I don't even know where to begin about Busua Inn. Stuck in the small slow town of Busua, the Inn is a delight. We were there for NYE and had pre-ordered the food anticipating the crowd to ease the owner in serving us well. We were 4 of us and got served a meal of 4 salads, 4/5 fishes and a couple of local beef kebabs. All 4 salads were different and we got a taste of the local fishes through them. The 4/5 fishes were grilled to the right temperature with rice which we could consume. The delight of the evening for me was the kebabs which were tender and not chewy. Kudos to the chef who surprised us with baking us is own bread and some really nice hot pepper. :) If you are going to Busua, make sure you spend sometime and a meal at Busua Inn. Grab a nice bottle of wine from Danielle, the owner as well. Thank you Busua Inn. :)

Don't get fooled by the people actually rating the beach and not the restaurant. This place is a scam, serving fish that you could find for GHS 1 on the market, selling it 35, and drowning all the dishes in garlic. There was so much garlic that my throat was burning. The desserts were also disappointing and I will not even bother to talk about the inexistent service. The waitress made us eat a liquid ice cream with a fork. The owners really need to either close the place or to seriously put in place some quality control for what comes out of their kitchen and the hospitality. I will NEVER go back.

Busua Inn is a nice place by the sea, with a good atmosphere. I like especially  the sea front room with large terrace and sea breeze. Tasty and generous home made food made with fresh products. Welcoming and helpful staff. It was my 4st stay  there and believe me, i will be back!

HOST: Danielle, the host and her team are amazing. From the very first moment we felt welcome and they really cared about us. Though, Danielle is originally from France you can really feel how connected and integrated she is in ghana and the culture here and her storys are super interesting. FOOD: The food here was AMAZING! I really recommend to pre-order your dinner: once they know, the food is freshly prepared and probably the best food we had during our 3 weeks stay in ghana. LOCATION: perfect! could not be better, even for surfers, the best spot is straight in front of the hotel. ROOMS: above ghanian standards Would come back!

The host (Danielle) is really nice, open and helpful - and so is the team! Also location and food is excellent! I would recommend to pre-order dinner as they take the time to go to the local market and buy some extras specifically for your order.

The owner Danielle is not a good person! The property is nice and cozy but this lady is a nightmare. We showed up late in the evening after a six hour bus ride with thirteen bags and four children. I didn’t realize, but must’ve made a mistake during my booking and booked a room without air conditioning and was told this was all they had available. I have a newborn baby and three children under seven and on a hot humid evening with mosquitoes everywhere, and after a long travel, just after looking at the room, I went down to speak to her about canceling our reservation. I told her we couldn’t do the room without air because of the kids. And unlike any normal, compassionate human being, she was extremely rude and told us we were going to pay for the entire stay which would be four nights. My husband told her that, to be fair, we would pay for two nights and she could rent the room after. The lady was extremely rude and uncompassionate.. we then went less than a mile down the beach to a beautiful resort for very comparable prices with amazing service. Don’t give this lady the time of day..

We loved our stay at Busua Inn. It's a small, characterful guesthouse with an eccentric French owner (Danielle), lovely staff and right in the middle of the beach and surf schools. The food is some of the best along the beach, with lobster and prawns on the menu everyday (180c), alongside tasty French dishes such as ratatouille. The rooms are nothing special for the price (we paid about 600c/night for the largest double with AC). Overall I think it's the best place to stay in Busua.

We absolutely loved our stay in Busua Inn. You are right in front of the beach and can gaze starring at the local life passing by. You can do surf lessons next door too. The food is delicious and the place is well taken care of. Daniele is a wonderful woman that will make sure you have everything you need. We arrived as strangers but left as friends. :)

We had dinner at Busua Inn restaurant with my friends for NYE and were very disappointed. The fish was cold and tasteless, the pasta and salad full of garlic, not to mention the desserts (crepes with ice cream), where the ice cream had completely melted into the crepe, which made it really hard to eat with a fork (!) since our waitress took forever to bring spoons. The term « French Cuisine » has nothing to do on the name of this restaurant, I highly don’t recommend.

I live in Ghana and I often go to have a rest at Busua Inn Guesthouse and French Cuisine Busua (I think six or seven times in one year) and I never was disappointed. I can even state I am very glad and attached to this place : the environment is wonderful, the staff and the owner are so gentle and professional, the welcome is always warm and friendly and the food is just tasteful, fresh and delicious. As a French guy (and quite demanding for food), I take all my meals there and I am particularly found of the lobsters with garlic sauce and crêpes which remind me the ones of my childhood. I never had any problem during all these meals (breakfasts, lunches and dinners : I don't count anymore !) and I am looking forward to coming back very soon. We can be happy and feel lucky to have such a nice French guesthouse in Ghana !

It has always been a pleasure for me, my family and friends to go to Busua Inn. The team is very friendly, and with a bit of anticipation they do their best to get you the best available fish, lobsters, attieke, or plantain chips from the market. One day they even cooked for us a delicious tajine. Bear in mind there is not a mall nearby and that the sea can not offer more than what it has. I am looking forward coming back again.

Excellent beach-front property with a chill waterfront lounge area. The rooms are not fancy but are spacious and everything works. The food is delicious. The owner, Danielle, is absolutely lovely. Highly recommended.

The food of this place is amazing!! It tastes really good and it's good for the stomach (so feel safe). Rooms were normal, not super clean/restored or good value for money. We had a problem because it was full of leaks and our beds and clothes got wet. They changed our room but it would have been nice if they had the detail of giving us a discount given the inconveniences. It would also be nice if they remembered that breakfast is included

Better don't sleep there. Overprized room, no moscito net, broken door, no shower head, flooded bathroom, old interior - still they ask for 500 ghs/night. For this Price you get other hotels in busua which are way better.

Wonderful stay -- Danielle and her staff make you feel at home with their amazing hospitality, beautiful property, and of course, the cooking/food :) Thanks Danielle for everything, its truly a highlight of the trip for us!

Disapointing stay: beautiful location right at the beach but not nicely maintained. Unmotivated staff, expensive & bad cocktails, uncomplicated with adding an extra mattress but expensive (90 cedi/night), old mattresses, using exchange rates of the street (higher than official ones - not in favor of guests)

🫤 Aboh, one of the workers there was very friendly and helpful in carrying our luggage and assisting us late in the night when we arrived. Room service was however very poor and the washroom wasn't very neat. The drainage system of the sink wasn't the best and there were lots of mosquitoes with no AC...
