It’s cute, not bad breakfast options. Liked combo of 2 stuffed parathas + chai for 100 rs only. Water for visitors was for 30 rupees and for those who just buy it from them - for 20 rupees, which was kinda of strange. They open early and seems like don’t work till very late. Sitting is only outside. The woman who worked there was nice and they try to speak English there

Nice place to relax after the exhausting visit to the Taj Mahal :) It's located 5min walking from the Taj. The place is family owned, very charming and peaceful. The owners are very friendly, and they also have a homestay and a shop. On the menu: Western and Indian food, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The sandwich wasn't the best, tbh, but maybe the rest is good.

Great food. Close to the Taj Mahal and about the only place that doesn't have someone stood outside pestering you to come in (the reason I chose this restaurant in the first place). I enjoyed my breakfast so much that I went back for lunch. The owner is a very nice lady that speaks perfect English and will take the time to have a chat with you.

Not good prepared food. Gravy was watery and especially the so called Naan was chapati with some butter and garlic and a pinch of spice powder. I expected more.

After a very early wake up to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise our tummies were rumbling and we were in search for some breakfast. This place looked very nice and had great reviews. We enjoyed a cold coffee and banana smoothie here. We also found their veggie grilled sandwich and banana pancake very yummy. The woman working here was so lovely and also gave us two postcards of the Taj Mahal. Very sweet!

Hey, If you are a good ambience seeker then this place is perfectly for you . An awesome place to hangout with almost zero pollution environment. Hosts there will let you feel at home . Moreover you can have your food or snacks along with the view of the most luxurious hotel of the oberoi group ( amar vilas ) which is in front of this cafe only . And yes it is the nearest cafe to the " Taj Mahal".

Without having read other reviews we might not have tried this place, but we were so glad we did. This is one of the places where you get really good, freshly prepared food at a really good price. The people are really friendly and hospitable. It is one of the places were you genuinely feel that, as a tourist, you are not getting ripped-off. This also extends to the shop next door which belongs to the coffee. You can calmly browse through their good without feeling rushed and the prices are printed/written on each product. If you are looking for a stress free way to buy souvenirs or beauty products, I would definitely recommend checking it out.

We read about it on TripAdvisor and thought to give it a try. Initially it was closed due to covid but finally got our hands on this. It's a nice small cafe with indoor as well as outdoor sitting. We ordered Egg Maggi, Sandwitch and chai. Everything was good but we found it little costly unlike the pocket friendly reviews. Guys were quite friendly. All in all, good experience. Must try - Egg Maggi 😋

The shop next door is the best place to get souvenirs from Agra or Taj Mahal. The lady who runs the shop is so nice and kind, and she has the best collection of postcards I've ever seen. Her prices are absolutely fair - in contrast to the typical "souvenir" shops around Taj Mahal. This is the place to get any souvenir you want. Next time we come here we will definitely have something to eat at this café, too.

They have fake reviews. We walk almost 1km from Taj East entry gate on the opinion based on Google reviews. Pathetic Experience. We have ordered stuffed paratha one can see the attached picture of paratha. Sandwich bread is stalled and smelly. What you will get there is dirty, unhygienic sitting on road side.

Great place to get some food after visiting Taj Mahal. There is also a little store right by the cafe where you can buy some souvenirs. Owners of this place are literally the nicest people we met during our trip, so you should definitely go there!

The fooood taste was worse. I ordered egg biryani and that was the worst biryani I have ever ate. The cloves (long) and black papper( kaali mirch) it was over spiced and was not edible.

We have eaten here regularly . Almost everyday of our Agra stay we ate at this beautiful place . We liked the food . It was tasty and hygienic. They also provided vegan options on demand . You must try Gobhi Paratha , Aaloo Tamatar Ki Sabji and Missi Roti, here .We ate Roti ,Dal tadka ,Biryani , normal rice , Pakora too . Everything was tasty but taste might differ as you can cook the same food in different ways . Like Dal Tadka at this place reminds me of Awadhi Dal Tadka ( Awadh is a region in Uttar Pradesh). Food price is also reasonable. The behaviour of the owners is sweet and accomodating. So be open and try once.

