ve stayed in. The food was awful and the staff were rude and clearly couldn’t be bothered. I find The buffet food is always better than the main restaurants. Just make sure you book them at around 7pm so if you don’t like the food you have enough time to go grab some buffet food and great service. The rooms are huge and always cleaned daily. The WiFi is excellent. And the jungle bar is heavenly… the morning coffee is also fantastic. The indoor shop is over priced, head into agadir to get your home gifts. Will I go back? Yes! In a heartbeat, I’d just avoid the a la carte restaurants and hope that the evening entertainment improved.

I'm not even sure where to start - I won't be able to cover everything. The hotel is spacious and immaculately maintained with immediate proximity to the beach. The hotel lobby, jungle bar areas are well designed with plenty of cushioned seating around. Several pools, one heated, and one infinity, form the central focal point for the day. The gym and fitness centre is equipped with the latest Technogym machines (Smith, seated press, cables) with free weights and plates, along with several cardio machines (bikes, treadmills, rowing, step) Buffet selection was delicious - some places it becomes a bit repetitive but there was always a circulation of new dishes every night, as well as a staple of regular salads, fries, pizzas for the less adventurous or picky eaters. The staff really do make this hotel what it is. Cleaners, bar staff, entertainment, catering, groundsman work their socks off to make the experience as enjoyable as possible for guests. Our daughter loved Kids club, and they catered for activities in several languages. Special mentions to: Waiting/Bar staff: Hamza, Mohamed, Ahmed, Zakaria, Ayoub, Mechkour, Walid Bo, Aziz 🙏 Entertainment: all of the animation team, had some great conversations with Mohamed, and some good volleyball games with Ilias. 👍 Photography: Rachid 👌 Would we come back again? It would be irregular for us to return to the same place twice - but we would be happy to make an exception to return to Taghazout. The official photos do not give the hotel the justice it deserves, but I'd be more than happy to return and rectify the situation on behalf of Riu 😂😂

Lovely hotel, initial room issues but we were able to move to another room. Clean and modern with friendly staff. Buffet was a little repetitive after a few days, and l struggled for veggie food l liked. Great location and lovely beach.

Fabulous location and hotel to match. Everyone at every level works so hard to make sure you have a great holiday. And the food was really impressive - a fabulous variety available every day (see photos). Heading to the spacious lobby and cafe to hear the pianist (and occasional violin accompaniment) was something of a ritual for us.

This resort is huge. With staff who are very friendly and can be very personable. Only stayed for 4 nights buy for relaxation, food, drink, sand and sea this was just the place I needed. If I stayed longer would definitely spend more time outside of the resort and visit the local village as Agadir which is 45 minutes away.

We stayed at the Riu Palace for two nights in one of the Executive Room , Room 1046. the Room was spacious and Large and would have fit for a family of four. Food was average/ typical buffet food, we were only able to try the buffet restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner - since the other restaurants were reserved during our stay and we couldn’t get a table. We also booked a couples massage and it was great! We enjoyed it tremendously. The weather was on the cooler side, so we didn’t use the many pools even though they were beautiful and well maintained. The Beach was right in front of hotel but the sand was ok - Not beautiful like other beaches. The hotel is a bit remote but since it’s all inclusive, you don’t really need to get out of the resort much besides to go to tours. Great resort with friendly staff!

