Stayed there for a night. Mr Rajesh Avasthi, the owner is a very decent and humble person. The staff too is also very courteous and obliging. The room was spacious, comfortable, neat and clean. They have rooms to suit every one's pocket - budget friendly and Deluxe. The food - home cooked - was indeed excellent with a special mention of their 'pakoras' which are mouth watering. The place too is at a walking distance from the Bharatpur Birds Sanctuary. They took personal interest in taking care of all our needs including arranging transportation - we preferred a rickshaw due to paucity of time - to visit the Sanctuary. All in all a very good quality time spent with Mr Avasthi too. To sum up, just reached there and didn't have anything else to worry about. Everything else was taken care of by them. Thank to Mr Rajesh Avasthi for a splendid time spent in his company. Would definitely recommend others to stay there.

I stayed 10 nights in this charming hotel...it was one of the best places in the past 9 months since I'm in India 😍 The owners are so generous and always treated me with true friendlyness and the service was extrordinary. I had a very big cosy room with comfortable bed and hot shower including a delicious breakfast, which I could take on the beautiful terrasse. The hotel is very well located next to the famous Keoladeo National Park. Personally I cant imagine that there's a better place to stay im Bharatpur 🙏

Recently visited Bharatpur and stayed at Santuary Tourist Lodge. Mr Awasthi the owner and all his staff made our stay really very comfortable by providing spotless clean rooms including bathrooms. Taking about the food we didn't feel we were away from our home. The food was delicious and very homely. They prepare according to your taste and serve you as per your time. They also have cycles to visit Bird sanctuary which is hardly 500m from their location for which they charge Rs 200/- per cycle for whole day. You would save lots money by doing a cycle trip to watch the birds. The e rickshaw charge Rs 800 for two hours and there should be four persons in that including your guide and after 2 hours it increases a lot. If you are on a cycle you would save all those extra spending which I myself expirenced it. It was lovely weather to do bird watching on cycle. If you are also planning trip to Bharatpur I would recommend Santuary Tourist Lodge which gives everyone at home feeling.

There is good arrangement of food, good place to stay, good location and very normal rate with all facilities like wifi,Breakfast, Air conditioning, and Front desk service, Full service laundry, Child Friendly.

The rooms are large, clean, comfortable, shelves for luggage, you have a desk with seating and a coffee table with two chairs, LOTS of charging points, hot water for shower, free wifi. What more do you expect from a good resting place? And their food is just waah. Amazing people. They gave me packed breakfast to take to the park and even got me lunch in the park. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Bharatpur for birding. If solo traveller, you will find this place to be a home away from away, with the level of attention and care from all the staff. They're just downstairs and you just need to give a shout out and they're there. Like a mom. Super caring. It was a great visit to Bharatpur and sanctuary tourist lodge is amazing. So we get to see the park in addition to the magnificent stay in the lodge. The owner Rajesh Awasthi, is a great host and took care of us the entire stay. It is very economical and the rooms are very clean with great hygiene maintained. The food is top class and you won't miss home food if u stay here. The owner will arrange everything for you, and you do not need to think about anything. I went with one of my close friend who recommended me and we had a great time. I will visit again mainly for the hospitality and food of the lodge. I will give 5 out of 5 for the lodge. Had a amazing 4 day stay at Sanctuary Tourist Lodge, The place is close to Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. Avadesh Sir, who himself is a naturalist , will help you plan your birding trip. Birding throughout the day and evening conversation with him were one of the best part of my stay. You ll get tasty homely made food at a reasonable rate over here. Rooms are clean and spacious, beyond a shadow of doubt its one of the best stays in Bharatpur.

If there was a way to rate more than 5, I would be glad to do that. An excellent place hosted by Mr. Avdesh Ji. Everything is perfect about the place - proximity to Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary, clean and spacious rooms with all basic amenities available. The food served is awesome too, fresh and tasty. A special word for Mr. Avdesh Ji who is an excellent host and tries his best to make sure the guests have a pleasant stay. No need to think twice before booking this place, just book and enjoy your stay. I certainly don't need to search for any other place whenever I next visit the bird sanctuary.

Excellent stay with friends and for bachelors, extremely affordable rates, staff is polite, friendly and courteous. I stayed in both 6 bed private dorms for 3 nights with friends and 1 night private room too and so i can say everything is good. Keep up the excellent work...!!!

As a solo traveller to Bhartpur bird sanctuary, this property was above and beyond what I was hoping for. The room is large, clean, comfortable, shelves for luggage, hooks to hang clothes, seating, charging points, hot water for shower, free wifi. It had all the conveniences. The food was extraordinarily good. I loved everything I ate here. They gave me packed breakfast to take to the park and sent hot lunch to the park. They helped me arrange a very knowledgeable rikshawala, which made my birding experience in the park truly memorable. I cannot recommend this place higher for anyone visiting Bharatpur for birding. Especially if you are a solo traveller, you will find this place to be a home away from away, with the level of attention and care from all the staff. Sanctuary Tourist Lodge (STL) is a nice and cozy place stone's throw from the KNP bird sanctuary( actually you'll be in KNP even before you change your car gears !) It has got clean AC rooms and furniture and round the clock boiling hot water supply. My stay was in from Feb 6-9,2020 and was most memorable mainly because of the host Mr. Rajesh Avasthi. He is one most courteous and affable person I have met who has a constant smile. He never says no to anything. STL is clean and dining area upstairs is comfortable. Avasthi sir is always around to cater to the guests needs and evens arrives very early to provide tea and food before us leaving for the part. The walls of STL are decorated with top class photographs of KNP birds taken by many of his earlier guests. There's even a small book shelf with nice books for reading. The food is very simple but very tasty and always hot.All the dishes I had on all the days were very tasty and most fulfilling. Both Breakfast & lunch arrived at the park well before time via the rickshawalas. Avasthis sir is ably supported by his assistant and son. If you are a small family with a small budget this is the most likely place to be for reasons mentioned earlier. There's no car park or elevator but your car is safe outside the walls. We were a group of 7 guys who had amazing time at STL and if I have to go back to Bharatpur KNP i would gladly go back to STL. Avasthi sir even packed my dinner for late flight out of Delhi..Though the place appears like a very small hotel it scores very high on service, food, courtesy and tariff too. That's why I give it FIVE STARS. All the best Avasthi Sir.

Clean and comfortable room at around INR 850. I got non-AC room at discounted price of INR 797 on goibibo. Nice hospitality. Their poha and veg pakoda was amazing. It's around 600m from Keoladeo national park.

Good place to stay. Specially the food they provide is very good and fresh. You just have to place your order in advance and they will provide fresh home made like food. You will not miss your home made food. Also located very close to bird sanctuary. Overall experience to stay was very good.