Very nice cafe with great food and very friendly/welcoming owners. This place is great to visit after going to the Taj Mahal and is around a 5 min walk from the East gate entrance, and away from the crowds near the Taj. We visited for breakfast and the food and tea were all homemade and very tasty. Thanks!

So welcoming. Lovely helpful owners sharing stories of travel and laughter. Wife had some rice and I had a special large coffee cup (cold beer). Just stopped to buy a lighter and still here 1 hour later hehe. Great mantras playing, lotsa Nepalese prayer flags. Wife is shopping now next door, might have another special large coffee.

After visiting the Taj early morning, we walked past 25 hours hangout and decided to pop in for breakfast. We sat down under the cooling fan on the terrace, watching the tourist come past.We had a nice relaxing breakfast here after a visit to the Taj Mahal. It is an easy walk (or tuk tuk if you prefer). We had pancakes (which are more like crepes) and a tomato and cheese omelette.

Came here on my way from Taj Mahal and I was attracted by the mantras playing. The chai here has the exact amount of spice that I love so I felt like on cloud 9. I had the paratha for breakfast which I recommend, Excellent Good food. Good timing.Every thing fresh.I love mango lassi and banana pancake. Just next to oberio hotel.Easy to find.

Tourist trap with fake reviews. I’ll tell you my opinion and you can decide for yourself. We went because the place had a 4,8 rating and it was close to our hotel. We asked if they had espresso based coffee and they said yes. After digging deeper the owner, with a pigmented face, interrupted and clarified that they only have Nespresso bag coffee, which we came to avoid. We decided to get the coffee later and still eat our breakfast here. We ordered two lemon soda, two masala eggs and two tomato-cheese sandwich, with two fingers up our waiter and cook repeated the whole order. After a while he came out with just one lemon soda (with a bug in it). I picked out the bug, no problem and asked if we get two. He came back with one plain egg omelette, not the masala omelette and we asked if he got that we wanted two of everything. He had confirmed, not properly understanding the English he speaks obviously. We got all orders one by one, the first omelette without salt. We asked for salt and then the next omelette was drowned in salt, correcting our wish from the first one. So salty that it was un-eatable. At this point we were a bit amused and charmed by this young chef, and thought that the sandwiches should be great. The sandwiches were horrible. I tasted twice and could not finish the dish. Cheese tasted old and probably was not made to be heated either, with a bitter taste. The “tomato” was not present “, replaced by a bag of ketchup. The reviews. I only read them in detail after coming back to the hotel today, and many of them seem purchased or non-authentic. It is quite sad as I really rely on google reviews for my travels. Okay, I am a tourist expecting a bit more from a high 4,8 point rating, but I am not very picky. I eat mostly everything and accept that good quality varies. This was just not at all worth a dime. Okay, make up your own mind - however, consider yourself warned :) —Answer to owners feedback— 1. I never mentioned a website, you did in your feedback. So if you have something to admit, feel free. I am only saying my opinion is from reading all of them, it seems non-authentic. And I read reviews every day to make sure I choose the right places. 2. I said I asked for espresso coffee, and your chef said YES. We did not believe it, so after asking 3-4 more times in detail about how it would be made, we got a yes for espresso coffee. This is not a problem, but shows from start how difficult it is to speak with your guy. We just asked “Do you have espresso based coffee?” And the the first answers were yes, which means the communication is not good. 3. I am not bothered by it, really not, however nobody is present to actually ask if everything is okay. We were not asked once, and that just does not represent a close to 5 stars. I would say your true rating should be closer to 2,8 from our visit. Conclusion dear owner; Your food and service is way beyond standards. Good luck fixing that. I see you withdrew your first feedback now.

It's incredibly delicious. Thank the chef for the amazing Indian dishes, which do not leave indifferent. With pleasure I would return to Agra only for the sake of this place. Food is delicious and the cook was able to deal with the different spice tolerance we have in our family. While waiting, there is a nice souvenir shop and the owner is the nicest! Good place to stop and enjoy a meal!

Lovely little place close to the east gate of Taj. My American partner and I stopped there for breakfast after a 2.5 hour tour of the Taj. They were courteous, quick and accommodative. The food was delicious without too much spice. The surroundings were clean. Food is decently priced. I highly recommend.
