I usually never write reviews but for this place I’ll make an exception. From all the places I have travelled to this is the only one which has been so rewarding that I have returned, many times. I am not alone in this as every year I go I meet multiple other guests returning with the same story. The surf instructors have always been of the highest quality, knowledgeable and willing to go the extra miles to make sure everyone has a fantastic experience. The food is consistently exceptional, local, health and delicious and the staff make you feel welcome and thoroughly taken care of. All the rooms and the equipment is clean and the vibe is very peaceful and genuine and everyone is highly respectful of the different people who arrive here. I can recommend and have both come as a solo traveller as well as in a larger group, both types of experiences have always been exactly what we were looking for. Will come many more times again.

I absolutely loved staying at Surf Star. The rooms are basic but super clean & everything you need for a comfortable base for surfing. The people are the best - staff managing & the chefs are friendly, helpful and great for a laugh. Food is healthy, filling and tasty. Surf instructors were all loads of fun & provided great guidance by finding the best beaches - visited & surfed 6 different beaches in 7 days, & their support in the ocean was invaluable. Ayoub was particularly helpful, easy going & encouraging when coaching in the water. They go above & beyond to make sure everyone has a good time. Making friends is easy! Yoga teachers varied & each brought different strengths & qualities, complimenting the movement & stretches with where was aching from surfing, which was great! l learned something new every day. Location is off the main road, quieter street, with cafes and shops nearby. Highly recommend this place. Go when you can!

My wife and I have just got back after an amazing short break with Surf Star Morocco. From the moment we were picked up at the airport until the moment we were dropped back we were greeted with a genuine friendly welcome. From the drivers, to the reception staff, the kitchen staff and the instructors, they all do a fantastic job in making sure you are well looked after from start to finish. Great place, great staff, amazing food and the nicest bunch of guests we have had the pleasure of sharing a holiday with....we'll be back Surf Star!!

I had an amazing time at the Surf Star! The facilities were immaculate. The staff was super nice and helpful. The food was amazing. I ended up doing a guided surf tour package for the week I was at the Surf Star, and every day we would check out new and fun surf spots. The surf guides were super knowledgeable of local surf breaks and conditions, and always manage to find epic places to surf. You could say whether or not you preferred rights, lefts, point breaks, reef breaks, beach breaks, crowds, or isolated surf breaks, and inevitably the surf guides would find exactly what you were interested in. This is a testament to how rich and diverse surf breaks are in Morocco, and how damn good the staff are at the Surf Star. Last, but certainly not east, the guests the Surf Star seems to attract are some of the coolest people I’ve ever had the pleasure of spending time with. My holiday there was one of the best I’ve ever had, and I’m already planning my return!

Warm and welcoming staff. I spent wonderful 5 days, had delicious food and had yoga and surf lessons from highly qualified instructors. The place is clean, has a nice vibe and its nicely localed. Thanks for the wonderful stay :)!

Just thought I'd write a quick few lines thanking surf star for a perfect trip. The staff are super friendly and the guide I had (simo) was awesome. You really can't beat local knowledge with an expert surfer. I can't say enough good things as he made sure every day was perfect. The rest of the staff were super friendly and made me feel like family. Surf star is my new home away from home. The food was amazing as well. I feel like I'm writing an ad for the place but go check them out and you'll see what I mean. :)

My second home! Wonderful, friendly staff, great accommodation and delicious food! First class surf instructors and brilliant yoga teachers! You'll never want to leave and will quickly start planning your return trip! I'll be back for sure ☺️

Surf star always delivers on all the levels! Staff is always amazing and super friendly and surf instructors are very knowledgeable! The surf house is immaculate and anything you could even need they make it happen! Food is the best and so much variety. You will never go hungry! Yoga is in the most beautiful setting overlooking the sea. I would highly recommend surf star as they are a family there and you can feel that! Love you surf star xxx

If you are looking for a stay away in a clean, beautiful hostel, surf everyday, freshly cooked traditional food 3 times a day and absolutely golden hospitality then this is the right place!! I have been back to this hostel twice now, it is just the best place I have ever stayed. I always feel welcome here and consider it to be my home away from home. The staff are always friendly and cheerful and make you feel like family :) I arrived late from the airport so I missed dinner but they saved me some food to make sure I didn't go without. The rooms are beautifully furnished and clean and there is a gorgeous sun terrace on the roof with views of the town and the ocean where you can relax and unwind after your day. Would highly recommend to anyone who is new to travelling and surfing and also solo travellers as you will be very well looked after. The social atmosphere is great and it is super easy to settle in and make friends :) I will be back here many more times! thankyou Surfstar!! xxx

We had such a great time! The staff was lovely and the surfing was great fun. We came with different levels of experience and the instructors perfectly tailored their advice to us. Food was wonderful, we especially enjoyed the healthy options for the lunch box. The surf house is super cozy. Finally, a big shoutout to Becky for the great Yoga sessions! We'll be back :)

My stay at Surf Star was amazing. I travelled solo as a female and this is the perfect place to meet other people from all over the world. The staff is extremely kind and welcoming, and treat you as family. The food is very good, healthy and fresh. The yoga lessons were of really good quality (thanks Becky!), as well as the surfing lessons (thanks Ayup!) In one week I went on may trips, including sand boarding, to a local market and paradise valley. All included in the price. They provide clean towels for surfing and showering. Also the ladies of the reception were very kind, providing me with a private room after I got sick, free of charge. Thanks all for the great time at Surf Star. No wonder everyone's coming back for a second time!

