A bird sanctuary close to Agara. During winter a lot of migrant birds come here. The place is big and beautiful. The place is hardly a 30 minute drive from the city of Agra . The place is big and green not very popular with tourists. If you want to see birds in big numbers especially migrant birds then come on winter specially around December and January . The place also has the biggest Bear rescue centre. Please make a point to visit the bear rescue centre. The place is clean and the bird lovers are going to love it. Your children are going to enjoy this place. Place 5/5 , close to nature 5/5 value for money 5/5.

Heaven for birds that came here in the multitudes from far and wide. Home to more than 165 species of migratory birds. You can enjoy walk and boating here. Sharing few clicks of my last visit.

A beautiful place to visit in winters. Calm and serene. Those who love nature must visit here. Abundant biodiversity. Be careful of monkeys sometimes they may attack if you're carrying eatable.

Must visit place in agra. This place feels like an adventure island and has some really breathtaking views. A perfect place for family trips and picnics. Bear park and kids park are fairly fun. Monsoon is the best time to visit this place. Canteen is little overpriced and you can't take your own food there.

Excellent place for birding and bird photography, especially in winters when a lot of migratory birds visit. Note that the lake and most of the good spots for bird watching are quite some distance from the main entrance so you may want to enter in a vehicle and drive as far as the barricade, beyond which vehicles are not permitted, and walk further from there. The sanctuary also has a couple of watch towers but I found them to be of limited use. While the place is rich in biodiversity, it would benefit from better maintenance and care. A lot could also be done to attract visitors for bird watching. They charge an additional Rs. 500 if you want to take a camera with you, which is really high and discourages serious visitors. It also means that the sanctuary misses out on free marketing because fewer people visit and share photos. (All pictures are from December 2022)

My childhood picnic place 😍🥺❤️I visited here more than hundred times , a peaceful place for looking natural phenomenon and spent quality time with your friends and partner . A wildlife sanctuary is an area where animal habitats and their surroundings are protected from any sort of disturbance. The capturing, killing and poaching of animals is strictly prohibited in these regions. They aim at providing a comfortable living to the animals. It's an aviary , aviary is a place where birds are kept, such as a building at the zoo or a bird sanctuary. Overall I love this to visit this place every time whenever I go my bua's home and there is school for blind children ❤️

This is a very detailed review read it till the end. People who love to ride through the jungle, this is the place. You can have a glimps of Sloth Bear and several asiatic migratory birds. Best time to visit from october till April. You can drive your own vehicle (car/bike/scooty) through the the jungle for couple of miles. Park by the lake and enjoy the beautiful lake view. Lots of monkeys. Several deers Canteen is limited to maggie, chips and cold drink only. You can bring your own food and enjoy the picnic but I would recomend it only if you are travelling via car. There are lots of monkeys. Also a typical lovers spot. Lots of hidden places (khopchas). A request to visitors: kindly do not litter such beautful places use dustbin always.

High expectations will let you down here. They do not have much Bears to show you. There are only 2-3 Bears in here. Birds are shown often. A beautiful lake is overwhelming and you may have some jungle vibes around Keetham lake. And also you can enjoy the river Yamuna view at last and Surdas' kutiya ( Soorkuti) as well. A garden for your babies is at starting point with some jhulas where you have some rest as well. Note- Please took something to eat with you nothing is in there to eat only water can be available at jungle Cafe.

It's a lake and some place you can visit in Agra as the city don't have many options to visit. On 1st January it's overcrowded, rest of the year it's not that crowded. It have a park with lots of swings for children. You can see some Nilgai or a deer if you are fortune. On my several visits I've seen a water snake 🐍, turtles🐢 nilgai, monkeys 🐒 , once a deer, monitor lizards, several birds 🐦 and ducks 🦆. It also have a bear 🐻 sanctuary where you can see Indian sloth bears 🐻🐻. There also is a school for blind, surkuti .

Soor sarovar or Keetham Lake is a bird sanctuary and an IBA centre. It is a designated Ramsar Site, called wetland of international importance. The lake maybe visited throughout the year. Don't forget to get binoculars.

Ticket cost is too high for this sanctuary. You will be charged for Sloth Bear Refugee Center. Inside it only two poor bears will be seen and that too as after a long wait. You are not allowed to camera inside it even though you have paid Rs 500 as camera fee. No boating. A few water birds.

Good area but don't go without your own vehicle. You can take 2 wheeler so you can enjoy the nature. Boating is currently unavailable so you can visit (jheel) only. There were a bear so if you want to see then you have to pay for it. Although good place 👍🏻
