The costumes are very interesting to learn about. I definitely recommend hiring a guide as they explain every detail of the various tribes with enthusiasm and charisma. It's definitely a learning experience and allows visitors to have a deeper understanding of Ivory Coast and its inhabitants.

Actually an important cultural history museum, especially with the address of the first (French!) governor in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, in the town of Grand-Bassam. But this title seems to have been forgotten: no resources, no contemporary museum equipment or even preparation, not here and not for the other dilapidated heritage buildings. It's a shame - the good, visible approaches should finally be professionally processed.

The house itself is interesting as it gives you a glimpse of the French-colonial life in the 19th and 20th centuries.