AMAZING PLACE! I went here for my first time in Morocco and first time in a surf camp. Or yoga camp. I thought the place was lovely! The highlight are the communal spaces: they are big, comfortable and the perfect set to share with people and disconnect from social media, etc. Big thanks to all the staff: Bushra, Becky and Mikela were the staff members I shared time with the most. All lovely, friendly and thoughtful. But of course everyone else in the staff was amazing too. Thanks to everyone!! The WiFi in the rooms was not great. Which I didn’t like at the beginning and I ended up appreciating because I realized it could be intentional: so people don’t stay all the time on their phones on the rooms and are forced to go to the communal spaces and socialize. The public this space attracts is unique: people from different ages and parts of the world that are normally well travelled, are very interesting and have the best vibes. I made a lot of new connections here ❤️ The food is amazingly healthy! Add 2 classes of yoga and 2 classes of surf a day and you’ll get the perfect holidays to disconnect. I would definitely recommend it and I am planning to go back with my siblings and/or friends!

I just returned from a wonderful week-long trip at Surf Star. I'm a beginner surfer and the instructors were so much fun and patient - they found some great locations for surfing. They also took us for fabulous trips to Imsouane and Paradise Valley, and to go sandboarding (all included in the price). The yoga sessions with Becky were super relaxing and took place at sunset and sunrise outside (you can't do that in October in the UK!). The food at Surf Star is delicious and healthy, and there's plenty of it. The perfect fuel after a hard day's surfing! The rooms are cosy and clean, but a big highlight is the roof terrace for chilling out in the sunshine during the day, or relaxing and dancing round the firepit at night. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the whole place has a big family vibe. The other travellers were all lovely, and had so much fun with everyone. Would love to come back - thank you all for making my trip so much fun and enjoyable!

I was 12 days at Surf Star Morocco and i had a great time the team is awesome😃😃i felt already on the second day as i was at home ,spezial thanks to surfteacher simon he's amazing😃! i was quite a challenge but he did not give up on me,kept me pushing and also spezial thanks to the yoga teacher olga she's also amazing😃!and the food is delicious🙂!!so wenn i left one eye was happy🙂 and the other one sad😪so that means i will go back for sure👍😁!!

Surf Star and the people working here are amazing! From the drivers to the receptionists, surf instructors and cleaning personal, everyone working here is super friendly, makes you feel welcomed and does their best to ensure you have a good time. The chefs at Surf Star Surf Camp are top-notch! The food they served was delicious and varied, with a good mix of local and international dishes. The surf lessons are very insightful, fun and tailored to your experience. The Surf instructors were attentive and gave valuable feedback on how to improve our surfing skills. he rooms and hangout areas are excellent, too. The rooftop terrace was a great place to relax and enjoy the sunset, and there were plenty of other spaces to socialize with other guests. I can highly recommend Surf Star and will come back for sure!

We were a group of 8 people who stayed at Surf Star for 5 days and it was great. Good instructors, food and rooms. Everybody who works at Surf Star is so friendly and are willing to be flexible for your needs. Best regards from Denmark!

Lovely people, awesome food, nice and clean rooms, nice location, great organisation with the surflessons. Everything was so organized and everyone was so helpful. Would totally recommend this beautiful Surfcamp! See you hopefully soon!

Very good, couldn't ask anymore. Food was excellent, clean accomodation, very good guides/instructors. If you want to get bigger surf or barrels - winter. If you want to learn - summertime.

What shall I say? I am in love with this place and its staff. 😍 Khalid (amazing welcomer!), Malika & Bushra (lovely ladies), Rashid (super chef!), Mohamed (super photographer!) and the owners are always making sure you're fine and feel comfortable. The Surf house is very nice, with beautiful spaces inside and outside. I spent every day watching the sunset from that beautiful terrace. And the food is perfect! I've had the best Yoga teachers: Christine, Breanne, Vanessa. My holiday wouldn't have been the same without their energy and positive vibes. And last but not least, my amazing surf instructors: Abdel Junior and Karim. Lovely guys, very patient and super funny! If you, possible future guest, are reading this: PLEASE GO AND ENJOY IT ALL!

My husband and I were here last week, and it was a very good experience. The foods were sooo tasty and healthy. The staffs were sooo nice and friendly. I really recommend this place.

I had a great time at Surf Star Morocco. Great surfing and great yoga plus amazing food and the staff is super friendly! Definitely will be coming back!

The fact we've been to Surf Star four times is the best evidence of what we think about this amazing place. The experience for guests is laid back and welcoming but this is achieved by lots of hard work in the background that makes the logistics all work, from airport pick-ups to amazing food, great yoga, surf experiences tailored around the level of expertise of every individual and great morning and evening yoga. Give yourself a treat and go.

The most welcoming, fun and amazing holiday ever. As a first time surfer and inexperienced yoga person, my level was catered for as well as the other professionals staying there as well! I will definitely be back as there's so much to see and do. Plus I miss the super friendly people already. Thanks and see you again surf star XXX