**Finalized Hotel Review: A Disappointing 5-Star Experience with Misleading Appearances** During my recent stay at a hotel that markets itself as a 5-star luxury destination, I encountered a series of disappointments that belie its grandiose online and social media portrayals, leading me to assign a mere 2-star rating. Constructed in 2019, it's disheartening to see the hotel's rapid decline, with facade deterioration visibly ignored, suggesting a broader neglect. The poor room insulation and cleanliness issues were immediate red flags upon arrival. Despite a responsive housekeeping team, a persistent chemical odor from the bathroom sink and uncomfortably hard mattresses significantly marred the comfort and quality of my stay. Culinary offerings failed to impress, with repetitive menus and an underwhelming dining experience that did not match the purported luxury. The external cleanliness of the hotel's surroundings, particularly the litter-strewn beach, further detracted from the experience, highlighting a disregard for environmental stewardship. A glaring absence of amenities and activities, especially surprising given the hotel's location in a renowned surfing spot, underscored the lack of thoughtful guest engagement and value. This omission, coupled with the hotel's structural and service shortcomings, emphasized a missed opportunity to genuinely cater to guests' interests and well-being. The stark contrast between the hotel's opulent online representation and the reality of its mediocrity was particularly striking. The sophisticated facade showcased across social media platforms and websites serves as a lure, setting expectations high, only for them to be unmet upon arrival. This discrepancy positions the hotel as a tourist trap, capitalizing on inflated perceptions of luxury that it fails to deliver. Service staff, while commendable for their kindness and helpfulness, could not offset the overall deficiencies in quality, comfort, and authenticity expected from a hotel of this supposed caliber. The experience was a vivid reminder of the disparity between marketed images and actual quality, reinforcing the need for skepticism towards overly polished online appearances. In summary, the hotel's failure to uphold the standards of luxury and quality it purports, combined with its misleading online presence, culminates in an experience that is far from the 5-star promise. This visit has firmly dissuaded me from future stays with this chain, and I advise potential guests to consider alternatives that offer genuine quality and transparency in their offerings.

Very good value for money for a couple of days. The rooms and the venue are amazing. The design and architecture really win here, very high end quality. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food at the buffet is amazing. However, the dinners are quite disappointing. They miss charm and quality. Don’t expect much at the venues besides the buffet. It’s a pity that the bar service is also poor. Once I had to help the bartender how to make a proper Negroni, and had a couple of other episodes around cocktails. The hotel has a lot to improve here. All in all is a very nice stay for Taghazout, but don’t expect the glamour vibe you may feel in the photos. The resort takes more than 1000 people, so it can get quite vulgar and loses all the charm. This too really hit those 5 stars.

The hotel is extremely clean and modern, the rooms are amazing and have everything you require. The pools are clean, big and brilliant. However the food is terrible, most of the meat is burnt and a lot of the food had a weird taste. I ended up dreading going to lunch because the food was bland and didn't look appetising. The sun beds were not very comfortable but there were plenty of them and they did not fill up really early. I would advise staying by the pool for the whole of your stay as there is not much to see outside the hotel. Also the entertainment is pretty bad in the evening but I believe that they do a good job of keeping people entertained in the day. All in all we had a nice stay but the food left a bad impression on our stay.

  • 3/5 Kathryn B. 5 months ago on Google
Firstly, this hotel is beautiful. The facilities, pool area, rooms, landscaping and the location overlooking the ocean is spot on. They need to set up a rolling replacement for broken sunbeds, we arrived in rain and it made the whole pool area look rather neglected. Harder to spot once towels are in place. Service varied widely from very good to ok but the main let down was the food. Breakfast was the best meal of the day but the lack of any 'fresh' juices was disappointing and somewhat unnecessary. The dining room used for lunch is tired, smelly and insufficient at busy times for the number of guests. Staff, though abundant, are slow to clear tables and this does not help. The lunch offer is samey and uninspiring. Often many items on offer are not refilled and look somewhat sad. The hotel would do well to reduce what's on offer at lunch and cook it better. Overcooked, dry and congealed food had us dreading every lunchtime. The dinner offer was slightly better and the outside dining area is rather lovely. Still, the same could be said about dinner as lunch in terms of freshness, overcooked/burned items and the variety of food. White wine awful, sparkling slightly better. Finally on food, we visited the Steakhouse Speciality restaurant. The steaks, though requested medium, had been cremated and the accompanying chips never arrived. We basically gave up and cut our losses. On leaving we cancelled our reservation at the Moroccan restaurant for the following night. We just could not face another disappointing dinner experience. We very much enjoyed the pool area and the beautiful beach and had a lovely week in the sun. We would not return to the hotel due to the poor food and lack luster drinks. This place has all the ingredients to be fantastic but falls short unfortunately.

I never write reviews because I'm lazy but I had such a negative experience that I made sure I wrote one. This resort was by far the worst all inclusive resort I stayed at. Food was bland at best and when we were able to eat. The only place that was open was the buffet. When we tried to make reservations they said it was all booked and when we passed by those restaurants, there was plenty of seats. Nothing was open when it said it was. My husband and I got sick and this resort does NOT provide room service. So fever stricken and hungry we went to the only place that was supposed to be open. When we got there it was closed and our only option was some pastries. Rooms - the room itself was fine I guess, they made us change rooms the first night we arrived at 11pm. We were exhausted abd about to fall asleep and they told us we had no choice. My husband went over to see what the issue was and they had given us the wrong room. We made the switch of course and we had to pay the difference otherwise they were going to make the worker pay the difference, which was awful. Our room also had ants near the headboard which was not ok. My cousins had booked the hamam and while they were completely naked, a man walked in on them. They just apologized and did not offer any compensation. This was infuriating as they should have taken precautions to ensure this kind of stuff doesn't happen. I can go on and on about other things that were not ok but these were the major ones. It's safe to say that I definitely won't be visiting this resort again and will advise people against it as well as it really made our experience so negative. I'm not sure how this resort has so many positive reviews, it is quite misleading.

Hotel very clean staff fantastic good variety of food ,drink is also good cheap cigs if you smoke The only thing that let's it down is the beach ,you do have a private section then you can go on main beach but that is where the camel's & a few horses are which they do not clean up the mess so have to look where you are walking. Very chilled and relaxing

Our stay in Riu Tikida Palace Taghazhout was incredible! Our room had a wonderful view of the vast beach. When sunset or sunrise came, our eyes were welcomed with a spectacular sight! The location of the resort meant that it was very convenient to walk onto the beach, literally a stone’s throw from our room, whenever we liked. One of the most important features of the resort was the food which was outstanding! The quality was very good and the taste was exquisite. There was always something for everyone and the range couldn’t be wider. One improvement I'd like to suggest is better food labelling especially for those who have allergies. Although there were sometimes labels above dishes, it wasn’t clear which label belonged to which food and I mistook foods for other ones and this encouraged food waste which isn’t sustainable. An easy to make minor change. The grounds of the hotel were truly beautiful and well maintained and it was very pleasant to walk through them. There were seven swimming pools, two heated and the rest refreshingly cold, shallow and some deep, which brought good variation and there was one indoor one too. We used the Spa and there is also a well equipped gym - both very impressive. The staff were exceptionally nice, social, entertaining and interacted very pleasantly with the guests. There was live entertainment and music in the evenings! Just a 10 minute walk from the resort is the little fishing village of Taghazhout which is very charming. Overall, it is the service which makes this resort outstanding - it really enriched our experience - we would definitely recommend this resort and cannot wait to return.

Just finishing our 7-night stay. The hotel is good and clean and the staff are all friendly. There is the usual sunbed morning rush with a requirement to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve one. The entertainment team are great and there is stream of activities for all ages, with shows in the evening and live music. The pools are all lovely. There is also a well-equipped gym on site. There are a range of drinks available. The cocktails were not the best but other options available. Only thing to note is from time to time music around to pool contained inappropriate words!!

We stayed at this stunning hotel in March 2023 for 5 nights. It was so relaxing. The staff were fantastic, food and drinks were amazing. We loved it so much that we've already booked to go back for 7 nights in March 2024.

I recently stayed at RIU and had an absolutely amazing experience! The service was top-notch, the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. While the food wasn't as impressive as the rest of the experience, it didn't dampen my overall enjoyment of the stay. I would highly recommend this hotel for a memorable and delightful stay.

Really good hotel. Location right on the beach is fantastic, design is lovely with lots of spaces on terraces and balconies to enjoy drinks which isn’t always the case in all-inclusive hotels like this. The main reason I’m not giving 5* is the staff on the reception weren’t great. We had a few issues but one of the main ones is that we’d run out of water in our room and had to ask 5 times over the course of 24 hours before they did anything about it. All the other staff - in restaurants, bars and Riu fun - were brilliant.

Recently stayed at Riu Palace hotel in Morocco, Myself and my partner came back yesterday and overall was happy with the hotel. The room was clean and perfect! They set up a little love heart shape swan with red petals on the bed for us when we arrived for our anniversary which was a nice touch. The view was amazing with sea view and pool. The pool was clean everyday, advice for the beds around the pool if you want the big beds with mattress you need to get up early around 6:30 to reserve the beds, but you cannot leave them till 7am or the security guard will take your towels! The bars are touch notch during the day serving branded drinks but you need to ask for the branded stuff when ordering drinks or they will serve you their local alcohol. The only thing to let the hotel down was the food! The buffet had minimal selection where it felt like food wasn’t fresh and left there all serving. It felt like the restaurant only catering for French as there was minimal stuff for the English. the other restaurants was always fully booked when trying to book in which is a shame, also the steak house doesn’t even sell steak! Work that one out? Overall the hotel was lovely and luxurious but the food let it down or me. Another thing is if your not a fan of the cats there loads walking around the restaurants with guest feeding them! Which is not very hygienic , the staff didn’t seem to care

Stay below average. The good: pool staff and restaurant staff are fantastic. The bad: Front desk staff are not trained and a bit rude. Arrived at 5pm and had three rooms. All three rooms were advertised as a "Partial sea view". Two rooms were and mine wasn't (see attached image). With my bad allergies, I always check the rooms especially for mold and this room 1059 had a horrible mold smell in the shower (shower edges had black mold). I went back to the front desk to request a room change and the front desk person (Yassine) was bothered by my request. He left for few seconds then came back to tell me...his exact words : "go pack your bags and we will call you in two hours" two hours will be 7pm and we have a dinner reservation. I told him that I won't be available at 7pm and he said "you can do it after dinner". On our departure day, a Housekeeping person open our door at 11:52am without knocking. She saw me and still placed a door stop and stood there. I asked her to leave the room since I wasn't ready to leave (checkout time is noon). Take your time to view other hotels in the area (my friend booked their room at the Hyatt Regency and their stay was outstanding).

The hotel is better than I expected, everything is clean and beautiful. With the 5 restaurants you have the choice to eat what you want and the food is various and delicious. Very good value for money as it’s all inclusive (food, alcohol). You even have a restaurant especially for the afternoon tea. Staff is very kind. You can surf in front of the hotel and it’s close to anchor point.

Stayed at this place in Sept 22, it’s a wonderful hotel. Great staff, great buildings and rooms. I read reviews about food poisoning etc which made me nervous but we were fine. Just avoided salad and ate cooked food. Also people moaning about a lack of variety….just pace yourselves, you don’t need to eat everything everyday. And they did make subtle changes through the week. My only feedback would be: - irons in all rooms (all travellers need an iron); - the restaurants (which need reservations) are almost half empty yet they don’t accommodate. Why? - guests grab all the beds around the pool and pool bar early and leave their stuff there all day. If the hotel served alcohol at the bar near the beach gates, it would spread out the crowd. For excursions, they outsource to another company - surely more money to be made by taking this in-house? Great stay and initially, we were concerned that 5 nights would be too much. It was actually too short and would stay again. I had a side sea view room, but would recommend rooms near the adult pool on the left of the resort. My main negative was that there were construction works on the grounds near my room and you could hear the ground drill (water bore) all day long and room renovations in a close by room. - guess they have to do it at some point.

An amazing resort on the beach with lots of pools. Very stylish, nice rooms and great service. Food is great, just remember to ask for the premium brand alcohol drinks if that's what you want, or they will serve you the local brands. The staff work really hard to please you and make sure you're enjoying your stay. Often they will go over and beyond. Huge thank you to all staff. House keeping is excellent. Rooms always cleaned to a high standard. Unfortunately no room service for food or drinks, but there is always somewhere open to get food and drinks 24 hours. The main thing that let it down was the poor evening entertainment (often found myself being a little bored on most evenings if I'm honest). Not quite as super high end luxury as some other resorts I've stayed at in the Caribbean, but those ones cost a lot more money. Overall this resort is luxury and excellent value for money for the price. Would definitely stay again 🙂
